Just a note to explain why I've slowed down...

First off I hinted that the relationship between the Doctor and Verity really didn't start off all that well, he couldn't hear her in his first life, he spurned her in his second... but then by his forth they have become very much a team. So how did this happen? I'm planning on a story that spans the Doctor's 3rd life while he's exiled on Earth to flesh out that relationship. Should have lots of Doctor / TARDIS mental bonding and post-Jamie healing going on...

Then there's Romana. I'd like to do at least a short bit about how they reached an accord that moved them from being challenging toward each other to the fast allies that they became. And exactly why did Romana regenerate into Astra's form? Could it have been that she did it for him only to learn that he'd never become that close to her? Or was it just a sense of guilt that motivated her? And where did that TARDIS she escaped N-space with come from, seeing as they are grown and not built? Um...

Other stories that are pinging in my brain include something with Sarah Jane. Why did the Doctor leave her behind but take Leela to Gallifrey? Could it have been because Leela, primitive as she was, still came from the 51th century and the humans had become time sensitive by that point?

You know me the more the merrier so far you got me seriously hooked. *Looks innocent and slips Mutant Plot bunnies some growth hormones*

Currently recovering from stomach flu, um... yes, lovely. This is what happens when you get drafted to work at the 'other' school for a day... you end up coming down with whatever it was that caused the original individual in charge of the little monsters, er, darlings, to be out for the day...

But anyhow. I'm working on a huge update to "How the Doctor was Won", looking to clock in at 15 -20 thousand words. Yes, huge. I'd split it but I can't find a good spot to split at. So bare with me, I'm still writing. I'm writing fast. But the TARDIS wants her say. Oh and I found another name for her: Lynx. So in addition to Ship and Verity she also uses Lynx. Ok... Lynx comes from the following: Cat's Cradle: Time's Crucible, Cat's Cradle: Warhead, Cat's Cradle: Witch Mark. Just for those with minds that want to know where I find this stuff... :-D

Wow *boggles* sounds like a dozy can't wait to see what you put in a 20k word long chapter. I am sure like usual it will be riveting. Lynx huh? hmmmmm
