Topic: Rules and how this forum works.

In this forum, one week is one rpg day. Traveling to another planet is also one rpg day.

Also when you post, post in bold where your character is and what character your playing as

Rule one: a maximum of two characters per player, one good and one bad, or two good, or two bad, or however you choose.

Rule two: Use common courtesy always

And those are my rules, see simple no?

Break them and I give you a warning, break them again and your banned for two rpg days, if you mess up again your gone for good and your characters killed.

Rules for the Sith Academy:

Here is how Sith Academy will be organized, since my fellow Sith Mod is missing in action:

At the beginning of each day, we will have class. Each day begins on Monday morning. If, for some reason, I have not posted yet, please do not assume much time has passed before class. I promise I will post at some time on Monday, and if I can't, I'll let you guys know. Just know, Monday = class period! When class starts, everyone will be assumed to be in the classroom, despite wherever your characters were previously, so that there is not a week-long attempt to get everyone gathered together (like we experience all the time in Jedi Temple). Monday will be the only lecture day, though... the rest of the week, you can have your characters moving around WITHIN THE WALLS OF THE SITH ACADEMY, until I tell them otherwise, doing whatever you want them to do.

Don't think learning ends with the lecture, though. To aid in teaching the students, I have the following rooms set up:

Sparring room: Yes, exactly what it says it is. Feel free to have your characters spar there as much as possible. Unlike the Jedi Temple, drawing blood and bringing the other character to near death is encouraged here. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Torture room: Okay, for you more blood-thirsty (or those who need to become more blood-thirsty), there will always be a prisoner strapped to a table to torture. One at a time, please... that goes for students and prisoners! Once again, do NOT torture more than one prisoner a day! Torture is supposed to last a while, after all. But it's a great stress reliever, and makes for excellent assignments. If you want to torture someone while someone else is, just assume there is more than one torture room.

Arena: Darth Meticulus keeps a wide variety of nasty beasts to fight (and kill). If your character needs a challenge, feel free to toss them into the arena. Know that errant students may be thrown into it without any weapons.

Meditation room: Dark, dreary, very powerful with the Dark Side, and very, very far underground. Feel free to go there when you want to be alone. I MEAN IT... anyone who goes there is ALONE! NO ONE can go and "get them". They will emerge on their own. Believe me, if Meticulus needs you for something... you will come.

Sith Tattoo Parlor: Sith tattoos are very painful. If you want your character to have Sith tatoos, fine, but YOU MUST BE SENT BY ME!!! It's sort of an advancement thing, so only bad little boys and girls will be sent there. SENT there. It's a prestige thing. You earn prestige from Darth Meticulus. I'll tell you when your character is ready for the paint. Hehehe...

Mess Hall: Yes, you get food, at any time. Fights may break out. Also fine. Wait staff is droids and slaves. Here is the rule: destroy droids whenever you want, kill slaves only with permission, and within reason... we don't have millions of them. Which brings me to the next point...

Slaves: Each student can have a slave once they've earned prestige. You receive prestige from Darth Meticulus. I'll let you know when you have it.

Dorm rooms: Two to a room. The other can be an NPC if you want. Eli killed his. That is perfectly acceptable, but if you kill your roommate, the body's gotta stay, or you get another roommate. Your characters can share rooms, that is fine. Bysh and Keira shared a room. Every room will come with healing supplies... trust me, you'll need them.

Med bay: Completely run by droids. Go there if you need to, but get there on your own. If you can't keep yourself alive, you are not worthy of life. Expect to get spit on or attacked as you drag your bloody carcass to the med bay by other students. This is the Sith Academy.

Whipping room: Okay, you know there will be punishment, right? I ask only that you accept punishment. I won't be specific about what it entails, only that there is possibly whipping involved (vibrowhip). They would not leave until they were very much in pain, so no writing that it was nothing! The only proper way to leave the whipping room is covered in blood or bruises, and dragging yourself out of it! I mean it!

Any questions?

UPDATE!: Kenria's back, so now we have TWO SITH MODS!!! Welcome back, Lady Malafice!!!

Lady Malafice's class will be different than Lord Meticulus's. She will teach Lightsaber Forms (and whatever else Kenria wants to teach), and her class will pretty much take up the rest of the day. To make things easier, the students will be able to go in and out of her class, going to her to learn, but also able to leave and do other things. Kenria will try to be on as much as possible, but we ask that you be patient with him, and give him a chance to respond to your character. He does not live on his computer!

Also, Lady Malafice is a SITH INSTRUCTOR, and is to be OBEYED! Please grant her the same respect you show Lord Meticulus!

Lady Malafice's class starts ONLY AFTER Lord Meticulus's lecture. So, if it's Monday and Meticulus hasn't given his lecture, you CAN NOT be in Malafice's class yet. Okay??

Remember, Malafice and Meticulus are very different! Once the lecture has started, ALL STUDENTS are automatically in Meticulus's class. AFTER the lecture, every student can come and go from Malafice's class, but every student MUST report there at least once that day. NO SKIPPING CLASS!

Thank you.

Update:

To go more indepth into what Lady Malafice will be teaching... in her class you will either learn Lightsaber forms, or even force forms, as well only students with prestige may come to learn higher lightsaber forms, such as Vapaad, or otheres along that line. As well The students with high prestige, can learn from her force abilities, such as: Life, or Energy drain, Force Lightning, and Howl. Others yes she can, and may teach you but this was just a brief list.

Now to give you guys fair warning, Malafice is in no way kind, you make a mistake she'll catch it, and make whatever it was you were doing, harder untill you get it right... This is the Sith Academy not Girl Scout Camp... Wanna make cookies..? Then go join the Jedi, your not in the Sith to learn about making cup cakes. Also Malafice might decide to pull any certain student that may show promise aside, and select a challenge for them. So be ready some will be pretty nasty. But all this is to prove that you have what it takes to be a real Sith. Disobey her, or try to desert the Sith, and get caught by her, and she will do to your character exactly what she did to Eli, and last time I checked he had two arms before the encounter, who knows how to subtract 1 from 2? Malafice does! So there you have it... That's all for now.

ATTENTION EVERYONE!!!

It has come to my attention that, while I was gone, there has been rampant power-playing. Let me define power-playing for you: Causing another character who is not your own to think, feel, do, or be, ANYTHING without that player's permission! For instance, when Mark was talking to Narec, and suddenly, because another player got impatient, he's unconscious so Leia's character can go talk to someone else. NOT COOL!!! I don't want to see or hear of this ever again! Power playing will get you thrown out, so sayeth Lupo's rules! Never, ever, EVER power-play another person's character. When in doubt, always ask, and BE PATIENT!!! This isn't a video game, you have no guarantee replies will be instantaneous. If you're stuck because someone else hasn't posted, GO DO SOMETHING ELSE!!! If it's been a long time, ask a mod about it. If there hasn't been a mod online since you got stuck, THAT'S a sign you haven't waited long enough! I mean, there are FOUR OF US!!! Take a deep breath, go for a walk, get a girlfriend, get a LIFE, and be PATIENT! NEVER RESORT TO POWER-PLAYING!

Thank you.

ATTENTION EVERYONE!!!

How many of you are sick of people taking control of your character without permission? Your character should be free from being used by someone else, even if you are not here. When a person does so, it is called POWER-PLAYING.

How many times have we been over this? I'm sick of talking. I don't care how new you are, you can find out what power-playing is by reading these rules, which you should have done before playing.

NEXT PERSON WE CATCH TAKING CONTROL OF SOMEONE ELSE'S CHARACTER WITHOUT PERMISSION GETS BANNED!

Powerplay also includes pets, killing someones pet is illegal here, and lets just say all around not fun, if the death of the pet was an autorized thing from the owner please state so. If not don't do anything more than pet, and feed it something. Oddly enough even this issue came up.

Also on a side note if you make plans with someone please be polite, and carry through with them, let them know if there are to be any changes dont just ruun off, and assume they'll be fine with it. I mean seriously it's annoying.

ATTENTION ALL!!!

Sith Initiates: You may have noticed the introduction of a Sith Assassin. NO ONE IS TO SEE HER, ON PENALTY OF DEATH!!! She knows the consequences of being seen, and I am now telling you... if your character sees an Assassin, your character will be killed for knowing too much! They stay hidden, and not even the guards or Masters see them, though the Masters know they are there. The Assassin will not put herself in the position to be seen, and the students are NOT to catch even a glimpse of her, or you are signing your character's death warrant! DON'T END UP LIKE CHLORIS! SEE NO EVIL... or at least no Assassins.

Thank you.

Okay, I see this did not end up in Rules, which might be why people keep pestering for me to make them a Mod. So, let me paste this here, so you all know:

From the desk of Lupo...

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

In correlation to a long conference me, Immortal, Jester, and Rimera had.

1. NO MORE THAN 4 MODS, see two jedi, two sith it balances out.

2. We may or may not have sub-characters as masters which means you would rp them as npc's (Non-player characters)

THAT IS ALL

announcement one stands

So, there you have it. There will ONLY be 4 mods, and we already have 4. You may wonder about Number 2. Well, we WERE going to do that, but SOME people proved it would only cause chaos, so we decided not to. However, in Sith Academy, I am slowly, warily, handing out control over npc's, and you'll notice we've created more Jedi instructors and let certain other players play them, to help us out. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DECIDE WHO WE CAN TRUST TO PLAY AN NPC OR INSTRUCTOR, so NO BICKERING!!!
