Well, I left you all hanging. I know -- I know, that was EVIL of me. But I'd planned on ending Ties that Bind there all along; it's not a new decision. Plus it allows me to start this one with a bang. You know, all tense and everything.

I've got plans laid out for this act, including them making enemies, meeting the Alliance close up, making friends, -- Maybe even some pairing up?

There's more hints coming about Jamie and the Doctor, and perhaps what Romana engineered to ensure that not only did the Doctor survive but that he would have the network around him that he needs to thrive now that he's the last Time Lord. And I might even explain who Jack is...

The side tale is not as well written as I'm still getting the urge to edit, so I'm sure that there will be revisions to the chapters after I get them posted. I'm trying to decide if I should do full scenes or condense anything that does not have the Doctor and Jamie directly interacting with each other. This would make the juicy parts closer together which is the goal. Gag. my brain hurts....
