This means tie up any and all loose ends before then, and think of where your characters would be after one month's time.

Special Announcement for Sith Initiates:

Darth Meticulus will return to the Academy after a bit of a hiatus away from it. Everyone who wishes to be a Sith Initiate, must be INSIDE THE SITH ACADEMY at the start of the new month!

That means, wherever you are, however you got there, make it so that your characters are back where they belong, please!

My new Sithy is Lord Koranos (And yes, I'm changing that to something less almighty, maybe just Koranos) He just reached the academy from a hidden Sith base on a Core world, and ready to start trainning.

CONGRATULATIONS PSYGA!!!

Psyga has gained prestige for being the first Initiate to successfully complete his mission! He has overcome his weakness, braving the dangerous beasts in the crystal caves WITHOUT his armor! He has used the Force to find the correct crystals, and will now go on to create his first lightsaber.

To any who feel this is unfair, please re-read the title at the top of your posts. SITH Academy. There are other ways to gain prestige, but just passing your missions won't necessarily do it. You need to impress Meticulus or Malafice. And they aren't easily impressed. Have fun!

If these posts are NOT FIXED, I shall DELETE them. If Jonas and Catlover EVER do ANYTHING like this again, I will not rest until they are BANNED FROM PLAY!!!!

Inuno, as we were letting Jonas know exactly WHY his posts were getting deleted, it came up that in post 1841 in the play thread, you had written an entire duel without letting Jonas write Byakuko's part. He feels she was written out of character, and asks that you change it.

Of course, you should consider it AFTER reading his apology in this thread....

I apologise to everyone affected by this powerplay fiasco. Especially to Cat, since I basically led her in it. I used Very, VERY poor judgment. (although I hadn't gotten much sleep)beating up chacters when no one was around was wrong & not even fun. Let me now if more aplogies are needed.

Understood. Would the fight between Pysga, Chloris, and Koranos be powerplaying?

That depends. Are Shadowtreader and Lady Tragic actively in on the fight? If they are, then no, it's not powerplaying. Powerplaying is when you control another player's actions, or do not allow them to act, without their permission. For instance, by beating up another player's character, and then leaving, you are controlling that character's actions by implying they stood there, took it, and did not defend themselves. What if someone did it to your character? You should always think in those terms... if in doubt, ask permission, and ask yourself, "Would I be mad if some noob got online and did it to my character?" If the answer to that question is yes, then DON'T DO IT!

ATTENTION ALL SITH INITIATES!!!

In an effort to get this assignment back on track, I am sending Saren out to get all of your characters. He is more powerful than any of the Initiates, so there is no question of his ability to do so. Just go along with it.... they will all be in the dungeon in a minute.

Lupo, and I have discussed a matter of great importance, and have come to aggree that in everyones best interest, we have come up with the idea of using a codeword, this word will indicate that you have read the rules and will be placed inside of them somewere. Should this motion pass we are still yet to discuss this with the other mods, but when this has been done we will get back to you...

The codeword would be put in your profile as a sign you have read and understood the rules, it will be required of all new members. The rules in full will be posted tommorrow.

Well, well, well... I see I not only missed the massive power-play that occurred roughly 8:43 AM my time, but I also missed all the chaos that ensued. From the insane amount of bold typing, I was able to assume Rimera and Lupo took care of this. However, I have a few things I'd love to say...

Jonas and Catlover, though you're posts were deleted from this site, I did manage to find them in my e-mail. And I just have a quick question. Please, just answer me how the hell you thought that those posts were justified?

You jumped my character, and not only that... I wasn't even here to write her fighting back! You beat her face in, pulled her hair, and practically scratched her eyes out! Did you ever stop to thing, "Hey, maybe Rumor would have a problem with this..." or, "Wait, if I want to fight with Rumor's character, then it may be curteous to ASK!".

Did these thoughts really never cross your mind? Because I honestly can't imagine them not having occured to you... The funny thing is, I wasn't really that surprised...

Now, I understand that this has been handled, and apologies have been made... So, I'm going to drop it. Catlover and Jonas, I accept your apologies. And don't worry, I bear no grudge against you.

Sorry, I saw that Ranna had a vote on who she hated. But who would she vote for if no one fought her. Basically I jumped the gun, wanting to show Meticulus that by beating his star pupil, I had initiative that Dar lacked. Plus I tried to get Ranna & Kylas votes by having only Kyla beating her after I disarmed her, thus setting up kyla for meticulous. I actually told cat to just break her nose & cut her hair short in a YIM, but she got a little extra brutal.

At the very least, the temple will stink for HOURS! At least that should have an effect on Ranna. Right? ^_-

With the permission of the other mods I would like to make a tutorial thread, basically something that would show people how to make a decent post, and charcter profile. I seriously see alot of people who dont really know exactly what should or shouldn't go into a profile, and then I see what profiles have like ten million things that didn't need to go there. We don't need a life story, and full inventory list, just something to give us a basic knowledge of your character.

I think it's a wonderful idea, Kenria.

I agree: could we just have a character profile thread only?That way we could add to our character

Example: I decided my character can understand most languages, and also can pilot (this would just go under skills but it is important to the story i have planned).

sorry for the powerplaying (i thought it was funny and may have just encoraged it by hanging threads)

I am very sad to say that, until Darth Eggs gets back, no one is to pull a prank on Gripha. I know, I know, he deserves it, and it's OOC for our characters to hold off, but I suggest this: the Initiates should band together to get him real good, all at once, when he comes back. Otherwise, I gotta send the Wookiee off on a mission. What do you guys think? Would it be possible for your characters to not do anything to Gripha for an entire RPG day (one week), even though he has a whip and would be lording it over them? Or do I need to send him away?

Sith Initiates: You may have noticed the introduction of a Sith Assassin. NO ONE IS TO SEE HER, ON PENALTY OF DEATH!!! She knows the consequences of being seen, and I am now telling you... if your character sees an Assassin, your character will be killed for knowing too much! They stay hidden, and not even the guards or Masters see them, though the Masters know they are there. The Assassin will not put herself in the position to be seen, and the students are NOT to catch even a glimpse of her, or you are signing your character's death warrant! DON'T END UP LIKE CHLORIS! SEE NO EVIL... or at least no Assassins.

None of the jedi students will be taking the Trials in this rpg. Now we're considering a sequel, note the word considering, and that rp (if we make it) will start with the trials.

Don't ask for your characters to take the trials cause I will say no.

Could you explain the 'trials'? Some of us Noobs here are new to the term. Was it that thing where luke went into the cave & decapitated Rick Moranis?

The trials are a set of tests padawans take to see if they are ready to be Jedi knights.

Ok seeing as how I've gotten numerous complaints about this I'm making a new rule.

From now on any and all advanced students must submit ONE aspect of Jedi training that they're advanced in.

Immortal Freedom for the moment that means you, pick one area of the force for Mark to be advanced in.

Mainly because, if your student can do everything already with limited trouble then there is no point for him to be here.

Also I've gotten another complaint that what Mark did with the telekinesis is godmodeling.

I agree on the basis that what you had him do was beyond Knight level, and no one is even close to knight level yet

Mark is advanced in telekinesis. The rest of his force skills are average at best.

Mark specializes in Soresu and has lately began to utilize Niman...a good pilot and technician and that's it.

And is Neo still out of play just like Lupo told me or what? Because I've left for quite a short while and I then return with me not able to use my other character and another disappointment and annoying event.

We disapproved of Neo because you had been gone for a while, we didn't know when you'd be back and you were holding up the Sith academy.

Go ahead and repost his bio and please if you make him an advanced student(truthfully I'd prefer it if you didn't cause that takes all the fun out of the rpg) then remember he can only be advanced in one aspect of the force.

That wasn't the only reason I asked Lupo to disapprove Neo. I stupidly approved him without thinking. And you know what? I'm not doing this "advanced student" crap! If he's not there to learn, he's not stepping FOOT into my Academy, just because you lack the creative skill to write anything but your pre-formatted characters in every single rpg. Did your mommy make it for you??

If Neo gets approved, I'm ignoring him. No use ruining the rp for everyone else just 'cause Immortal can't play right.
