What in the world happned? Did she live, die, become a werewolf?

I think she lived, and wasn't a werewolf. I know most people think she was, but they didn't say (I believe) that it was full moon during the Final Battle. I think she had issues like Bill - perhaps worst.

Good point. I've read several fics where she was merely scarred or like Bill, and several where she was a werewolf, and I still can't make up my mind.

Wow, it's amazing how much you forget. I read the books, yet had no idea until I read this that anything remotely werewolf-related happened to Lavender.

Just a recommendation : (Lavender isn't the main character, but it does address her future, briefly [although there is no mention of the werewolf incident] and doesn't give in to the fanfic stereotype of the air-brained gossip. Great for the next generation, too.)
