EspiritusHmmm...what would Aoshi be??? That's a good question...maybe he would be, of course a student first because he has to go to school... Maybe he would still be living with his parents. lol. I'm joking, of course. I can't really see Aoshi being an artist because I don't think his character tends to go that way. Well you could say he was an artist with his kodachis (or however you spell them). I can see him as a business man, a professor of english, literature, languages, and history. Another job is a CIA or FBI, something like that. Maybe he would be hot as like a sea captain on a cruise line. lol. Hey, that would be an intresting fic. Somone could write about it, I'm not good with AM. Aoshi is hard to write for me. |

StarShipDeltaAoshi...Cruise ship...::plot bunnies start multiplying in her mind:: that's kind of a cool idea, have to play with that one for a while...kicking around another idea where he'd be a driven busnessman trying to fill his father's shoes...kind of like when he took over as Okashira, I guess, though I know he didn't take it from his father. JacksonAoshi never stuck me to be a random man, so whatever his job would be, it has to be set and follow a schedule. It also would probably involve him talking as little as he could afford. Instead of just being a teacher or business man, I see him doing simple jobs as well, not neccessairily something that holds a great amount of responsibility. For example; lawncare, since that is a solitary job and may commercial businesses do want to look nice. However, I find a problem with these sometimes because Aoshi seems rather prideful as well, and his character may flounder as a result of such an occupation. I can see him as a doctor because he would have the focus to work that hard, and doctors spend little time actually WITH the patients. Mostly the nurses do the interaction and etc. Perhaps a pilot? That requires study, you don't have to interact with many people and he would have a schedule. I don't see him working for a commercial air line...Air Force One perhaps, or something that allows his pride to fit into the picture. ~Blue |

DustiiYeah, Aoshi + Cruise Ship = SEXY. I totally agree that he would not be very social, especially as a student. In my mind, however, I always imagined Aoshi to be...filthy rich. I dunno why, but it just seems to match his regal sort of appearance. However, he would NOT be a celebrity figure. I'd say: Captain of a Cruise Ship (this is just so appealing to me!) Pilot of some type (yeah, this would definitely fit him) Rich, stoic, and silent business dude (this would be typical aoshi) Athlete (yes, plus, he's hotter that way) yeah...gawd, he is frickin hot...*drools* and...even more romantic: Aoshi as the captain of a Pirate Ship. HOT!!! As for Misao, I think she fits PERFECTLY in modern times. However, I always see her as a student. But, if she had a job, she'd either be: A peppy clerk (YES!) An artist (I dunno why, but it seems to work) A writer (???) An athlete of some type (where else would that energy go?) EspiritusThat would be so cool if some one wrote about Aoshi as a cruise ship captain. I would probably never write about it, but anyone else could!!! I would love to read a story about that since I will probably never have the time to write about it. EspiritusMaybe someone could do a story about Misao being an overstressed, loud mouth lawyer at the top of her game, but then suddenly, since she becomes so stressed, she kind of get mad at a client and the person ends up firing her sevices. Her boss, Saitou, demands that she takes a sabatical (or however you spell it) and arranges for her to go on a cruise line where Aoshi is none other than the captain. That would be kind of fun, maybe...if anyone likes that idea, or that gives anyone an idea, you can use it. Ame Ulani've seem misao as a lawyer in several stories and it really does work. i personally like her as a lawyer--even though i'm doing a story of her as a criminal... she's very stubborn and witty not to mention LOUD, so lawyer could be it. i've seen her as a writer too, but that never seemed to work out for me. i can see aoshi as a writer, because he's the intellectual type. (that is so spell wrong)i can't exactally see him working at a airport. maybe at an antique book store! i usually see aoshi as an agent working for the government. maybe it's because he's a ninja... i don't know. but i can see him as a captain of a ship. in the uniform at least. ^_^ *_*X_X| #15 Dec 31st 2005, 5:55pm | |

I might...*trys to make plot bunnies multiply like WhiteRabbit5's...* The problem: I know NOTHING about law (ironic, since I'm seriously considering a major in it, just not in criminal justice). Other problem: I also know NOTHING about cruise ships - I've never been on one, nor have I been exposed to the captain of one... information, please, anyone? EspiritusTo the idea I had...well I no seriously nothing about cruise ships or law. That and you really don't have to know anything about law since she will be on a vacation, and to the cruise line, I would just use what I know from movies. I kind of started it (like two paragraphs, but I know I will never finish with it so its still up for graps...maybe you and I could coe author it, lol). dreamaker13 To be perfectly honest, when I hear "Aoshi" + "AU" I immediately think of him as a doctor. I don't know why, I just do.
