(I guess advance the conversation with Deedlit and the Elric brothers, but what you should do, is have Descent show up in the World That Never Was, so he can find Sarah. That should cover it, and I'll take over when the time comes.)

The World That Never Was

Descent emerged from a black hole that appeared in the side of a building. Casually stepping out of it, he looked around. The place was rather dismal looking and was completely deserted. "Nice place." He said sarcastically.

"What a terrible view!" He said, running up the side of the building to get a better view of the city. "Much better!" He smiled, scanning the ground below. "Now then... where are you?" He wondered.

"But enough about us. What's your story?" Ed asked, trying to turn the conversation toward a more pleasent subject.

(Now this will be a long post probably, but for a different reason! YAY!)

"My story?" Deedlit asked. She then thought for a moment.

"I'll tell you from the beginning, so you can understand me better. A long time ago, in a time when the gods ruled the earth, there was a great battle, and many of the gods summon many spirits for battle. The Isle of Lodoss, was forged in that battle, and Marfa, the goddess of life, defeated Kardis, the goddess of destruction. Many of the spirits from the battle, took on physical forms, and thus, elves, dwarfs, and dragons were born. There was only one kind of drawf, but there were a few different kinds of elves. The wood elves, are ones that never leave their forests, and don't get involved with the outside world. Half elves, elves born of human and elf relation. The High elves, live in the Forest of No Return, a sacred forest which no human can enter, unless the spell placed upon the forest is lifted. I am a High Elf from the Forest of No Return as you all know, I came into the human world, so I could learn about you. I was the very last High Elf to born, and everyone wasn't to happy when I offered to go, but a friend of mine helped me. I didn't know this at the time, but he went into the human world before, and he didn't see a lot of the good things in it. I nearly lost hope for humans, but then I met one person, the Free Knight Parn. He was called the Free Knight, because he belonged to no Kingdom, he belonged to the people, he fought for the entire Isle of Lodoss. I saw a great many things as I traveled with him, and he helped me change. True I have fought in a great many wars, but I learned a lot of good things from you, like what true love is, something that my kind doesn't give to much thought, or rather think of it properly because of or immortality. I miss Parn so much, but I learned what we High Elves should have done in the begining, I am now called the Eternal Guardian," Deedlit replied.

Darkness began to swell in the area that Descent had arrived as a figure in a tattered black cloak appeared before him, face and body hidden with in the gloom of the World That Never Was. He stood a few feet in front of Descent looking directly at the being.

Sarah stepped out of Xion's house for a bit of fresh air.

"Oh, hey." Descent said to the figure in front of him. "Listen, I hate to bother you, but I'm trying to find someone right now, so if you could just move a little bit to your right, that would be great." He said, moving the figure to the side. "Great! That's perfect! Stay there!" He continued to survey the ground. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot... who are you exactly?"

Sarah, wanting to get a better idea of where she is at, winds up heading towards Descent and the stranger.

Shadows contorted around the man as he sunk into the ground and rose out infront of Descent.

"My name is my buisness, but for now you may refer to me as Dark." he replied calmly. The shadows wrapping around him.

Sarah could feel something in the air, so she then peaked around the corner of the building, and soon saw Dark and Descent high up on a roof.

"Who are those two?" she asked.

"Oooh... mysterious. Yeah, well two can play that game!" Descent said in a competitive tone. "You may call me Descent." He said in a smug manner. "Aaannnyyywwwhhhooo... was there something you wanted?" He asked the man.

"Hm... I just felt a flash of her presence, but it disappeared. She's somewhere in this city, but I can't pinpoint where." Descent thought, trying to ignore the man.

Sarah, being taken over by curiosity, began to head towards the building that Descent was at.

A sneer played on the man's features under his cloak.

"Heh...looking for someone..." Dark chidded. "I'm afraid you won't be able to find her..." he stated calmly. "Well...not all of her at least...when I'm done." He then raised up an arm as if he were talking to a higher power. "Such a pity...her scent seems so pure. Oh well..." he grinned darkly. "But as they say, the goal to revenge is never easy." A whiff of Descents scent entered his nostrils as his eyes widened with a feeling of pleasure, stimulating his body. "Oh...I see know..." he spoke to no one in particular. "How about a deal Descent?" he grinned dark tendrills coursing around his lower body.

Sarah then made her way into the building and started going towards the top.

"A deal?" Descent asked in an uncomfortable tone. "From all the sniffing, tendrills, etc., I'm almost afraid to ask, but... what deal would that be?" He wondered, moving a few inches back.

"There it was again." Descent thought, noticing Sarah's presence again. "It's stronger this time; I can almost tell where she is. Although she's saving me the trouble, because it seems that she's coming this way." He smiled beneath his mask.

Dark grinned as he lifted a metal gloved finger to his chin giving a dark chuckle "Your head..." he began as he held out his right arm summoning a red and black doublebladed staff, dark aura began to pulsate around him, contorting and building up, the air becoming dense with it's thickness. "...For your lovers." The darkness then exploded out creating a shockwave as Dark burst foward at Descent, his blades gleaming in the pale flame light of the World That Never Was.

Sarah soon reached the top, and heard Descent ask "A deal?..........From all the sniffing, tendrils, etc., I'm almost afraid to ask, but... what deal would that be?" She then went to the door and pushed it open just a crack to look out and try and keep herself hidden, unaware that she is being sensed.

'Who are these guys? And what are they talking about? And what is with that guy and the tendrils?' she asked in her head.

(Gah, didn't finish the post fast enough, or rather, didn't have another tab open. Oh well, this takes place before Dark's attack.)

Sarah then did a slight gasp once Dark started his attack.

(Geez... I can't believe how long it took me just to come up with a way for Descent block this attack.) -___-

Descent immediately made two knives from the darkness and blocked the attacked, although the impact pushed him back a few feet. (Ordinarily, he would have made them out of light, but when he's evil, he uses darkness instead.) "Well THAT was unexpected, though not entirely surprising." He sighed. "So tell me, what is that you want exactly?"

"She's here!" Descent noticed. "Unfortunately, I'm a little preoccupied at the moment. Hopefully she'll stick around until this is all over." He thought, frustrated that he couldn't bring her back until he had dealt with Dark.

'What should I do? Well, the guy with the tendrils seems to be the enemy, so I hope I'm not making a mistake by doing this,' Sarah thought as she pointed the tip of her sword at Dark, and fired a beam at him.

Dark sneered, the double bladed staff pushing heavily against Descents knives.

"What I want?" he asked in a condescending tone. "What I want is to watch Neifirst squirm as I obliterate her and any trace of her from the side of the multiverse. However, I want her to suffer first, and what better way to have her loved ones turn on her. Which is where you come in Descent." he grinned. "Kill your lover and the Multiverse is yours. All I desire is to see her corpse lying by my feet."

So...the one from the other side is here. Dark thought. It's best I keep tabs on her. She may provide proper...leverage.

(Edit: Not fast enough)

Turning his head he noticed the beam and fell back, The tendrils around his legs vanishing as his feet left the ground, the Beam grazing the top of his hood and heading toward Descent.

'They're using her original name! Not the one that she gave herself in my world! I guess she is still evil here, but perhaps I can reach her,' Sarah thought.

"Hm... tempting. But may I ask why you hate her so much?" Descent asked, leaping up to the roof of the doorway that led back inside the building, pulling out his stronger metal knives.

Flipping back up to his feet Dark gave a slight scowl.

"Why wouldn't the opressed hate the opressor?" he asked his voice becoming dry and empty. "If you want the specifics then claim your choice." Dark ordered. "And perhaps I'll tell." He then began to move his left hand as if it were spazzing out of his control.

"And may I point out that revenge has a way of rebounding in more ways than one," Sarah said as she stepped out into the open.

"I know who your attacker is, and I might be willing to help, provided you control your anger. My father has seen what revenge has done for others, as have I," she added.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I understand that. What I DON'T understand is why the 'oppressed' would hate one 'oppressor' in particular." Descent argued, leaping back to the ground in front of Sarah in a protective manner.

(By the way Mega, who are you talking to in that last part? I assume you're talking to Dark the whole time, but I just want to be clear on that.)

(I was talking to Dark, sorry I didn't note that, I usually do when necessary, but I forgot this time.)

"Who are you two anyway, and what has been going on? Pardon me if I seem clueless, but this isn't my world, or reality for that matter," Sarah said.

Dark let out a laugh, chilling and cold as it resonated threwout the area.

"So it can speak!" he called as he reared his head back and made a sickening crack as he lurched it foward. "However your preeching falls upon deaf ears Outsider. It would be best if you remained out of affairs that do not consern you." He then turned his eyes to Descent, hand still spasming and watched as the masked man leapt inbetween him and Sarah. "She is the spark that ignited the forest. The rest are mearly burnt land." Dark commented. "You have till ten to answer Descent. One..."

"Doesn't concern me? WE'RE TALKING ABOUT MY AUNT!" Sarah yelled.

"As far as I'm concerned you have no family in this plain. Unless you drill that into your skull you'll be in for a rude awakening. Two..." Dark Continued.

"Family isn't just about blood, it's about the heart too," Sarah said.

Dark's manner abruptly changed as he looked at Sarah.

"Heart..." Dark growled as darkness soon began to course around him, then quickly disipated into the dark confines of the world. "The heart is where the home is right...to bad yours isn't here!" he snarled. "4..." he continued skipping a number.

(Sorry Firebro if I'm moving to fast.)

"All you seem to care about is if Descent plans on helping you kill Neifirst, and I think I can see why you hate her, she destroyed you home, killed your loved ones, and your leader. I know that sometimes revenge seems like the best choice, but if you're not careful," Sarah paused as she stepped around Descent and took a few steps towards Dark.

"You'll end up like the one you hate, and hurt those you want to protect."

(I just realized I had Descent do something I shouldn't have done, so I'm simply going to undo it. Rather than take out his steel knives, he's still holding his materialized knives.)

"Aunt?" Descent looked at Sarah in surprise. Upon a closer look, he did indeed notice the resemblance. "And by the way, that's not going to work." He thought as she tried to persuade Dark.

Chuckling to himself, he turned back toward Dark. "Okay. First of all, you seriously need to stop speaking in analogies. Second, you still haven't answered my question. Third, you skipped over '3'. And finally..." As he was counting these things off, he casually examined his knives. Seeing that one of them had started to crack due to Dark's attack, he casually threw it over the side of the building, hitting the ground a few seconds later.

"I DECLINE." Descent stated bluntly. Sticking his left arm out, he drew Sarah into his left hand almost telekinetically. "Run." He told her. Once he had a grip on her, she suddenly vanished, reappearing on the street below where the knife had landed.

(If you wanted Sarah to stick around for this Mega, it's perfectly fine with me if we completely ignore this last bit. However, it seems to me that as soon as Descent says "No", Dark is going to be pissed and attack. Therefore, this is pretty much the only way I can think of to keep Sarah out of harm's way for the time being.)

(I know just what to do.)

"Alright, but don't expect me to run away completely!" Sarah said as she ran and rounded a corner.

'This sword I have really packs a mean punch, even though I still don't know all it can do, I know enough to be able to beat this Dark,' she thought to herself as she got her claws out and quickly scaled the side of the building.

'I'll need a vantage point, and these buildings should do the trick.'

"I know..." Dark Commented before Descent pefromed his stunt. As the two reappeared below on the city streets, Dark looked down and frowned. Turning toward Descent he knealed on the side of the building and crouched over looking down at Descent. "And here I thought we could be friends." Dark called. "Oh well. I guess burnt land is of no use to me after all." he commented lifting his left hand and firing a dark blast into a nearby alleyway.

Clanking metal was soon heard as a large metal dark purple glove reached around the corner. Pulling itself around a gaint purple and black suit of armor stood before Descent.

"Descent, Gaurd Armor. Gaurd Armor, your new toy." Dark grinned.

"Oh boy," Sarah said once she saw the Gaurd Armor.

"Let's see how he likes this!" she said as she swung her sword, and a slash wave shot towards the Gaurd Armor's head.

Gaurd Armor staggered slightly shaking it's empty helmet back and forth to oreintate itself. Dark noticing this interuption chuckled.

"Hey Outsider!" Dark called. "Guess what I smell!" Dark cackled slightly manical.

"I would guess blood and fear, but enlighten me!" Sarah called back.

(I'd better get to bed. We'll continue in the morning.)

"Two scents...both exceptionally dark...and native to this world." Dark hissed as he opened a dark portal below his feat and sunk into it, insane laughter leaving him as he disappeared into the darkness.

Xion was currently looking out the window of the damadged building her and Roxas were hiding out in.

I wonder where Sarah went off to? Xion pondered. She soon heard footsteps. Quickly wheeling around she let out a gasp as a black gloved hand reached out towards her.

(Just for future reference, Descent has the ability to teleport anyone he's holding to a position with a knife, kunai, etc. without actually teleporting there himself (as long as it's within a reasonable distance). So my original idea was to simply send Sarah down to the street and fight Dark on the roof, but the current situation is perfectly fine also, so we don't have to change it. I'd just like to point out that he does actually have that ability.

Also, I'd post something, but I'm too tired to write anymore, so I'll post something in the morning.)

"Guard Armor, huh?" Descent said as he casually walked up to Guard Armor. "Heh. Nice to meet you." He laughed, materializing a new set of knives.

Descent took a stance like he was ready to attack. But he suddenly disappeared and reappeared behind the guard armor. A few seconds after he reappeared, a piece of Guard Armor's right arm fell to the ground.

"But you probably can't say the same about me, can you?"

Gaurd Armors legs stomped the ground creating shockwaves as he turned to fire another punch with his left arm.

"Xion!" Sarah yelled as she started to run and leap from rooftop to rooftop to try and get back to Xion's house as fast as she could.

"Hm... you're tougher than I expected." Descent said, turning around to face Guard Armor, not noticing the punch that was coming. "I intended for that strike to cleave your arm all the way-" Descent was cut short as the punch buried him in the cement.

Descent began to emerge from the crater, lifting Guard Armor's hand above him. "That was quite a punch. You're stronger than I expected as well. But..." He then quickly rotated Guard Armor's arm, snapping it's connection to the body and pulled the arm completely off. "You're still not strong enough to take me on." He mocked, spinning around and belting Guard Armor from the side with his own arm.

(I apologize if I end up G-Modding Wraith, but as Mega said before, Descent is one of the last bosses of the RP. He can't afford to get beaten too badly at this early stage. However, if I start to go overboard, you're more than welcome to tell me off.) XD

Sarah soon arrived at Xion's house, and quickly kicked to door in and ran in.

"Xion!" she called.

(Hey Firebro, try and have Descent lose the Gaurd armor, and make his way over to Xion's house.)

(Firebro: Hey man, no problem. My whole intention was just to wear Descent down, and Gaurd Armor is just a simple Heartless, (One of the First Bosses of KH)

Also Mega, I was wondering what the state of the Numan Homeworld is in, because I have an Idea that I'd like to check by.)

Gaurd Armor flinched as his own arm hit him. His body staggering back. His floating helmet then shook as his Right arm flew back up to it's position on his body, throwing another punch toward Descent.

As Sarah ran in, she noticed Xion being held the arms of a cloaked being, her head against the chest. He being turned toward Sarah, his head shrouded underneath the cloak as his grip tightened and pulled Xion back, the XIV memeber of the Organization looking a bit shocked by the action.

(Well, where the Numan world would be located, is in an area of space called the Gural Systm.(Think that's how it's spelled, but I might be wrong, haven't seen it spelled in awhile.) It really isn't in bad shape, as Neifirst hasn't even attacked that area, but it might be a target later. What did you have in mind? I know a little bit about that area as I've played Phantasy Star Portable, but not the ones for Playstation 2 yet.)

Sarah was more then a bit shocked, she was absolutely astonished, here she thought Xion was going to be under attack, but here she was making love?

"Wha........what is going on here? I........I.......I was expecting you to be under attack!" Sarah said, nearly blushing, but it soon faded as she quickly pointed her sword at the hooded figure.

"Who are you!" she demanded.

"I should be asking you the same thing!" came a growl from under the cloaked man's body, his voice consideraby different from Dark. Quickly opening his hands two blades flashed into them. A blade of black ebony and a blade of etheral blue and bright yellow. Both were shaped in the fashion of a key. Spinning both before them he settled in an attack position but before he could strike, Xion stepped in between the two.

"Roxas wait!" she called "She's a friend." The man instantly stiffened as he stood up, out of his battle stance, his blades still in his hands.

Dark melded out of the shadows as he watched from a distance.

Hmm...so predictable. A grin appearing under his features. I hope you enjoyed my little gift Outsider. From here on out...your saftey is no longer my conscern as you. Getting up, Dark swiftly turned and looked off to the distance. No for the next matter at hand.

Sarah then shook her head.

"We have to gt out of here, someone is attacking!" Sarah said.

Xion and Roxas both raised there eyes in Alarm.

"Who they asked?" in unisen.

The Android Cell stood calm as he glared at the man before him. Having drained the city dry he was certain none were left, and was suprised by this man rising out of the ground, contorting with the shadows themselves.

"Are you the android known as Cell." Dark Spoke out, his arm pointing at Cell.

"Hmhmhm. So my reputation preceeds me." Cell grinned darkly as his tail lifted up to his shoulder as he looked at Dark.

"I have a proposition for you." Dark responded.

"Not interested!" Cell growled as he launched foward his tail ready to impale Dark upon Contact. However Cell mearly passed threw Dark as if he was never there, the mysterious being having had melted into the shadows as Cell passed. Turning as the anroid passed Dark turned and held a palm to Cell's head, a dark energy coursing threw his palm.

"I can give you what you want...Android 17 & 18." Dark hissed as Cell's eyes widened and grinned.

"Someone calling himself Dark, he unleashed a huge armor that is attacking what's left of your town!" Sarah replied.
