prologue

A young man looked down on the city with a sigh. He stood up from his place on top of the highest building. He shifted closing his eyes feeling the wind shift. he moved his right hand to his black spikes as they swayed with the wind. He opened his eyes and scanned the building he was on. A glint flashed in his golden eyes as red seals appeared on the building. " Heh!...such low class demons!" He let out his cloak swaying in the wind. "You appear just to attack me." He said as cloaked skeleton creatures rose from seals. The seals disappeared and the young man started to count. He glanced behind him as he heard shifting. He saw some sycthes in their bone hands and smirked. "Well at least they are better the the others." He said moving his right hand out. "Come forth from the light." he said and his crystal on his neck glowed. In a flash of light a long sword appeared in his hand. "Well then lets have a little fun shall we?" He asked narrowing his eyes a little. He leaned froward off the edge of the building and fell towards the incoming demons. He spun once before placing his feet on the glass of the building. He slide down with a smirk moving readying his sword.

A young teenager sleeping on the top of the roof of his school building sat up blinking before laying back down.

"Kaze, Seishi.." a female teacher called. Not hearing a reply she pulled down the list from here face and looked at the empty seat near the window. "Oh..god....Maya." she called looking to the seat next to the empty one.

"Yeah?" She let out looking up.

"I know he's here today...please go get him." She said.

"Ok." Maya said standing

"Why must i do this every day." Maya mumbled walking outside the door. She turned towards the right and head toward the stairway at the end of the hall. Once she was there she headed up the stair. It took her less then a mintue to reach the top of the staircase and she saw the door to the roof. She walked over to it and opened it up. She walked out onto the roof and looked around. She saw him on the edge of the building sitting up.

"Kaze, what are you doing?!" She asked heatedly. The teenager known now as Kaze turned and looked at her with with a curious glaze.

"I'm relaxing." He said with a low tone.

"Why are you relaxing right there. You could fall you know." She said. Kaze looked at her before looking over the edge of the building.

"You are right." He said in that same tone. "Should I get down?" He asked.

"Yes." Maya said. Kaze turned his feet over to the roof before jumping down. He walked over to the staircase before turning and leaning against the wall.

"Kaze...don't sit down. We have to go to class." Maya said. Kaze looked at her before leaning off the wall.

"Alright." Kaze said lowly.

"Come on Kaze...I don't know why you even stay up here." She said

"to think." Kaze said. Maya blinked looking at him.

"Oh yeah...your brother is coming tommorrow right?" She asked.

"Yeah." He replied opening the door and holding it for her.

"I'm surprised you aren't happy. You have a family member that you haven't seen in a while coming." Maya said

Kaze merely looked at her before looking forward. "I...guess...I'm just not sure how to react." He said. Maya looked at him before humming lighty. She leaned over bumming into him before walking in the door.

"Come on Kaze. Loosen up some. It's me your talking to." Maya said smiling as she turned around towards him. Kaze smiled a little nodding. "Good..so talk a little louder." She said.

"I'll...Ok." Kaze said the second part a tone matching hers

"Good. Now lets go before the teacher gets angry." Maya said.

"Alright." He said walking in

They walked down the stairs in a brisk pace, not to slow or too fast. Maya looked back at Kaze with a curious expression. "By the way what does he look like?" She asked. Kaze looked at her with a blank stare shifting as he walked.

"He look kinda like me.....but with a different iris color." Kaze said. "He may be a bit taller also. I'm not really sure." He said.

"Hm" Maya said taking a good look at Kaze. She imaged a change of his eye color and him being a bit taller before she turned. "Ok. hm how about I be with you when you meet him?" She asked. Kaze stared at her before nodding.

"If you want to you can." He said reverting back to his normal tone. Maya shook her head sighing before nodding.
