It's my first fic but I'm in the middle of writing a second which is taking me ages and I'd really like to know what people think of my first one to see if I can improve on anything for the one I'm writing now. Title: The Curse Of Terence Petalsnout Length/Chapters: I think it in the region of 90,000 words and 23 chapters long. How long has it been posted?: 10-06-09 How many reviews does it have?: 3 Characters/pairings: OC/Hermione Summary: Terence Petalsnout had never considered himself anything but a regular student attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An outcast to his own house (Slytherin) and a loner of sorts, Terence wanted nothing more than to live out his school life free from the negative notoriety and the constant dark shadow above his head that wearing the green and silver badge brought him. Can he ever hope to be seen as just Terence rather than a Slytherin? Calistabelle Title: Of Men and Monsters Length/Chapters: 16 and a prologue so far, but it's growing in length! How long has it been posted?: Uh, the end of December last year How many reviews does it have?: About five per chapter Characters/pairings: SS/LE very quickly at the beginning, RL/SB pretty much all the time so far and SS/RL unrequited-ish. Summary: It's the response to PadyandMoony's Snupin Family Challenge. Severus and Remus have been in love with each other since forever, but neither of them knows of the other's affections, or has acted on their own, so Sev has ended up on his lonesome and Remus is in a relationship with Sirius. Severus slept with Lily as a favour because she thought her husband was dead and he is actually Harry's father, not James, BUT no one knows. Remus stopped Sirius from doing anything stupid, so he never went to Azkaban, and Remus also saved Harry from the Dursleys. Harry's grown up with Remus as his 'Dad' and Sirius as a parent-come-cool-older-brother (because Sirius is too immature to be a proper parent). However, his death does not mark the end of Malfoy's existence. Upon awakening after this ordeal, Draco finds himself in a place that serves as a sort of middle ground, a limbo for the dead who cannot fully pass on without completing a very specific task, otherwise known as one's personal 'Unfinished Business'. There he quickly finds that he is not alone; Severus Snape resides in limbo, as well. The two of them remain together and try to figure out how they can redeem themselves before finally passing on. However, from their spot as watchers, the two can see something horrible in the works that the likes of the living cannot see. dDo they have enough time to save the Wizarding World again before it's too late? How long has it been posted?: First chapter went up November 24th How many reviews does it have?: 29 - but not if I delete the anonymous complaints Characters/pairings: Let's see, students and teachers present during Harry's 6th year, plus Edward, Bella, Jacob and Renesmee from Twilight. Pairings (on the Twilight side) are canon so far. The pairings on the HP side might stay more or less canon as well. Summary: In the years since he first married Bella, a lot had changed in Edward Cullen's life. Little did he know how much life would change once his family moved to Scotland. Don't get scared. Yes, this is a crossover, but it's also a parody. I poke fun at perfect original characters (because Breaking Dawn was totally realistic), some of the weirdness that made up the entirely of Breaking Dawn and a few of the odd things (esp. romantically) in HBP. Plus Edward's sparkly and Jacob's hot. If you love one series and not the other, read it. If you hate both (BD and HBP), you may be bored, but read it anyway. If you love both and have the ability to laugh at them, join the party. Oh, and because I hate Bella, most of it is from Harry or Edward's POV. |
