Eh. Well, you see, the reason I never completed the game is because I prolonged the inevitable for so long. I had Cloud, Aerith, and Vincent levelled up to level 80 you see, and I kept running all over the world map; since I was at the Temple of the Ancients and yeah. I didn't want Aerith to die yet. ; ;

Then my brother ended up breaking my disk. & my memory card was misplaced.

Now that I think about it . . . no, I've never actually watched the ending for the game. But I know basically what happens from spoiling myself and stoof.

Well, when I first played the game, I had NO idea she was going to die. I was 7 so I wasn't looking up spoilers or anything I just played the game. My team was Cloud, Aeris, and Cid. (when she died it was Cloud, Cid, Vincent) So when she left to go fight Sephiroth I was like "NOOOO" But then when Cloud came for her I was SOOO happy that they were together until Sephiroth came down and she was let down in the water...I cried, I'm not going to lie! I stopped playing for a while .

After I played the game, I made another one thats still on disc 1, with Aeris in the team.

If my bro broke my FFVII discs I would hurt him XD lol but I have an older brother so it would be kinda hard -_-

Well, the ending of FFVII sucked lol It made me mad, but the last scene shows Aeris, which made me sorta happy.

No, I think Aeris is a more important character then Tifa. I like Tifa, but did you know Tifa was added in the game at the last second? The original characters are: Cloud, Aeris, and Barret. Tifa was a addon. *nods* Aeris is meant to be one of the most important characters in the game, especially when she saves the world, and they show her at the end of FFVII. It shows how important her character is.

Yeah, I thought the same thing, because they switched some stuff around in CC and if they remake FFVII I am afraid of what they might do. It might be good or it might be bad, though with the Aeris/Cloud/Tifa thing, I think they might make it more obvious to the fans of who Cloud loves. WHICH is already obvious but well clotis...anyway! Some parts like when Cloud dresses as a girl, I wouldnt want that to be changed because of how funny it was but I can see them changing it around a bit .

Nah, Tifa's outfits are to revealing, especially since shes running around fighting stuff. I was glad in AC they actually gave her an outfit, because during her fight scene I would not be happy seeing that in her FFVII outfit, her CC outfit is just as bad.

I know, Ive wanted to have a story with Sora as their kid but i havent gotten anything yet :- / the only thing i think of is Berria's stories, she has one like that that is really good. ^_^

hehe... i hope many more CLorith turns up though... Nomura shows that CLoud and Aerith are meant to be, in many games... CLoTi's don't think of it as evidence because they say those games are independent of FFVII... it makes me sad... hehe...

I got into Cloud and Aerith only a couple of days ago, because I have been watching videos on Youtube, and I was suddenly wondering if people had made any vids for them. My first encounter with the amazing couple was on Kingdom Hearts 2 when Cloud and Sora were talking about the darkness and what not. I liked how Aerith came into the scene and talked to Cloud. He seemed a bit nervous, though, because he didn't want her there when he would have to go away again to fight the Heartless and a couple of Nobodies. I was confused at first, because I was just shocked to see that Cloud and Aerith obviously had a thing for each other. Little did I know, at the time, that the two had an outstanding friendship/relationship in Final Fantasy and Advent Children. I've never played either game, but I would like to. My PS2 is broken. :(

I just kind of like Cloud and Aerith are somewhat opposite of each other. She's cheery and bubbly and Cloud's just a tad bit emo, but it's amazing how well they mesh together that way. Cloud brings out a more serious side of Aerith that I quite like, and Aerith helps Cloud to see the light quite often throughout the games (or so I've read.) I don't know. They have a lot of chemistry! I love how Aerith is just so pure and innocent and that brings out a caring/loving side of Cloud that I really adored.

But since Kingdom Hearts 2 is my only real encounter with them, I'm partial to mentioning those two little moments they shared. I just kind of like Cloud and Aerith are somewhat opposite of each other. She's cheery and bubbly and Cloud's just a tad bit emo, but it's amazing how well they mesh together that way. Cloud brings out a more serious side of Aerith that I quite like, and Aerith helps Cloud to see the light quite often throughout the games (or so I've read.) I don't know. They have a lot of chemistry! I love how Aerith is just so pure and innocent and that brings out a caring/loving side of Cloud that I really adored.

I kind of like how most cliche movies/video games come to think as love as the opposite of darkness. For me, love and light are the same thing, and I think Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 do a good job at comparing the two elements are one with the relationships in it, but even if they had two short moments in the game, I think they showed it the best with Aerith and Cloud.

Yeah, Tifa and Cloud share sibling love, but Cloud only shares romantic love with Aerith and vice-versa. As for Zack, I don't know, I've seen videos and he just kinda reminds me of Leon/Squall from KH.

Nope. I have not played CC. Btw, have you guys heard Aerith's new voice in that game yet? It's super cute and bubbly. Just like how her pictured her. Much better than her KH2!voice if you ask me.

I'm super happy to meet other people who feel the same as me. Aerith is seriously my most favorite character PERIOD ( Hinata being second 'cause she's so adorable ). I always feel discouraged though, because it seems like more people favor Tifa. Don't get me wrong, I like her too. To be honest, I suppose I see myself in her. The way I've always seen it is like this: Aerith is the girl I aspire and wish I could be, and Tifa is the girl that I can relate to. She has insecurities, fears, and weaknesses just like everyone else. Yet she tries to overcome those obstacles and be the strongest woman she can be. Give her some credit for trying, at least. You know?

KH2!Teef is a whole other story; the way she punches the wall like that and runs after poor Cloud resembles something similar to a banshee out of heck. Sheesh! Freaky stalker much? O__x

Aerith is just . . . a beautiful woman, both inside and out. I think Tifa is gorgeous, too, but Aerith is a lot more stunning to me because of her unique character design.

B-But guys! You have to admit. In most cases, opposites do not attract.

While it may sound like such a lovely concept, in real life relationships do not work like that for the most part. There has to be at least ONE similarity for the two people in question to find a common ground, ne? & while Aerith is optimistic and sweet, whereas Cloud is awkward and solemn, they both are alike in one notable way -- in their reflective pasts and backgrounds.

Both grew up alone amongst other things. But at the same time, they grew up with different personalities that set them apart. & since their personalities are so different, this is what makes them great together. Aerith makes Cloud more happy than Tifa ever did, even back when they were children. Tifa is similar to Cloud when it comes to personality as well; for lack of better word, they're both angst-ridden emos. Aerith is more cheery despite her tragic past and she is what Cloud needs in his life. She is more bubbly, outgoing, not to mention the only one to have actually brought out Cloud's caring side more than once.^^

& as for Tifa's relationship to Cloud? Nomura himself stated that Tifa has a maternal bond with Cloud. 'Nuff said. ;D

In MOTP, Aerith states that she loves Cloud more than she ever loved Zach. So Zerith is pretty much out the window -- they're close friends, but that's about it at this point.

I think that Cloud and Aerith share a special bond that's not friendship, nor love, but something for greater, but love is the best way to put it, I guess. Also, I really do like how they start out as friends, but they start to become best friends through the coarse of their history. (I may not have played the games, but I can always read about it.) Cloud and Aerith have really grown together through the stories/games together, despite the fact that she is dead. I mean, even in death, they still find ways to see each other. Their relationship kind of reminds me of what my fiancee and I used to be, so it makes them relatable.

It's not that I loathe Cloud and Tifa together, because I don't, but I like them both indepedently and not together. They're just better off that way. Cloud loves Tifa, but he's not in love with her, y'know? And I can't blame Tifa for trying to be another girl in his life that cares about him just as Aerith did. I'll give Tifa credit for that, because she deserves it.

Aerith is a very stunning young lady and it's a real shame (that in some cases) she wasn't allowed to grow more beautiful. I'll say it before and I'll say it again, I appreciate the mere innocence that her character design brings out and her personality matches. Thank goodness for Kingdom Hearts, though. They not only updated her look, but they updated Cloud and Aerith's relationship. *girlish squeel*

I think another thing that I like about the relationship is that Cloud used to be some loner, but she came along and showed him that he is never alone, not as long as you have your friends looking out for you. I think Cloud's whole grieving period was another nice touch to their relationship, because honestly, I think Cloud felt that he needed permission from Aerith to move on, or maybe it was the fact that he merely needed to see her one last time. He got his wish and it proved that true love never really dies. (Jack and Rose, much?)

Aerith is a good girl and Cloud is a bad boy. Oh yeah, those two are meant to be.

No, your post doesn't bore. Quite the opposite, in fact. It inspires to continue with this conversation, and maybe write a Clorith ff.

I think Aerith being so opposite from Cloud is the thing that draws the two together. I think Cloud is the type of guy that needs somebody to rely on, though he may deny it as much as he wants. He needs a good friend because he needed to be shown that you're never alone. Aerith started out as truly being his friend and she was somebody that Cloud came to really care about. She didn't allow Cloud to ever treat her like a damsel in distress and she kept him from being the macho, tough guy. Aerith, on the other hand, did allow Cloud to smile, because he never did much of that. Yet, when he was around her, I think Cloud felt safe enough to smile at her, whereas he could never truly be himself with his other friends, especially Tifa. They often expected too much out of him, while Aerith except Cloud for Cloud.

Cloud and Tifa shared a bond, but it wasn't as special as Cloud and Aerith's. Cloud and Aerith share a spiritual connection. Cloud and Tifa didn't. Enough said on that.

I don't exactly mind the way Tifa dresses, but I don't support it either. I guess it would be easier to move around in, but then again, in many cases, it's leather. Leather doesn't breathe. Tifa is one of those cliche heriones wearing leather and with oversized, unrealistic breasts. All in all, her outfit is a bit over the top, but she's an okay character, but is nowhere near becoming my favorite.

It's funny how I sometimes forget all about Zack when I'm talking about Aerith and/or Cloud. Yes, Cloud and Zack had much in common, and Aerith said that Cloud reminded her of him, but she also said that she came to tell the difference and saw Cloud for what he was and not for Zack.

It's not that I totally dislike CloTi, but I can't see any actually happiness in their future. Happy moments, yes, eternal happiness, no. Aerith gave Cloud a reason to smile and I can picture him smiling forever when he's around her.

Talking about Jack and Rose, we see that Rose did indeed move on and had children and grandchildren, hence why Lizzy is there. But when Rose dies (or dreams) by the very end of the motion picture, we see that she wanders back to the Titanic in all its glory and see Jack waiting for her at the clock on top of the staircase (much like Aerith waiting for Cloud's return in which she is waiting for him in the place where he battled Zephiroth) and she is reunited with her true love, Jack Dawson. Now that's what I call a happy ending. Although, James Cameron never specified this as Rose dying, mainly because he wanted to leave that to the imagination of the audience. In fact, when I first saw the film, I thought Rose was just dreaming, whereas other people view it as her going to a Titanic Heaven. Point is that Cloud could possibly move on to Tifa, but Aerith is his true love.

Who is the better couple? Cloud/Aerith or Cloud/Tifa.

First off, this question merely is asks which couple does the reader prefer. And I don't appreciate CloTi fans instantly jumping at the chance to say Cloud and Tifa and coming up with a bunch of facts (or delusions) why Cloud and Tifa may be the better couple. You can't prove an opinion, but you can certainly explain why you like it.

The game/movie never comes out and tell you that Cloud and Tifa were a couple, mainly because they were just really good friends, whereas many things such as advertisements, the game itself, Kingdom Hearts, etc, hints at Cloud and Aerith being the intended couple for FF. I don't think its a good idea to ever listen to what the writers and producers have to say about it, because they'll be somewhat vague about it, and fans will be left to take things out of context. But in many cases, the visual designers, writers, and producers also hint at Aerith and Cloud with simple designs.

Then, there's the commercial, "A love that could never be." Need I say more?

Aerith, is the greatest Final Fantasy character, at least to me.

She is smart, outgoing, innocent, yet so intellectual at the same time. She has that happiness that I had never seen till her, and she is just in a game! She is beautiful, and so strong both mentally and physically. People who say she is weak IS A NOOB!

Clorith is my life, I don't feel like writing a long paragraph since its 11p.m. at the momment but I have loved Cloud/Aerith since I was 7 and ten years later I love them even more!

what pinkpower said is so true for me... whenever I think of Tifa and CLoud ending up together, I just shake my head saying, "they won't be too happy with each other..." they both keep something inside of them at times, never fuLLy expressing themseLves to each other... at Least, that's what i kinda saw in AC... sometimes I wonder, do they both know each other weLL to be abLe to start a reLationship? Tifa can uses too much force... the way she taLked, or shouLd i say forced, CLoud into heLping save the chiLdren in AC, which was shouting at him, and the part in KH2 where she punched the waLL in finding CLoud... man, am i even making any sense? I will be completely honest, I do not like Cloti at all. I hate it if you will.

Cloud may have had a crush on Tifa when they were kids but when he left those feelings completely went away. Tifa ignored Cloud, and got him in trouble. When he leaves she starts noticing him? Sorry hun, it doesn't work that way. She had her chance and she blew it, 'nough said.

Tifa ticks me off sometimes I will say, her outfits in CC and FFVII make me want to punch a wall ( XD JK! lol Im not going to punch a wall like Teef O_o ) Nah, but her outfits are too revealing which was what I didnt like the first time I saw her 10 years ago. I honestly didnt like her at all when I was 7 but now that I'm older I do like Tifa, shes cool, just with Cloud I get all twitchy and stuff, lol (not really twitchy lol O_o)

Cloud see's Tifa as a friend, or a sister. Nothing more, they would not be happy together at all. They always argue, Tifa wants to change Cloud where as, Aerith finds Coud charming for him being him. Yes, Aerith loved Zack first but it was two teenagers flirting with each other, Aerith even said she loved Cloud far more then she loved Zack.
