Me? Well age wise I'm starting to give Father William a run for his money, though I've never been described as wise.

I've just celebrated twenty years of marriage - to the same woman, as well. I told you I've never been described as wise.

I live just north of London, in sunny old England.

Hobbies are far too many. I grow my own veg, and scuba dive and coach rugby and read too much and write too much. I have a job as well - an accountant. Not wise.

What stories do I like? Well written ones, where the author is willing to step outside their comfort zone and try something different.

What stories do I dislike? The ones that have already been written by a thousand other people.

My stories. I've tried to do humour, honestly I have. They tend to end up rather dark, though. I've also attempted a couple of biographies, seeing if the post war world really was as "happily ever after" as it was made out to be in the epilogue. It wasn't - not all the time.

One day I must tackle Dumbledore.

Why are you here? I love fanfics and I know I need to review more. I already review everything I read (that I finish, that is... if it makes me quit in disgust over how bad it is, it doesn't count), but I leave one-sentence reviews pretty often. I know I can do better than that.

What fic are you most proud of? I'm actually pretty proud of what I'm writing now, The Trouble with Twins. It's been at least a year since I've written anything, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how much my writing has improved. Of course it isn't perfect, but it's nice to not have to sit for ten minutes staring blankly at the screen because I don't know if I need a comma or a semi-colon.

I do actually have a teacher that I see once a week for anywhere from one to two hours, so from a legal standpoint I'm enrolled in public school, and once I graduate no one will be able to tell from my school records that I did anything different from the poor kids who are stuck in class all day long. :-D
