Maybe in one of their usual quarrels Betty gets so angry at him that she would pour her glass of water/juice/liquor on his head

how about if Betty "accidently" stumbles upon him in the shower. Maybe his water is broken adn he asks Hilda if he could borough her shower... The lock is bust and Betty walks in by accident.

my friends and I were discussing this recently even though they don't like Gio the way I do and we came up with heaps of ideas:

Puddle, car goes past

Betty throws a glass of water at him

In Rome, Betty pushes him into Trevi fountain

kisses in the rain

He has a fight with betty and storms off into the rain (I like this 1 possibly write it next)
