Plot: Light has ripped his pants. Yes, Ripped them. Right along the inside of his thigh, and he's either completely oblivious, or just trying to drive L insane. Regardless, the detective has noticed and is stuck at the teen's side for the next eight work hours until he either points it out to Light, or jumps him. Whichever happens first, is up to you.

Restrictions: Lemons are welcome. Then again, so is total Light Humiliation. This can be a fun-bunny( L embarasses Light in front of the team) or a tension-bunny (L keeps his mouth shut and eventually snaps, dragging the teen to a closet). Plot: Light Yagami was recently, and what he thinks in a rather unfair manner, changed into a vampire. Now stuck in a predicament he did not foresee Light gets his whole village, family included, to believe him ill and for awhile this works. Until another villager, Aizawa, sees through his lies and reveals him to the whole entirety of the village one night. Now on the run Light is stuck with the two vampires Mikami, and Misa along with two demons Rem and Ryuk. But even more upsetting than this whole new mess Light learns his own village and family has set the greatest hunter in existence on his tail. They've sent L.

L, the greatest hunter of the supernatural in existence, has never had a case as odd as that of Light Yagami. Instead of killing the vampire the village pays him off to capture Light. Apparently they want to say their goodbyes, along with get some information on how he was changed, before he dies. But really it's all making things rather complicated for L, however, with the hefty sum the whole village is paying L captures Light. But after L captures Light (who gave him one heck of a time trying to capture him) and they begin their journey back to the village L truly gets to know Light, whom he found irritating but fascinating with his methods of escape. Still, as he gets to know Light in real life he finds him to be even more irritating and fascinating than before. So as they days tick down to their arrival to the village L has a vampires life to consider and Light has to consider his escape...and all things considered it was a rather messy affair.

(I have more details if you would want to hear them, like on Light's "type" of vampirism, the attributes and powers and such. Or even how L keeps him restrained. But you can totally use your own ideas for those things, if you want.)

Plot: B is Raito's adopted brother, and they are very close. Then B finds out he has a twin brother that was adopted by someone else -and decides he wants to find him, to see his his 'eyes' are hereditary. Raito accompanies him to England (where his brother was adopted by Quillish Whammy) and there they meet L, B's twin brother. After that, I want there to be some LxRaito and I would really, really like some oneside BxRaito (meaning B wants Raito) because I think that would establish the L-hatred that B needs to have for him to be Beyond, you know? Anything else is up to you, any other aspect of the plot. Like if L is still a detective and such.

Plot: Light, an angel, is sent to earth as the guardian of L. The others say he values human lives to little, and as such needs to learn to treasure the delicate, flickering life that is that of a human. Miffed Light has no choice but to comply, though after spending some time with L he's pretty sure they weren't thinking when they picked the human he was to look after. Still, as time passes by Light finds himself amused by L's complexities and how completely and utterly brilliant the human is. But Light soon finds himself stuck in a predicament not foreseen, a guardian angel exists to make sure that a human lives till their predestined time of death, or until they have finished the tasks destiny has set before them. So as Light's superiors inform Light of L's time and form of death Light finds he has to make a choice. One, to return to his boring life as an angel, or two to defy his orders and make sure L lives...and become a fallen angel for his defiance.

Every Shinigami has the ability to change their form into one resembling a human (if you ignore the sharp teeth and strange eye-colour)– in that form they can even control their invisibility. Ryuuk never had a reason to change his form, but after he threw his Death Note into the human world and meets Yagami Raito, he grows curious about how he could mess with the teen, were he a ‘human’.

Raito follows the path that is familiar to us all, but when his relationship with the Shinigami following him progresses to something physical, the end could be something that nobody expected.

In the meantime, L tries to find out who Raito’s friend is, who always shows up and vanishes again and who doesn’t seem to even exist.

Plot: MikamixRaito

Ever since he has lost several cases as an attorney, Mikami stopped believing in a just god.

Or at least he did until he meets the teenager Yagami Raito, a witness in a murder case, who – with his statement - somehow manages to get a murderer convicted, who would have been let go otherwise.

Very impressed he talks to him and asks if Raito was interested in helping the lawyer with several cases – the teen accepts and they start to work together, but slowly Mikami starts to grow obsessed with the younger one, to the point where he calls him ‘God’.

At first Raito is flattered, but slowly he grows more and more uneasy as he gets the feeling that Mikami stalks him.

He ignores it, but one time his mother witnesses one of their conversations and she asks him to stop seeing the older one. Raito explains the situation to Mikami and so they start to meet in secret and all goes well, until Raito is attacked by the serial killer both of them are investigating.

He survives, but is now in the hospital in a coma, which infuriates Mikami, who vows to make the perpetrator pay.

Plot: One rule in the Death Note was different – instead of every pen/pencil/writing utensil/everything working on it, the thing the names have to be written in is blood. Specifically the blood of the owner. At first Light is even more sceptical than he was originally, but, thinking it couldn’t hurt to try it once, he uses his blood and it works.

How will Light be able to hide his activities when he has to use his blood as ink (which will make him feel even more as a martyr)? Can he hide the cuts on his body (which he uses to gather blood), or will his family find out and send him to a psychiatrist to stop his ‘cutting’? Or maybe L will find out his ‘unhealthy habit’ first and use it against him?

(It can be a story with or without pairings, though if it's one with pairings, LxLight would be preferred)

Plot: For many generations, vampires and werewolves warred against each other. Also there are two different types of vampires and werewolves, Pures and Nonpures. Pures are born a fully blooded vampire or werewolf and are limited in numbers. Nonpures aren’t. They are usually bitten or scratched by a werewolf or vampire.

In the story, it surrounds a group of Pure vampires and a group of Pure werewolves. The vampires are four college students who live together in an old mansion. They are Raito, the leader, Mikami, the second in command, Misa, and Takada, two followers. While out in public in his human guise, he notices the amount of evil that humans are succumbed to and decides to do something about it. He rounds up his fellow vampires to do some justice by flying at night in their true forms, which look like a humanoid vampire bat, drinking the blood of criminals and they succeed.

Raito decides to celebrate his success by stopping at a cafe where he meets a very interesting employee there named Ryuuzaki. The two become friends easily. But little does Raito know that Ryuuzaki is his number one enemy, a werewolf. Ryuuzaki lives with four other werewolves named, Mello, Near, and Matt, Ryuuzaki being the alpha. Every night, the pack transforms and goes out to hunt, because if they don't eat fresh meat at least once a day, their wolf side can go berserk and crave human flesh or even their own kind. In the meantime, Raito and Ryuuzaki get closer each day and feelings become stronger. Each of the groups get suspicious that their leader is falling for a human, which is looked down upon in the supernatural society. Eventually, Raito and Ryuuzaki secretly discover their identities on accident and become completely broken about being in love with the enemy.

I would love this story to be RaitoxRyuuzaki but I guess it doesn't matter whose seme and uke. You could throw some MattxMello in too if you want.

After a while, whenever Light gets emotional, Kira gets through- the first instance being the infamous Lind L. Tailor broadcast. It gets to a point where, when Light gives himself up for capture, Kira is almost totally the dominant force in his mind. When Light touches the Note again in the helicopter, he is driven out of his own body by the spirit, now a demon, fuelled by the rage within Higuchi. But Light hasn't given up yet... Plot:

When a bored Raito hears about a virtual reality game that plays in the sixteenth century of England he doesn’t think much of it, until he meets a sleazy gamer called Ryuuk, who had a hand in creating it.

Ryuuk was shunned after some time, though, since the rest of the creators didn’t agree with his version of amusing/entertaining. Seeing the perfect opportunity to get said entertainment, he gives Raito a program called Death Note, with which the genius can create any character he wants to, without him being registered as a gamer, which means perfect anonymity and the opportunity to do everything he wants to, without the ‘Watchers’, the ones who keep order in this virtual reality, knowing about it.

Amused Raito creates his own character, with Ryuuk as demon-like ghost only visible to him (with another program) beside him. He lives there for a while and starts to get bored, when he hears that the head of the ‘Watchers’ is a genius beyond compare. Curious he investigates a little and after some time, he decides to challenge the man – by going on a killing-spree.

Challenging the man called L through his killings, he starts a game that keeps both L and Raito occupied for quite some time, until Raito starts to feel the urge to kill even in the real reality and, frightened by the thought of killing a real person, he turns to L, who is surprised that the one called Kira in the virtual world turns to him. They both start to wonder about the real purpose of this world, when they find that they’re getting more and more influenced by the game to the point where it’s difficult to distinguish between reality and fiction – made even more difficult for Raito, when some of his ‘victims’ die in the real world and his mind is ripped apart with guilt.

Plot: This is heavily inspired by the Happening movie. In a small rural town the population suddenly begins depleting by horrible means: the residents spontaneously kill themselves any way they find convenient. Near moves in to investigate and finds that those still alive there are no longer acting human - they behave with open hostility toward him and seem to have no control over their actions. Near has the people forcibly arrested to 'question' them, and finds that all of them end up dying of heart attacks within a few days of arriving at the prison. Suspecting foul play, Near enlists the investigation skills of the one man he always acknowledged as his equal: the convicted serial killer Yagami Raito. I don't like Yaoi (don't hit me), but if you find a way to put it in there I don't mind so much.

Plot: Death Note The Dark Knight crossover (oh no). Actually post-TDK, and post-Kira case. Commissioner Gordon, after much goading and persuasion by the Mayor, reluctantly approaches the elite detective L to catch Gotham's dark knight 'pro bono'. L, intrigued by the Caped Crusader's persona, or perhaps his skewed perception of justice, agrees. Whilst uncovering the vast network of corruption that Gotham City is structured upon, including suspicions about the death of the former DA Harvey Dent, a certain clown-faced serial killer becomes alert to L's presence...and is furious. With the Joker's bait for the detective (delivered in bodybags) on one hand, and the case to arrest The Bat on the other, L has no choice but to call in for backup: his prodigies, Near, Mello, and Matt.

Restrictions: I've got nothing against violence; go right ahead, take the gore as far as you want, or not. I've got nothing against yaoi, either, although I'm not exactly sure how you can fit a full-blown smex scene in this plot. That being said, nothing beyond implied boyxboy, and maybe some shounen-ai. If, however, you've got relevant, well-written lemons, feel free to put them in.

When L returns to Japan and starts taking up B's attention, Raito becomes jealous. Could this mysterious black notebook help shift B's interest back to him? Plot: Multichapter fic. As in canon, Light remembers that he has memories of Penber and Misora. Not allowing himself to fall victim to endless denial as he does in canon, however, Light analyzes the situation objectively and concludes that he must have been Kira. Not wanting to let his own plans come to completion, but also not wanting to die (I don't think even memoryloss!Light is that honourable), Light runs away, to Europe I think. L, realizing that Light's leaving is as good as a confession, is put to the chase - and here you have the opportunity to do some really fun plotting, as Light and L try to outwit each other from a distance...if Light's in Europe, for example, he can jump between countries easily if he's careful and clever...Eventually, however, L finds Light, and from there the angsty yaoi is yours to create! And there's always the option of reintroducing the Death Note at some point and giving Light his memories/Kira persona back, make things even more interesting...The ending's up to you, though I guess I'd prefer it not be too unhappy.

Restrictions: I'd really like lemons...but if that's not your thing, I could survive without 'em. I just want someone enthusiastic about the story!

When the Kira killings begin, he starts to conduct his own investigation into the murders and finds that all the evidence is pointing towards the mysterious detective 'R'. But 'R' has problems on his own- and who better to pin the murders on than a reclusive schoolboy genius? Soichiro finds himself torn between his son and his boss as the two battle it out head-to-head, but in the end there can only be one winner. Slash is possible, but not a requirement.

The fact that five years ago he lost his hearing doesn't help. One day, however his father gives him the most intricate, confounding score he's ever seen saying a coworker wrote it. The coworker, of course is super-detective L. Light regains some faith in music and plays the piece at his next concert in Prague where L is solving an extremely tough case revolving around the murder of several members of the Prague Orchestra. L and Light, of course, meet and there is an attraction as Light has never met someone so intelligent and neither has L. And of course, Light is targeted by the serial killer who kidnaps him. I

I would like the ending to be sort of sad, but no character death.

Restrictions: Mostly anything goes. K+ from M. No OOC or uber-ukes. No MAJOR OCs (small ones are fine, like naming the waitress. Getting into a paragraph about how the waitress 'feels' is not so good). Lemons are nice, but only if done well.

For Light does not seem to able to run far enough but soon begins to enjoy the chase as much as L. But in the end will he escape or will Light forfeit himself to L.

Plot: In the year 2003 the world was taken by storm when the supernatural “God” Kira took over. Governments fell to his will as him and his fellow Kiras, who all had the same mysterious killing powers, destroyed in the name of Justice. The world was happy for a bit, until several natural disasters and depressions happened to make the world fall in on itself.

Our story begins with L Lawliet, an 11-year-old boy who lives in the large slums of Winchester. Winchester was the location of Kira’s final battle for power against a rebellion. Practically half the world was a slum in the current economical misery. One day L discovers a group of genius children in the Underground, whose orphanage was destroyed in the battle. They formed an intelligent children rebellion, known as Wammy, after the orphanage and their dead caretaker, who was the head of the rebellion.

L soon rises in the ranks of the helpful, Anti-Kira organization made of children, even gaining Mello and Near’s respect. He earns the name of L at age 14, known throughout the slums of the world as the one who would destroy Kira, for he had been solving crime and saving lives while Kira lounged in Japan, killing criminals as always. Finally, when Wammy becomes large enough, they decide to strike.

I would have to heavily discuss with the Writer on this. Kira doesn’t kill with a Death Note, but I have no clue what, since I want a war-like scene. In addition, there will be plenty of character death and a sad ending, so be prepared for the heartbreaking demands.

Plot: It’s always been a burning question in my head: What if Namikawa got the Death Note rather than Higuchi? I’ve always felt a fondness for the minor character Reiji Namikawa. I have no set plot for this, except for the fact that Namikawa gets the Death Note and messes the whole plot up.

Here’s a couple questions the Writer may want to think about. Does Namikawa kill for the profit of Yotsuba? Would he fall for Matsuda’s trick? Would Light get the notebook back? What happens with the other characters, such as Mikami, Mello, and Near? Remember, he’s the smartest guy in Yotsuba who tricked Light. Also, Namikawa or Higuchi Rem would still show Misa who the Third Kira is. But Namikawa doesn’t lust for Misa, so wouldn’t that effect the plot?

You decide the twists and turns. It’d be entertaining if somehow it develops into a yaoi, such as NamikawaxLight or even NamikawaxMikami, which would be interesting to see. It’ll also be interesting to see how much you can mess with the plot, which characters you make die, and how this all ends.

Restrictions: Try to keep it away from M, even if you decide to make it a yaoi. Also, since it's a rabbit, that means everyone can have a go. BUT, they all need to be different. Try to put some variety if you see another Namikawa got the Death Note story.

Plot: Light Yagami wasn’t just a perfect highschooler with a love for justice and an outgoing personality. No, before he was almost a completely different person.

Light Yagami had a twin, Dark Yagami. Dark was older than Light, and protected him in every way. He had a string loving for justice himself, but it was so powerful that often when he spotted kids bullying little Light he’d send them to the nurses’ office. Despite his brother’s lack of sanity, he always admired and loved the sinister looking sibling with his auburn, nearly red, hair and seemingly crimson eyes. He taught Light everything, at least until they were seven. The two were both geniuses, but Light couldn’t understand when Dark made him promise that, no matter what, that he would always help Dark. Dark dies the next day from an unnatural heart attack.

When Light finds the Death Note 10 years later, he begins seeing the ghost of his twin, which drives him to become Kira. At times his younger mind resurfaces and does everything the boy wants him to. However, Ryuk says he never saw Dark. Was it a ghost or a hallucination? Has Light cracked? Things only get more confusing when L joins the scene. Where Light feels a stirring affection, Dark seethes in hatred.

Cliché names and circumstances, I know. And a far too long explanation. Basically, Light falls for L along the course of Death Note with Dark being the Kira. What happens when he gets rid of the Death Note and gets it back? What does Dark really want? Will L die? What exactly is this apparation Light keeps seeing? Your decisions. ...I way overdid this whole plot summary…

Restrictions: If you put a lemon, make it MUCH later in the story. Rather than mindless sex, there should be lots of character and plot development. Their relationship builds very slowly. Moreover, I highly doubt L, the social recluse, would randomly jump Light.

Plot: Mello had been gone from Wammy’s for a year now, but Matt didn’t expect what would happen in that small time frame. Rushing to America, he finds the now Mafia member Mello missing. Sure, he’s found, but not without a few mental breakdowns from his best friend. He was tortured to near death when they found him. After seeing how…different, how gentle and scared Mello had become, Matt decided to take his place. He would do anything to protect what used to be his fortress.

All inspired when I imagined Matt being the one with a gun at Near’s head rather than Mello. Lemons are completely optional, though I have a feeling that Mello should have been raped as well to make the series longer. Involves a Mello-esque Matt and a quiet, reclusive Mello. I’m veering that they both die without fully accomplishing their love in the end. I do love tragedy.

Restrictions: Stay on the original plot of Death Note as much as possible, and slide in a couple parts from Mello and Light’s point of view. Maybe even Soichiro in the explosion scene. Also, it’s your choice whether to make Mello have flashbacks, have him explain, or just do vague references.

Project Death note is a computer that can only really become active with the presence of its creator.

Plot: Sort of a crossover with Battle Royale, only the Battle isn't government-backed- it's run by a group of criminals, and it's a one-off. Light Yagami's class is picked by the group to fight it out on a lone island. After 72 hours, there can only be one survivor, and if there is more, they will all be killed. At least that's what the criminals tell them. In reality, they want no survivors- the collars around the students' necks will all explode at start of the 73rd hour, although nobody outside the criminal group is informed of the rule. After the class' kidnapping, a message is sent to Interpol, taunting Chief Inspector Yagami in particular, and every six hours after the game begins, Interpol is sent another message with the list of the dead and audio clips of the death taken from the recorders on the collars. L decides to take on the case, and it's a race to find the island and stop the game before all the children are killed.

Restrictions: None- this is Battle Royale, after all.

Light Yagami was your normal 23-year-old detective, who thought life was incredibly dull. One day he stumbles across Ryuk, and the chaos begins. Finding Light to be compatible, he drugs the boy and injects the Death Note, making their first Kira. The drug reacted strange to Light, though. Rather than changing his personality totally, it became something like Jekyll and Hyde with Kira and Light. Kira, a bloodthirsty sadist, was soon employed as a hitman for hire, and Ryuk was sent to watch Kira’s progress in secret.

When L learns of mysterious and organized murders in Japan, he immediately sets out on the case, his prime suspect soon becoming Light Yagami. As the suspicion narrows, he encounters Light, developing unwanted affections. Light is unaware, Ryuk is amused at the situation, L is baffled, and even more Kiras are popping up over Japan. What’s going on?!

Restrictions: None. Nevertheless, I would like it if you include other DN characters, trying to fit them in with this situation, such as Misa, Mikami, Near, Mello, and others. Happy ending, sad ending, whatever you want.

And why did he feel that it was his fault?

Near’s fears begin to grow real when a deaf boy named Lawliet appears at Wammy’s, bearing a striking resemblance to the deceased detective according to Roger. He goes into a panic when Lidner reports in one day saying she found a young boy who looked eerily like Mello in the New York alleyways, seemingly mute. Anticipating the next sign, Near has a mental breakdown on seeing a familiar auburn-haired killer as a blind boy in his room.

Gathering the three, the albino starts to have dreams that will indicate the end of the life on Earth. Putting together the puzzle pieces and learning about these memory-less reincarnations who all have a mysterious grudge, time is running out to stop a cataclysmic series of events.

Restrictions: None except the details I gave you. What exactly these signs are and this way to save the earth is up to you. (Actually, I have no idea myself. The idea was too awesome to let go, however.)

When a particularly strange man becomes interested in “Kira”, the stage name for the gorgeous man, Light soon finds this person, with his astonishing intelligence, is forcing him to spend time with the eccentric genius. Accidental affections grow, and Light even gives out his name to this Ryuzaki person, causing his past (Why is Light-kun, a son of a policeman and full of justice himself, working as a stripper?) to rear it’s unwanted head. Eventually, kisses lead to moving in to his apartment, meeting troublesome teenage genii, losing his job, and finding out his boyfriend is the world famous detective, L. Well isn’t life dandy.

Restrictions: Yes, I’d like for the writer to make some lemons. Can’t handle that, don’t take. (I can’t write them myself, so might as well give it away.) Plot: Unlike many other Harry Potter Death Note crossovers, L, the world’s greatest detective, is well aware of the magical world. However, L is unfortunately a squib. He tries to help the Ministry whenever he can, particularly Hogwarts. When a series of disappearances start between the various schools so close to the Triwizard Tournament, their only clue being an evidence-less red card with the gothic text stating “Kira,” L springs to action. Convincing the heads of Beauxbatons and Durmstrang to go along with the plan he and Dumbledore created, Wammy’s Private School of Wizardry (A magic school for genius orphans) is allowed a part in the Triwizard Tournament for L to catch this “Kira”.

Seventeen-year-old Light Yagami transfers to Wammy’s for his final year during this occasion at the request of L, being well known for his terrifying intelligence. Winning his slot in the tournament, he is L’s eyes in this investigation. Little do they know Light is the head of “Kira,” using dark magic to kill students who wield their magic to hurt society, a trend L notices. Wishing to be God, he slowly kills off competition and suspicion as he nears his goal of killing L and Dumbledore to prove himself supreme.

This completely ignores the plot of Harry Potter and the ages of characters. Have fun with that aspect.

Restrictions: No pairings. Try to be original in the tourni events. Some character death is a must. That’s how this thing got started. Watching the fourth movie and hearing the line “Some people have died in this tournament.”

Later in 2079 World War III occurs, laying waste to most of Europe and leaving South America forever impoverished. That was only the tip of the iceberg. A deadly strain of the Bubonic plague strikes the eastern part of the world, claiming over a billion lives. Natural disasters brew. Calamity is widespread. By the year 2100 Earth lies in ruins, almost lifeless.

Light Yagami is born in 2110, northern Japan (Tokyo was submerged in the great 2093 earthquake) into a well off family, saddened with the state of the earth. Everyone is in discord, and his intelligence is wasted. That is, until he meets a quirky man who calls himself Ryuzaki. Light is surprised to find out what Ryuzaki knows about the past, but one particular tale reminds him of the rumor that had spread throughout the hopeful of an island full of life and people. It all clicks together when he discovers that Ryuzaki is a robot. L contained a map to this island in his programming, one that only he could open. Though not everything goes as planned in life.

Restrictions: That was a rambling summary. Create plenty of catastrophes, of course. Yaoi is optional, though L is a robot (Think Chobits if you want). I left it open for you to make what I meant. Character death would be nice.

After the siege, the declaration of war from the small country of Kira, Raito disappears among others and the dead in the ravaged city. L forgets about his kind friend after 15 years pass, ascending the throne and fighting the Kira menace.

L begins the theory of the Kirans having a single, new leader after in one battle, rather than just the usual conflict of red and blue magic, a black had desecrated his forces. He becomes suspicious of a bright man named Light Amane, who appears as Baroness Misa’s cousin soon afterwards. The man is oddly familiar, and after spending time teasting the youth he discovers an equal. The familiarity stirs unwanted emotions in the king, eventually realizing that Light was Raito. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know he’s falling in love with Kira.

Restrictions: This is intended to happen in a 16th century like setting with magic, so go crazy with that. Feel free to do whatever with the romance and the ending. But I would like to see flashbacks or something about Raito getting kidnapped, twisted, and learning dark magic from Ryuk or something.

These hypocritical beliefs are challenged however when he is cursed by the Sand Witch Rem for attempting to exorcise the infamous succubus, Misa. For nine months Light must live as a vampire, and only if he learns his lesson will he allowed to become human again.

When Light wakes up the next night, he finds the changes irreversible, and his own holy magic rejects him. Fortunately, he is soon found by the wind spirit Sayu, who leads him to a nearby coven in the forest. Knowing this is his only chance of survival, he joins the small coven after some difficulties. Immediately he is interested by their alpha, Ryuzaki, and the otherworldly feeling about him. As he grows to appreciate his new life, grateful he did not end up wandering and becoming rabid like some “Beyond”, he begins to see the world in a new light. But this change will not last forever, and he’s already having a hard enough time admitting his feelings for the mysterious raven under all his lies. Moreover, the constant war with the humans seems to have taken a turn for the worst…

Restrictions: Other than the creatures I included, I’d like the writer to include a variety of mythological creatures, such as shape shifting dragons, fairies, sprites, and other such things. I’d appreciate if in the end L and Light can be together somehow. Remember that Ryuk is always following Light and only he can see him. Also, there is the fact that Light is a human who despises monsters, and he’s being forced to drink blood of other humans. There should be a bit of inner turmoil.

Anyway I really dont care if Light is Kira or not but I would like L to develop feelings for Light during his time handcuffed to him. Another thing, I would like to be really naive and innocent seeing as he has no memories of anything. ^-^

Plot: When Matsuda wins four tickets for a three-day stay at a five-star resort in the Philippines, he gives them to his coworker Soichiro for his family to go during their kids’ breaks. Knowing English well enough, Soichiro accepts. The trip turns into a nightmare when they are kidnapped by the American Mafia out of the blue. Terrified out of their wits by the violent leader Mello, Light does all he can to keep his family safe and figure out the Mafia’s purpose. As his family stays within their hold, Light experiences murder, fear, and a taste of the real world, often finding himself working with the criminals just to stay alive during the shootings from the Philippine army. However, he never expected his odd friendship/rivalry he formed with Mello to turn into affection.

Meanwhile, L is immediately put on the case of the kidnapping. On his team is the extremely guilty Matsuda, who becomes the driving force of the group. L is shocked when he digs up Mello had done this, and no ransom had been filed even after a month. Becoming suspicious in his motives, L sends Near to infiltrate the Mafia and see if his hypothesis is correct. The situation only gets worse when more hostages are killed, and L is no closer to wrapping this up due to the Philippines refusing help. What does Mello want?

Restrictions: Yes, I disregard the ages in this. I planned for Light to be 18 and for Mello to be 20. Don’t forget that Matt is his right-hand man of sorts. The yaoi can get explicit if the writer wishes so.

Plot: Everything had gone according to plan, until now. He didn’t understand what was happening. The day when he killed L, when the final enemy was gone, something had snapped inside him. His behavior at L’s grave was a sign of that. Was he rotting from the inside out? Had the Death Note done something to him? Light couldn’t tell anymore. Everything had become an internal nightmare since L had died. And everything would end for him soon enough as well.

To sum up this mood-creating segment, this idea is about Light going insane after L’s death. Whether he’s confused on his emotions and regrets everything, inner turmoil leading to suicide or him loosing sight of his goals and becoming a murderer, everything is welcome. Just make sure to not rush it and realistically display him breaking down, resulting in his death.

Restrictions: It must end with Light’s death, or possibly his mind fading away in an asylum. Whether the fic is calm as his mind very slowly destroys itself, or a sudden realization/event sends him spiraling out of control. Also, I would like for you to somehow include the funeral scene from the Director’s Cut. If you don’t know what I’m talking about I’ll provide a link upon adoption.

Plot: In an imaginary world where Vampires are the dominant race on the planet, much change is happening. This was eventually accepted in the main government, giving humans freedom, but that would never stop the underground slave traders or the bitter resentment between the two races.

When a strange virus spreads through the susceptible humans like a wildfire, vampires die from the infected blood. Chaos spreads and human rights begin to go haywire as they try to root out all humans with the disease. L Lawliet is one such unfortunate human in the underground slave trade, being cut up and left to die in the snowy north despite being healthy. He is picked up by the Hunters, a group of Anti-Vampire humans who have been planning a revolt. Being restored to health by the top Hunters, Mello and Near, he discovers his natural abilities and begins to train.

Meanwhile, human son Light Yagami is aggravated by the lack of care the vampires seem to be expressing for the infected humans. He himself is a human, born under certain circumstances (Will be in the notes I provide). When a sudden raid by Hunters desecrates the large city of Tokyo, he allies with the government. But among kidnapping, rogues, and tragic affections, it seems that the whole world is destined to collapse from the war brewing over thousands over years.

Restrictions: You absolutely have to get my notes before starting. This was at first intended to be a LxLight fic, but with my other notes BxLight could become an option. There has to be some character death, but otherwise everything is open.

Therefore, Raito has a fatal form of cancer (Go crazy on the type. I don’t care. Brain cancer would be ironic, though) and only has a year to live. So why NOT try to leave the a paradise of sorts behind him? So he becomes Kira, L gets involved…of course, L might have a softer perspective on Raito’s case, if he were dying of cancer. And of course, the confinement would be tough to put Raito in, so think about how the cancer would affect the plot and stuff, aside from the Yaoi. ^ ~

Restrictions: I want LxRaito (in that order! *shakes fist*) and lemons are so accepted, but not required …yes, I’m expecting this fic to be sad. =_= I don’t want this to be a Last Holiday movie, meaning no ‘Oops! Plot: Light is scared to death. He was just walking home from school one day, when all of a sudden everything went black at the train crossing. Now he’s in some twisted dimension where he’s guaranteed to go insane.

What really happened to poor Light is that he died. But his death was different from most. A misfortune incarnate named Beyond Birthday had taken an immense interest with Light, interacting with him in non-recallable dreams. When Ryuk, the reaper, came to take his soul, he found it already gone, a bloody gothic “B” in its place.

Poor, confused Light awakes in an eerie room with hundreds of dolls, many broken, mutilated, evil looking. One particularly evil doll turns out to be alive, calling itself “Near”, and left. Light then meets the other sinister beings of the place one by one, becoming well acquainted with the sinister L, who confuses him. This is “Life” and that was “Death”? What’s he talking about?! But Light get’s no chance to ponder his predicament or why he’s there when the hellish torture commences. Whenever he dies or is eaten, his flesh gone, he wakes up whole again the next day. He’s starting to talk to himself, seeing a red-eyed, blood covered demon in mirrors. But when he sees someone similar to L appear in his dreams, explaining everything, that they wanted B actually, the hell gets a lot more hectic.

Restrictions: This has got to be gory. The thing I watched (Which I now regret) was mortifyingly so that inspired this. The music video for some Dir en grey song. Ugh. There can be rape if you want. Also, there can be one-sided LxLight, from L of course, but in the end B tries to get Light away, only causing him to die truly. No happy endings.

Plot: As Light is escaping from the warehouse, Near burns the Death Note. Light is left with his sanity (relatively) intact, and no memories of being Kira- only that of being called Kira by Near and the taskforce, and the gunshot wounds Matsuda dealt him. Whether this is a oneshot or not hinges on what Ryuk decides to do, and is entirely up to the writer. I would like a multichaptered fic, but like I said, it's your decision.

Plot: Based on the film 'The Truman Show'- aged 14, Light finds a camera in his bedroom. After his father reassures him that nothing is wrong, he continues living normally until he finds several more four years later. This time, he says nothing.

Then, a few weeks after the discovery, a black notebook falls from the sky and as Light begins using it to become Kira, the world justice systems are becoming increasingly anxious about apprehending him- but worldwide fans of the Light Yagami show are enthralled by this new development (although they're a little worried by this new god complex he seems to have, and why he seems to be talking to thin air), and the show's ratings have never been higher- leaving L, the creator, lead writer and producer of the show, with something of a dilemma, especially since he has begun to find himself falling in love with Light...

Restrictions: LxLight, obviously. Other pairings are up to you (I'm thinking Light would have at least one female love interest as part of the show, and since Misa's an actress, well...).

Plot: A Doctor Who crossover. Light Yagami must be going mad. There's gods of death at his back and a little girl in his mirror that nobody else can see or hear, clutching at a red balloon as she stares at him endlessly. The only way to get rid of her appears to be to free her, as per her constant requests (which are stopping him sleeping- so as you can imagine, his reason's shot to heck), but when he does so, all hell breaks loose. Quite literally, in fact. Now he and L have to contend with a demon bent on revenge, and a certain trench coat-clad stranger who claims to know how to defeat her...

Doctor Who fans will guess that the little girl is 'Sister Dearest' from the Family of Blood (who may well be running low on energy by now, given she didn't get the intake she needed in the 'Family' arc), with the stranger of course being the Doctor. Who he's with, if anyone, is an open question, as is whether he'll also take an interest in the Kira case.

Restrictions: I would like some yaoi, but it doesn't have to be included. What does is mind games and a touch of carnage, though nothing too over the top, as I imagine 'Sister's efforts would be mostly focused on the Doctor rather than the whole planet.

Rating: T at the very least.

Plot: There is no death note in this story. During Lights imprisonment, he suddenly collapses in pain and crys tears of blood. Concerned the task force take him to the hospital where they find the most interesting thing, Lights genetic makeup is rewriting itself and making room for something else.

When Light wakes up, he finds he now has the power to kill with a single thought. Can the task force help him, espcially when he keeps thinking criminals are better off dead? And what happenes when the real Kira hears of this? Can he get Light to join his side?

Restrictions: Lemons please. I would like for there to be LxLight and some KiraxLight with of course Light as the uke.
