Challenge: Harry born a year earlier has taken after his father in more ways than just looks. He goes to Hogwarts and meets three pranksters like himself and the form the new marauders. Starts book 1 pairings are shown in title. I would love to see what marauder names you come up with and hope someone takes this challenge

After the birth of Rose Weasley, Hermione realizes just what she got into with marrying Ron. He's rude, crude, and a sexist pig. Finding no real help from Harry as he's got his hands full being a house husband much like Ron wants Hermione to be a house wife. She looks elsewhere. Help comes in the form of a chance incounter with a former "enemy" in a costume shop while looking for a costume to wear to greet trick-or-treaters. Thus starts the affair of Hermione and Draco.

What you do beyond that is up to you. You could end up with it having an eventual divorce for Hermione with her ending up with Draco. You could have Harry find out and at first be over protective of Hermione as she's his best friend and then be supportive when (or if) he accepts the relationship. You could have it as any rating you wish with any amount of cursing (both of the magical variety and the non-magical variety). You could have the relationship be totally secret with Hugo be Draco's illegitimate son instead of Ron's son.

It doesn't have to focus on Halloween and can continue after that date passes.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any harry/severus challenges.

In response to Anime Monster, I love the idea of the fic, and, unless someone can somehow beat it, I will most likely do yours. Thank you so much for replying (and to everyone else who replied, I won't forget you guys either).

@Adaptive: Hmm...well...you want humor...Okay, here's an idea:

Harry's a pigtail puller which means, when he likes someone he feels that he must antagonize them. Thus begins a pranking commitment to Snape. Snape won't take this lying down and keeps putting Harry in detention because Harry makes very little effort to hide that it is him doing the pranking. Gryffindor is beginning to hate Harry because he's making the house look bad with his poorly pulled off pranks. McGonagall finally gets involved and asks Harry why he keeps targeting Snape and getting caught.

How it goes from there is your choice, but I kinda want to see Harry confess to McGonagall that he has a bit of a crush on Snape and see McGonagall's reaction to it. Whether you make this a one shot or a multi-chapter is up to you. Rating is up to you.

If you don't like this idea, just say so and I'll give you another. If that's the case, would AU, crossovers (if so what fandoms), or after Hogwarts ideas be okay?

You do realize that at the end of the epilogue they are only 11? Plus the rules of ff.net especially forbid smut. All smut must be that under the covers behind closed door smut of R rated movies.

I like the idea anime, however I might change a few things around. Do you have any idea's for the pranks? there aren't too many I can think of that are really good.

@Skexie4eva: They may not be 11 forever, but the point is, you're supposed to see smut on ff.net. There's a reason they only go up to M (if you look at their rating chart there is a rating above M that is supposed to be the equivalent of NC-17). The people who post smut are actually breaking ff.net's rules, and it is not good to encourage this.

@Adaptive: Hmm, well color changing pranks may be over used, but they're not truly harmful and would make a good immature pigtail pulling prank on a magical scale. I've always been partial to the idea of mass amounts of glitter. Singing doorways would be another good one (or maybe enchanting the suits of armor to do the singing and maybe add a dance number to it). Fake love notes from other students/faculty. Causing all the papers to spit ink when they're being graded is one I've never seen. Covering the dungeons in peanut butter. Super gluing the chairs and stools on the ceiling. Super gluing Snape's robes to himself or a chair or a wall. Itching powders, while classic and overused would be appropriate. The point is to make Harry sound immature as pigtail pullers are generally in elementary school. You could have some hair pulling actually occur, or other hair pranks. You could use the "I'm pregnant and having your baby prank," too (though please don't make it actual M-Preg). Dancing cauldrons would be a good one (and they do learn a charm in one year, I think third, to make a pineapple dance). Fill Snape's classroom with penguins. In act scenes from movie or television. The point would be no harm (at least not permanent).

Hope I'm doing it right... been internet-less for two hours since it went dead on me, and that sucked... anyway, for those who may have heard or known of the Ninja Gaiden series (wether it's the NES series, or the newer Ninja Gaiden series), I wanna see you guys write thsi challenge I got cooking up. It has to deal with Harry Potter being a hero as usual, but in a different way. Here's some things:

1. James and Lily may live, or only one of them may live.

2. If James and Lily indeed live after Voldemort's attempt of killing them, if they are to have more children is up to the writer. They also wish to find their missing son, Harry, just like his godparents Remus and Sirius (who remains innocent in this story no matter what).

3. After the attack, a passerby, Ryu Hayabusa, discovers Harry as he had detected the influx of the evil magic of Voldemort. Upon finding the site, he'll discover Harry Potter and not wanting to stick around, takes Harry. A) Not knowing that his parents (or one parent) are alive, he did not wish to stick around incase anyone else with the same foul magicks may come back. B) Discovers the child's parents dea,d and decides the infact is better off with him then left defenseless, not liking the feeling of the magic in the air (or rather the settling magicks that was the Killing Curse remnants).

4. Ryu Hayabusa and Dumbledore KNOW one another, but are at odds because Dumbledore does not like Ryu's lifestyle as a ninja (that and he deals with things that would frighten most of the Wizarding World), and Ryu does not fully trust Dumbledore due to being a powerful wizard with powerful magicks in his arsenal.

5. Dumbledore is either Good or Manipulative, and Snape is either ultimately for the side of good (retaining the usual Severus Snape qualities we like/hate him about), or is on the side of evil.

6. Harry is paired later on with Ginny Weasley, Hermione Granger, or Daphne Greengrass. How that occurs, you must provide a way for romance to occur.

... I hope I get takers on this. I will do my own version soon... and by soon I mena once I can finally clear my desk of the other stories that are just sitting around collecting dust. So, folks... who wishes to take on this Harry Potter/Ninja Gaiden Crossover challenge? Oh, and aftr I had made thsi challenge, I got one more and it sounds pretty cracky... Harry Potter/Grand Theft Auto crossover. Use either the events of GTAIII, San Andreas, or Vice City with Harry included in the whole mess of the chosen GTA title. Hehehe... yeah, this will also turn Harry into Gangster!Harry if you choose San Andreas as the GTA base.

Okay, so I put this up on an HP/Stargate crossover group. I am in love with HP/SG1 crossovers, however, I've been reading a fic the last couple of days that have given me a very intense desire to see more of a similar genre. What I want to see, and this is a very loose challenge.

Dark!Harry SG1 crossover.

I don't want Harry being all let's kick Gau'old butt. In fact if he's an ally of the Gau'old (or a Gau'old himself) that would be the best. I like the characters of SG-1 (notably Jack, Daniel, Sam, Teal'c, Hammond, and Fraiser), so I don't want to see them being beaten into the ground, but tension is always good. Maybe something like a Cold War situation. I also like certain Gau'old characters that were gotten rid of much too early (I'm a big fan of Hathor, and Sokar would be an excellent addition).

I would write this myself, but I'm currently writing not one, but two HP/SG-1 crossovers (they're actually both crossed with at least one other fandom).

I temporarily love you. I love making challenges. So. AU is my speciality tell me if you want a new one. Draco witnesses Harry intervening a fight between Ron and Hermione before it got physical. Not all is right with the golden trio and Draco wants to find out whats wrong. Slowly he finds clues that Hermione was harboring a crush on someone, a Slytherin specifically. Ron in his normal state of idiocity tries to convince Hermione to "drop the snake and go out with me! (please use that somewhere)." After Ron strikes Harry for getting in the way Hermione runs off crying. Draco finds a poem she wrote during prefect rounds and tries to find the author(ess).

Since Christmas during first year, Draco Malfoy has been under the Imperious Curse, courtesy of his father. Discovered in Malfoy Manor a week after his father was killed in the Second Wizarding War, Draco is taken into custody for his war crimes. He insists he was under the Imperious Curse, but is held at the Ministry pending imprisonment in Azkaban. Draco offers information on his father in exchange for his freedom.

The canon timeline mostly stands. However, Draco, being controlled by his father, killed Dumbledore, and Snape lives.

Harry's level of involvement is up to you.

Harry is betrayed by Dumbledore, Ron, and Hermoine (but not sent to Azakaban).

Harry recieves becomes a magical creature somehow. (The creature can be a veela, vampire, or werewolf, but I would prefer something more original).

Harry goes to a new school.

MUST BE SLASH but can be with anyone including an OC or can even be a threesome or moresome.

Voldemort can be good or bad, but preferably bad with Harry siding with him anyways.

Here's an idea.

AU. Sirius doesn't remain dead. The Fates return him to life as a gift to Harry for his self sacrifice (you can choose whether or not to bring back everyone else) after the war. Harry moves in with Sirius as does Remus, a Maurauder family indeed. I say the story should be a day in life of this family or even a single evening (night). If you want a more specific challenge you can have Harry go off to hang with Hermione (and Ron) leaving Sirius and Remus for a true Maurauder evening, they don't have to be a couple. Or it could be their first night with all three finally moved in, Harry has gone to bed and Sirius and Remus are left to reflect on the turn arounds in their lives. Do what you want with Tonks. You can have her leave for some reason, or you can just ignore her entirely. But yeah that's the basis, feel free to to pick and choose what parts you use. Good luck :).

OK BadTrash how about this....Draco becomes a man and makes his first big decision and takes the reigns of his own life. He does this by not killing Dumbledore and defecting to the side of the Light. Just as the Death Eaters come charging into the Astronomy Tower he and Harry and Dumbledore round them up like the pigs they are and hand them over to the Aurors. While in Dumbledore's office, Harry and Draco come to an understanding as Dumbledore talks to the minister through the Floo channels. They are no longer enemies, it's wrong to be so while being on the same side of the war. Harry acknowledges that what Draco did took alot, to turn away from his father and everything he knew, a lesser and more worthless man wouldn't have done it. Draco did and Harry can appreciate that. In turn Draco acknowledges that Harry has a hard time ahead of him and is bearing it well and doesn't deserve the hard time Draco's put him through and can appreciate the fortitude. They are allies now. In time Harry's friend come to value draco as one of their own. I suggest the core of this fiction's plot be the group defending Draco when they encounter Lucius somewhere...but feel free to alter what you want. Gook luck :).

Harry works at Hogwarts and as Rose's favorite uncle takes it upon himself to watch over his neice while she's at school. His job being such he takes it upon himself to sit both Rose and Scorpio down when he finds out they're dating. Harry is ok with it, suprising the couple, considering Harry's past with Scorip's father. Scorpio says "But you HATE my father" (possible title) but Harry explains his understanding with Draco. The couple leave the "meeting" and have a bewildered couple's talk while Scorpio walks Rose back to her common room...yeah idk just a suggestion.

@hpgirl4ever: you have to be more specific than that. Do you want the challenge to be during Hogwarts, after Hogwarts, AU? Do you want innocent fluff or hard-core hurt/comfort or lots of angst? Do you want it to be rated K, K+, T, or M? Do you want something holiday related or just something more general? Do you want something similar to something that's been done before or something completely original? With what you gave me I could give out a thousand and one different challenges, narrow it down and I'll be happy to give you a proper challenge.

@hpgirl4ever: Okay, here's an idea that I haven't seen done before (mostly because it's HBP and DH compliant, minus the epilogue):

Professor McGonagall is the interm headmistress, again, and decides to force the Golden Trio to sit their N.E.W.T.s. Of course they really haven't been doing any prep work. In order to pay back the life debts he owes (and payback the fact that he and his parents got out of the war together thanks to Harry), Draco decides to help Harry cram for the tests while Hermione helps Ron (due to the fact that Hermione could have probably sat the N.E.W.T.s in OotP). Of course, many teenagers know "studying" is a euphemism.

It would probably be a one-shot on the long side, or it could be a shorter one-shot if you take one of these "study" sessions and put in some background.

Does anyone have a nice fluffy, and a little angusty, christmasy Harry/Draco challenge? It could be one-shot or multi chaptered, and i would like it so no one knows about they're relationship at the begining. If you don't have anything like that i'm also looking for a cute Harry/Severus challenge:)

Second-Year (CoS): Harry knows Draco is not the Heir of Slytherin as the two have secretly been "dating" (remember they're only 12, so it's not real serious, no eternal love confessions). Draco keeps telling Harry in private that he doesn't know who the Heir is. Harry is still suspicious and with Ron does the Polyjuice thing (remember the entrance to Slytherin common room is not a portrait, but a carving in a wall in the shape of a snake). There's your drama, Draco finds out that Harry spied on him and has no trust, so Harry must prove that he does trust Draco.

Include a cute gift exchange.

Include preteen drama (break-up/get-back together)

Whether or not anyone finds out, is your decision.

Fifth-Year (OotP): Draco is being an asshole and holiday interrupted challenge.

Draco doesn't seem to appreciate Harry anymore and is pro-Umbridge. Harry is feeling unloved. When Arthur is attacked and Harry is sent with the Weasley's to headquarters, Draco realizes that he can't take anything for granted anymore, especially Harry.

Make Draco the lead character and show him trying to get to Harry so they can spend one last peaceful Christmas together. Include public apologies, more than one secret relationship reveled. And some good old fashioned teenage dramagst in which everything is the end of the world. Have Snape in a role as Draco's "prefect Holiday" helper trying to get him into Headquarters (since Draco doesn't know the secret). Include liberal amounts of lemon drops and lots of out-of-breath Dracos (maybe a few "I really need to get into better shape." lines)

How's that one? They're fifteen in that one, if you need me to go older, I'll think of something. I think up hundreds of plot bunnies, but few ever get written so I have a bit of a bunny farm going on.

My idea would have like, a month or so before Christmas when they start dating, then The christmas where something big happens, like they "come out of the closet" and everyone accepts them openly, then a future christmas where they look back on what happened that christmas, and... ya....
