A peaceful spot near the ocean wave crashing agianst the shore.

Quinn walked down the beach, searching for Shellder's with pearls in them. He had many pearls, that he put in some jar or can to make them jingle. Quinn loved to collect anything that jingled, and he was on a expedition to find something to add to his collection. As he always does, he found a young Shellder, and with some struggle, convinced it to give it's pearl up. Putting the pearl on the lilipad on his head, he thanked Shellder, and continued on his way.

Pegesus dipped his head into the water to get a drink.

Quinn paused for a minute to watch some kind of pokemon drink some water. Curiosity got the better of him, and he headed towards the pokemon. "Hey! I'm Quinn! Who are you?" Quinn asked, expecting him to answer.

(it is a made up Pokemon the evolution of Rapidash with flame tipped wings)

Pegesus looked up.

"Pegesus." She said in a soft voice.

(Cool!)

Quinn nodded as he looked at her flame tipped wings. "What fiery big wings..." Quinn stated as he looked up.

"Thank you." Pegesus said sitting down.

"Does it hurt to always be on fire?" Quinn asked.

"No it doesn't, Ponyta's and Rapidashes manes are on fire to and the don't hurt." Pegesus said jumping back when a wave tried to hit her.

"Can I.....touch it?" Quinn asked quietly as he watched the fire on her wings as if it were the best thing in the world.

"No it would burn you."

"Oh....All right..." Quinn sighed, but then grinned. "Can you fly?" Quinn said, his eyes shining with exitement.

"Yes what good are wings if I can't fly?" Pegesus said chuckling.

"Can you fly, so I can see?" Quinn asked as he watched Pegesus in awe.

Pegesus nodded and took off through the air her wings flapping every few seconds before she landed.

"Wow! You must be one of the coolest pokemon ever!!!!" Quinn cheered as he grinned at her.

"Thanks." Pegesus stopped and looked up. "Lynn is in trouble."

"Wha? Lynn? I have a friend who has a friend called Lynn! Can I come?" Quinn said hopping around in exitement.

"Yes jump on my back and quikly Lynn is my trainer but I was chosen by her father to protect her." She leaned down to make it easier.

"Thanks!" Quinn grinned as he hopped onto her neck. "Have you ever heard of Lira?"

"Yes she is a friend of Lynn's and of mine. Lynn saved her from being caught by Team Rocket." She took off as fast as she could.

"Yahoo~!!!!!" Quinn cheered as he clung as hard as he could to Pegesus.

Suddenly a shadow fell over them. "LYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYNNNNNNNN!" It roared and took off in the direction they were going.

"WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW!" Quinn yelled as she went faster. "What's with the shadow?" Quinn grumbled.

"King Brutus just received new that Lynn is in trouble." She flew faster and higher so that Quinn could see Brutus, who was a Dragonite bigger and scarier that any other Dragonite.

"Hello sir! Nice day, is'nt it?" Quinn grinned as he greeted the dragonite.

Brutus looked over his shoulder before stopping.

"PEGESUS YOU LEFT YOUR MASTER ALONE!" He yelled. Pegesus started to quake.

"I'm s-sorry King Brutus but Lynn said I could go were ever I want untill she called for me." Pegesus shook even more.

"H-hey! I-it's o-okay!" Quinn stuttered as he started to shake with Pegesus.

"Who are you?" Brutus said, looking at Quinn.

"My name is Quinn! Pleasure to meet you! I'm friends with Lira!" Quinn grinned.

"Well you help me get my child back?" Brutus said shaking.

"Sure!" Quinn smiled. He always wanted to meet Lynn in person.

Brutus calmed down before crying.

"Hey.....Are you all right mister?" Quinn said as he turned to face him.

"My child is important to me now she has been caught."

"By who?" Quinn asked.

"Team Rocket." Pegesus let out a whinny.

"....Why would they do that? They only care about pokemon....." Quinn said as he remembered his first encounter. Not his best day....

"Because Lynn has a stone that can unlock her powers that lay in her body, Powers that sleep until she is 18 and wears the stone she is 18 and if she wears the stone she will be able to control Pokemon." Brutus said.

"That.....can't be good...." Quinn said with determination etched his face. "Let's go!"

Pegesus flew on heading straight after Brutus who had already took off.

"Stop! Follow that balloon!" Quinn said as he pointed to the meowth hot air balloon.

Brutus flew after it. Pegesus flew higher and looked in it.

"They must have already took her to their base." She said, "Lynn's not in there."

"They'll probably lead to the base though!" Quinn pointed out.

Pegesus and Brutus nodded and waited flying above them.

(Night Fausha~! See you tomorrow!)

"All right then!" Quinn jumped onto the balloon and clinged tightly.

Pegesus and Brutus flew up ahead.

Quinn sighed in boredom as he put his head into the balloon. Quinn got bored easily, and there just wasn't much to do on a giant balloon. Quinn sighed, accidentaly showing his teeth, popping the balloon. Gulping, Quinn tried to cover it, but to no avail. He quickly blew off. The balloon shot to the ground, and Quinn blasted off, and started falling.

"I'll never fly again!"

Brutus swooped down and caught Quinn.

"Thank you sir! Sorry for popping it...." Quinn said sadly. "I blew....HEY! There it is!!!" Quinn said as he pointed to a giant bulding with an R on it.
