Topic: Found a new Fic Series I like

I recently found a neat series titled "Moving Forward" by an author named OtherMeWriter. The author explores what may have happened to the Doctor right before he met Rose in part 1 and then moves forward with the series with some interesting plot twists.

I was wondering if anyone else had read this story and what you though.

I have not read this, and most likely I won't until after I finish my own AU 'Verse.

I don't want to swipe someone else's ideas, after all.

But I do have to wonder why you'd post this here. My forum is rather a small one, and tightly focused on my crossover 'Verse. I've not even brought Rose into it yet.

Not to say that you're not welcome to post here, because I don't mind one bit that you have, just curious as to why.

Was it the fact that I start DW & GE at the point of the Doctor's regeneration?

Or are there similarities between the stories that you think we'd enjoy reading?

Some additional thoughts about this series might 'sell' it to me.

Actually it is very significantly diffrent then your series, so much so that I seriously doubt you reading it would have any more affect on your writing then watching the dw series. Though as you seem from your bio to like a large number of the same kinds of sci fi as I do I figured you might be interested.

This is a well thought out series, I've given the first few bits a read and like them very much.

See, I knew you could sell me on it. :-D

So glad! I have been enjoying your series immensely! Much yumminess to be had by all. Can't wait see what happens next and how the shrills get what they so justly deserve maybe a nice malfunctioning heating unit (stuck on that is) :) just the thing for an ice-loving Dalek.

I also can't wait to see what wonderful justice the Doctor dishes out to their captors. Just know I am on the sidelines with the pom poms cheering on the Doctor and his companions.
