Other info: I might as well be the hoarder of unusual pairings. First, just read it. This story has 14 chapters and only 13 reviews. It's written amazingly well and it's drabbley. Good fun, if you'll accept it's an unusual pairing. It is M rated but it's not really graphic. Sure they mention things, but you're not reading what's going on. The author is really talented - her work just tends to focus on less read areas of fanfiction. Just give it a try and you'll see what I mean.

Okay, so pretty much everything by this author is absolutely phenomenal, but something about this fic really reached out and hit me.

Other info: This story delves into the life of an OC - a Muggle OC, at that - whose connection to the wizarding world causes her a lot of problems during Deathly Hallows. It's fascinating because it's so perfect - Samantha is a completely believable OC and Percy in this fic is everything he is in canon (clearly, the author remembered that, before he walked out on his family, he defended Ginny from Fred and George and ran out into freezing cold water to make sure Ron wasn't hurt). This fic just swooped in and took me by surprise, and the only fault I find with it is that it isn't longer. I would have gladly continued reading this for another 100 chapters. Oh, it also references a few other one-shots by the author in this universe, which are just as good as this fic and aren't long reads, but should probably be read first.

Summary: The wizarding war casts long shadows over Samantha Clearwater's first term at Oxford. A Muggle perspective on the summer and autumn of DH, with Penelope, Percy, and other wizarding characters in the background.
