Announcing the Getty Girls Creativity Contest!

Purpose: To celebrate the creativity of the Getty Girls, we are holding a contest to highlight and reward the best in Fan Video creation, Fan Fiction writing, and Icon making! This should be a fun way to promote Getty and get through the summer! The contest is open to everyone who loves Getty!

Rules: Have fun and be creative! See below for more information.

Submission:

Each person can submit up to 4 pieces of work in each main category. That's a total of 12 entries per person, total.

There are three main categories: Fan Video, Fan Fiction, Icon.

Submission period will being June 22, 2008 and end on July 14, 2008.

Once submitted, Gioli, Angel, and Wooster will put each entry into the appropriate sub category.

After the submission period ends, we will post a message with all of the entries in their respective categories. At that time, voting can commence.

Must submit entries via email to: gettygirlsATgmailDOTcom (you get the picture, right? email addresses can't be posted on ff.net).

In the subject line of emails, please indicate that it is a submission for which main category. For example: "Submission for Fan Video category."

In your submission email, please include URL address(es) for your fan video, fan fic, or icon, name of your entry, and your username.

Voting:

Voting will not commence until after the submission period ends on July 14, 2008.

Voting will be by closed ballot.Voting period will start on July 15, 2008 and end on July 21, 2008.

One ballot per person per main category (three separate ballots accepted).

You must submit votes via email to: gettygirlsATgmailDOTcom (you get the picture, right? email addresses can't be posted on ff.net).

In the subject line of emails, please indicate the category of your ballot. For example: "Voting Ballot for Fan Fiction category."

Each voter should vote for their favorite entry in each sub category. The tenth sub category, Overall Winner, will be determined by total vote count.

Prizes:

Each main category winner, the Best of the Best / Overall winners, will win a Gift Certificate from Cafe Press. There are three overall prizes only.
