Here's how it works: you claim a character, and write a fic about them using the prompt summer. There's no restrictions on how you interpret the prompt as long as your story relates to summer in some way; however we do ask that you try to avoid writing incest (unless it's canonical, such as the Black Family), explicit NC-17 sex scenes and anything else that might offend our readers (slash is fine, as long as it's not explicit).

Your story should be emailed to reviews lounge [at] hotmail . com. Somewhere in your email, preferably the subject, please include your pen-name, the character you claimed, and the title you want for your story. Also, please either proof-read yourself, or ask someone else to beta for you. This just makes it easier for the mods to make sure we receive and upload every story. It will be due by August 31st - the last day of summer. Please try and remember this, because we're not going to chase you -- we just won't accept your story after that date unless you have a really good excuse and can make some darn good puppy dog eyes.

If, by July 15th, a second character you want has not been claimed, you are welcome to claim them. This helps to avoid the inevitable questions about when a second round will open up.

Obviously, we want as much participation as possible, and that includes reading and reviewing!

The stories are uploaded to the Reviews Lounge account (we have several collaborative stories up already - click on the RL account to take a look).

Since this isn't an anonymous collaboration like the last one, we'll probably upload the stories as they come in (with the usual proviso that the mods have real lives too, so it's as time permits!) You can upload your story to your own acoount too if you wish, but please mention in your summary or author's note that it's also part of the collaboration.
