Plot: (I edited out some comments for brevity) Set after the end of the series. Technically it's romance. Three years after her brother's death, Sayu joins the NPA in the steps of her brother, and marries Matsuda some undetermined amount of time later. They have a child. When the child is one-year-old, Matsuda dies in the line of duty. When the child is six, a new Kira arrives in Japan-it appears Ryuk was bored yet again and dropped another notebook after gaining it from another Shinigami. Near (L) enlists in the NPA's help, including Sayu. She wouldn't like him at first until somehow Near and her child meet, and Near enjoys playing with toys and stuff anyway, so she's endeared by how well Near and her kid get along.

Plot:

Raito his captured by JigSaw (sort of a cross over with Saw, but nothing from the movies has to be mentioned, it's just that sort of killer) and and the voicerecorder says something about him 'Having a brilliant mind, and not appreciating what he's been given by looking down on others and thinking life is boring. Now he's got to use the mind he hold in such high regard to live' so the task he has to do must be genius worthy. But Raito will get out alive, and when he does, he goes to the cops. L's working on the case, of course, and interviews Raito about his case over the computer. Raito says that he's pretty sure JigSaw will come after him again. L asks why, and Raito responds with something to the affect of 'Because I didn't learn the lesson he wanted me to. I still don't cherish my life.' Then of course, Raito is taken onto the case as an asset as well as for his protection. It would be cool if there were LxRaito yaoi, but I think it would be a great story without that too.

Plot:

When she was a toddler, Sayu got into an accident which was blamed on Raito, who, as the older one and the genius, should have been more responsible. Angrily Raito thought: 'If being a genius gets me into trouble, then I won't be one anymore!' Thinking like this he hid his intelligence from the world, while privately he learns and studies to allevate his boredom. Years later, while in High School, he finds a riddle-booklet on his way home and, bored, he solves every riddle in it, startled to find that they're challenging. In it there's the instruction that, in case every riddle is solved correctly, it could be sent to an adress and some kind of organisation would send another booklet back. Interested Raito sends the riddles he solved and, true to their word, the organisation sends back the next volume with the same instruction in it. What the genius doesn't know, though, is that the riddles he innocently solves are codes the government uses and that the organisation that 'kindly' keeps him from getting bored, are a criminal organisation called the Shinigami. Encryptor L is startled that more and more government codes are being broken (some of them being his own) and starts to investigate. A captured member of the Shinigami talks and so L hears about 'Kira', the decoder of the Shinigami, whose identity is unknown to everyone. Furious, the government decides to put a bounty on Kira's head, despite L's protests and unknown to Raito, who is growing more and more suspicios about the organisation, his facade of being a normal boy could very well save his life as L and the government race to find out Kira's identity first.(Pairing:LxRaito)

EPA: Chapter by chapter. I usually have bursts of inspiration, so sometimes it will be fast and other times slow. I hjave no idea how long this is going to be so I don't know when I'll finish. I won't be near computers very often during the last two weeks of July so that will most likely be a slow time.

Plot: Sort of AU, I just want Matt and Mello to meet when their 16 or older. Basically, Matt falls head over heels in love with a girl. Which scares him, since he's never felt this way before. What scares him more is that it turns out -she's a boy! What scares him even more is that that little fact doesn't make his feelings for Mello go away. A story about Matt coming to terms with being in love with a boy (I don't care if you make him gay, although I'm under the opinion he's bisexual) and soon after trying to win Mello's heart. And Mello's...Mello, and it's not going to be that easy. The other characters are you're to play around with, if you want. MattxMello, of course, in that order (seme/uke)...that's it. ^ ^

EPA: Chapter by chapter, I dunno how long it will take for the first chapter to come up but I'm really inspired to write this so hopefully soon. After that I'll aim for monthly updates but that is definatley not a guarantee, I tend to get random writers blocks sometimes and life also tend to get hectic from time to time but I will aim for monthly.

Plot: When a bored Raito hears about a virtual reality game that plays in the sixteenth century of England he doesn’t think much of it, until he meets a sleazy gamer called Ryuuk, who had a hand in creating it. Ryuuk was shunned after some time, though, since the rest of the creators didn’t agree with his version of amusing/entertaining. Seeing the perfect opportunity to get said entertainment, he gives Raito a program called Death Note, with which the genius can create any character he wants to, without him being registered as a gamer, which means perfect anonymity and the opportunity to do everything he wants to, without the ‘Watchers’, the ones who keep order in this virtual reality, knowing about it.

"Real" Plot:Light, our perfect student, works at a club as a stripper/dancer by night, and student and [exercise] pole dancing instructor by day. Sound interesting, ne? Let's also say that Lawliet needs a job and happens to have good dancing skills, might come with knowing capoeira, and his so-called friend refers him to the manager of the club Light works in... Hence where 'let the onion layer peeling commence.' This fic will mainly be weird incidents between Light and Lawliet, no romance between them right away... I'm pretty sure they won't get along THAT well. But yeah. It's time to discover and prettier L [Eru-chan]. Rating: M Pairing: LightxL or LxLightxL Notes: I chose L’s name to be ‘Lawliet Darcy’, making his real last name his first name in the story. Plot: The summary as I imagined: A week before Raito finds the Death Note, he’s diagnosed with cancer. “Can you change the world in a year?” “I don’t know. But I can sure die trying.” Therefore, Raito has a fatal form of cancer (Go crazy on the type. I don’t care. Brain cancer would be ironic, though) and only has a year to live. So why NOT try to leave the a paradise of sorts behind him? So he becomes Kira, L gets involved…of course, L might have a softer perspective on Raito’s case, if he were dying of cancer. And of course, the confinement would be tough to put Raito in, so think about how the cancer would affect the plot and stuff, aside from the Yaoi. ^ ~

EPA: Hopefully before Christmas, but given this is my GCSE year, that may not happen. Evil teachers and their evil homeworks...

Plot: Sort of a crossover with Battle Royale, only the Battle isn't government-backed- it's run by a group of criminals, and it's a one-off. Light Yagami's class is picked by the group to fight it out on a lone island. After 72 hours, there can only be one survivor, and if there is more, they will all be killed. At least that's what the criminals tell them. In reality, they want no survivors- the collars around the students' necks will all explode at start of the 73rd hour, although nobody outside the criminal group is informed of the rule. After the class' kidnapping, a message is sent to Interpol, taunting Chief Inspector Yagami in particular, and every six hours after the game begins, Interpol is sent another message with the list of the dead and audio clips of the death taken from the recorders on the collars. L decides to take on the case, and it's a race to find the island and stop the game before all the children are killed.

EPA: Hell if I know, but this is right up my alley. I'm so far in this alley, I'm the one robbing the people coming in. This is mine now, yes indeed, and I'm going to do evil things with it. Muah-frickin-ha, people, for mine is an evil laugh. I plan on talking it over with the Author, writing it on the side, and then posting it all at once. Eventually. (reads summary again) Soon. Then a vicious serial killer escapes prison, and when he ends up in Japan Light finds himself forced to collaborate with the shady detective L. The relationship does not start well, but after a while Raito starts to wonder if they have so very little in common after all... LxRaito

Plot: Light is scared to death. He was just walking home from school one day, when all of a sudden everything went black at the train crossing. Now he’s in some twisted dimension where he’s guaranteed to go insane.

What really happened to poor Light is that he died. But his death was different from most. A misfortune incarnate named Beyond Birthday had taken an immense interest with Light, interacting with him in non-recallable dreams. When Ryuk, the reaper, came to take his soul, he found it already gone, a bloody gothic “B” in its place.

Poor, confused Light awakes in an eerie room with hundreds of dolls, many broken, mutilated, evil looking. One particularly evil doll turns out to be alive, calling itself “Near”, and left. Light then meets the other sinister beings of the place one by one, becoming well acquainted with the sinister L, who confuses him. This is “Life” and that was “Death”? What’s he talking about?! But Light get’s no chance to ponder his predicament or why he’s there when the hellish torture commences. Whenever he dies or is eaten, his flesh gone, he wakes up whole again the next day. He’s starting to talk to himself, seeing a red-eyed, blood covered demon in mirrors. But when he sees someone similar to L appear in his dreams, explaining everything, that they wanted B actually, the hell gets a lot more hectic.

Because of Near’s absence, Mello becomes L’s heir. But the emotional blonde soon finds out that he just can’t handle the pressure. When the Kira case begins to unfold, Mello and L seek the help of Near to complete the trio. But Near’s personality has changed. He seems pretty much like a normal teen. When he discovers that M and L suspect Raito as Kira, will Near turn and betray his new brother…or will he betray L?

Plot: "Can you accept a miracle that you didn't even wish for? Well, no matter whether you can or not, I have returned your life to you and thus you will do my bidding."

One day a drunk Light sees someone getting mugged and intervenes - unfortunately for him, he manages to annoy both the mugger and the one being mugged to the point where the victim takes the gun out of the attacker's hands and shoots and kills him.

Since he never really liked his life anyway and the afterlife looks interesting (he can see it already from a quickly closing distance) and promising he doesn't really care that he was killed, not sparing his family more than a fleeting thought.

It's just his luck then, that the King of the Shinigami grabs him just as he was about to enter Paradise and stuffs him back into his body since he needs a lacky to do something for him on earth.

Light is understandably angry (and the mugger and muggee who had apparently befriended each other and had been talking about what to do with his corpse were understandably freaked out) when the King thells him that Light needs to find, capture and return 13 rogue Shinigami, that would soon start wreak havoc on the world, to him.

Since he practically returned from the dead, Light doesn't have a heartbeat, he doesn't need to breathe, doesn't feel pain and he has incredible healing abilities (even a limb can grow back as the King demonstrates) in addition to his new and nifty ability to see the Shinigami he is supposed to hunt.

Annoyed that he now had to do what the King said and upset at having to wait until finally getting into Paradise, Light is following the order he had gotten, but you can bet that he is struggling every step of the way, together with finding a way to off himself permanently...

EPA: Hm...I think I'll try to get half of this written, and begin posting in chapters while I write the rest. About...thirteen chapters, I think - one for each pf the shinigami.

Plot: After Light realises that the Death Note is real and has killed his second criminal he is overwhelmed by guilt he writes himself a note about the Death Note and surrenders the Death Note to Ryuk. After writing a short note to his parents that he is leaving he runs away and starts to take on a small cases of detective work under the name Kira as a constant reminder that he has killed people and why he is doing what he is. A few years later Light is now living comfortably and taking on more challenging cases but not big enough to draw attention to himself. Light was not prepared for the Death Note to be given to someone else but now with the sudden increase in mysterious deaths Light realises that there is a new killer on the loose and this one doesn't have a concience to stop them. Despite his knowledge of how this person also dubbed 'Kira' kills Light refuses to go to the police after convincing himself he would just be ignored and turned away.

Curious about the disappearance of Japanese prodigy Light Yagami, L has spent most of his free time puzzeling over why Light ran away and where to. When the mysterious deaths of criminals start occuring all over the world L finds the reason for Light Yagami's disappeance a few years ago. More determined than ever to find Light who know may just be the key to solving this case; L wasn't prepared for what he would find or the effect this one person would have on the rest of his life.

Plot: A bored Light decides to go onto a chat site for the first time but when he nearly gives up all hope hope of intelligent conversation he is invited to join one by a person called Ryuuzaki. Thinking that the conversation anonymous he starts to talk to talk to 'Ryuzaki' about everything. What Light didn't know though was that he was actually talking to the world's greatest detective and he has him interested. Not long after Light meets a strange older man who goes by the name Ryuga Hideki and seems to know just about everything about him. Ryuuga also sounded scarily like Ryuuzaki and realising the connection between the two Light fully discovers the dangers of on-line chat rooms. Light is now only certain of three things:

- One, Ryuuzaki/Ryuuga is obsessed with him.

- Two, he knows everything about Light... even stuff Light didn't know himself

and

- Three, this guy is more intelligent than anyone Light has ever known.

What can Light do to get rid of such a person and when the time comes will he want to...

Probably just a One-Shot, unless the author wants to continue it. Raito and L are friends. Just friends, (despite L's best efforts) and Raito is in denial. Too bad he pisses Mello off. So Mello extracts revenge -namely spiking Raito's food/drink at a restaurant with aphrodisiacs. Of course, they start to have affect, Raito starts to feel 'sick' and...lemon. How it gets there is up to you. But I want a LxRaito (in that order!) lemon. :P So yeah. 'Tis all.

Plot: A human who used the death notecan neither go to heaven or hell Raito knew that all along. what he didnt expect was now that he was dead, he's back to his innocent self (before picking up the death note) and everything that happened after the deathnote is something he remembers in a third person perspective. Agonizing over all the people he killed, feeling guilty for killing people he considered friends, the genius spends all his time as a ghost, unable to affect the mortal world, unable to do anything. Years later after drifting through the world and learning how to touch and move things, He meets a child, a small boy, with dark unruly hair and dark, wide eyes. Recognising the small child as L, Raito decides to stay with the small genius to protect him. What he didn't expect was, that the small boy was able to see him, and as he grows older, 'L' grows more protective of his 'guardian angel.'

EPA: I want to write this out, atleast a good way through before I post the first chapter, but I won't complete it before getting the first chapter up.

Plot: One day, when Light is bored, he stumbles across an internet site called Death Note and in which frustrated, angry and hurt people jokingly think up ways to kill people that annoy them, that wronged them and that they plain don't like.

Light is bitterly amused by the kind of things that 'upstanding, honest citizens' do in their free-time, when he comes across a rather serious post in which a guard in a jail talks about how a serial-rapist was going to be released soon and how they would love to kill the criminal.

Despite himself he empathises with the guard and gives a comment to the post in which he asks for more information and then devises a plot that could kill the criminal without repercussions for the one doing it.

He thinks that it's only a way to pass the time and maybe help the guard relieve frustration, so he is shocked when some time later he hears about the death of a serial-rapist when watching the news and when he goes back to the site to make sure it has nothing to do with him, he finds a comment directed at him in which the guard thanks him for the advice.

Feeling sick, Light erases every trace of himself from the site, not wanting to get caught up in anything (despite his feelings of guilt), when he gets a mail from the owner of the site, who found out his name and where he lived and who tries to blackmail Light into making the site secure and devising plots for murders.

Light knows he can't do that when, after a second look at the site, he notices that most of the victims are innocent and refuses to do it. The owner isn't very pleased with that however and so Light and Sayu are kidnapped and he is again blackmailed into plotting murder, this time with the life of his sister on the line.

The only thing he can do now is obey, leave little hints for the detectives who take the case and hope that they will be able to figure out what he is trying to say.

It is just his luck then, that the best detective in the world has decided to take an interest in the sudden string of unsolveable murders that happen in Japan (and some other parts of the world, though mostly Japan).

Restrictions: None really, though I'd like its title to be 'Mastermind' or something like that.

Plot: Sayu Yagami has always resented her older brother. He's handsome, while she's cute-ish average. He's a genius, while she has problems with equations. He's the 'perfect child', while Sayu is always getting into trouble in some way.

This all changes, however, when Sayu discovers the Death Note. Scared at first, the young girl soon discovers she can make the world a better place with it. She can adhere to her father's teachings, and keep her mother safe from criminals. As for Light, Sayu can finally get rid of him. Her older brother will be a sacrifice to keep Kira safe from the police.

Light may be more intelligent than Sayu, but she has an innocent smile which could prove to be more deadly than Light could take. However, L soons starts to take an interest in her older brother, which could ruin her plans...or help her to eliminate the detective once and for all.

EPA: I'll be writing this as chapter by chapter. I have no idea how long it'll be or when it'll be published, since I will work on it as a side-fic. The author is ok with this.

Plot: After his death, Light Yagami wakes up to find himself back in his house, a week before he first found the Death Note. Naturally this confuses him, but he considers it a stroke of luck that he can do everything all over again. This time he plans to eliminate Near, Watari, and L straight off, knowing their names and faces. However, the Death Note does not drop at the appointed time. Three days later criminals start getting killed via heart attacks, but Light Yagami is not doing it this time. This confuses the genius further. One night, a rush of memories comes to him. Memories of alternate timelines in which he has either been Kira or tried to capture Kira. However, they all end the same way: with his demise, and L's death as well.

Realizing he has been caught in this endless time loop, Light Yagami now seeks to break it at any cost. The next day he is contacted by L, who confesses that memories of the other timelines have been brought back to him as well. Working somewhat reluctently together, the two attempt to find the current Kira and end the cycle before they both die. However, Kira is closer than they think, and another individual will make sure the cycle continues...

Restrictions: No yaoi whatsoever, please. The current Kira can be chosen by the author, and can be a Canon character or OC. The ending is also for the author to decide. The minimum rating must be T at best. Romance is allowed so long as their is no yaoi.
