Topic: A More Detailed Description of this Forum!

Hi! I'm currently working on a story title Catalyst, and am hoping this forum can help fuel my creative energy/verve/etc. That said, this could be a good place for other writers to get back on track as well, or even discuss characters in a meaningful way.

So! I'd like anyone posting here to keep my stuff in mind, if at all possible, but commenting on other stuff about DP is fine too. :D

For now here are the topics I will include:

1) Vlad Discussion. His character, meaning his interests, his quirks, the craziness that goes on behind those blue eyes. His obsessions, his goals. Keeping him in character! Likes and dislikes? Etc.

2) Danny Discussion. Ditto.

3) Dan Discussion. :)

4) Sam Discussion.

5) The Ghosts, their Powers, and the Ghost Zone. Who do you like/dislike? And what about their powers? Speaking of which, is it just me, or are there a few contradictions in the series when it comes to rules in the Ghost Zone?

6) Catalyst, as it is so far. Is there a particular chapter you like or dislike? Pacing, character development...commentary on these would be aweseome. Eep...likes/dislikes?

7) Catalyst Speculation. What do you think I have planned? Bwaha. Keep in mind, I already have a sequel lined up.

8) Of course, someone else might want to post a topic...feel free! Just know that if it's offensive I'll probably delete it.

Heh...I'll be amazed if all of these get answers. Lawks! I'm already getting called away from the computer! More later, maybe. :P

Ah! One more topic, for fun:

I've had trouble thinking of a good description of Catalyst to fit into the teensy space this sight gives you when posting a story. Would anyone care to give suggestions?

Aaand this last topic should be more than enough:

My writing style. Am I too wordy? Are my descriptions lacking, or too detailed? Is the pacing too slow/too fast? Don't worry about being hard hitting. I honestly want to improve myself, and if I can't take criticism, heck, how can I move forward?

That said, if there are things I do well, you can let me know. :P I feel my style has already shifted during this story, by the way. Has it, or am I imagining things?

If anyone wants to discuss style in general, an author you think writes well, etc, please do. Any recommendations? I for one enjoy Terry Pratchett. He is an excellent author, and someone to study.
