Salvete, readers. I have been nicknamed Mer after my penname (Duh.), and I prefer that nick as opposed to whatever creative one you may think of. Trust me, I'm plenty random on my own. I don't need your random nicknames as well. (Said reluctance to partake in randomness only extends to what I'm called; I welcome everything else.)

So... I'm the Admin of this forum (oh wait, I'm on the 007 account... let's make that the Mod), so I can edit your posts, delete them, and pretty much mess around with you whenever I want to. Generally speaking, I almost never do such a thing. (I would say never, but unfortunately some people have proof of my nefarious deeds with the Shiny Shield.) If I do, it's for my own amusement, like everything else in this forum.

I'm a southern lass with a penchant for sarcasm and macabre RPs, and I doubt that you'll ever be able to change that. (Why would you want to, really? I'm much cooler to be around when I'm crazy and/or funny.) Deets about my life will not be forthcoming, unless I'm bitching about a test or my mother. (Yes, I have one of those. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I was not born all-knowing. Whether I've achieved that status is for you to determine.) ;)

I'm insane when I'm hyped up on carbs and sugar (which is a lot; one of my RL friends made the observation that sugar and carbs comprise practically my entire diet, and she's definitely right), and said insanity does not manifest itself in an overuse of exclamation points, but rather a series of increasingly odd questions/comments. I'm quite lazy, and while I've asked people before to bitch at me to update... it's never worked. Ergo the singular and short chappie I have up now. (Warning: not fit for kiddies.)

I'm usually found around the top couple forums when I'm not here. PMs can work too, but I'm out of the habit of checking my email account. (Btw, I created the email attached to mergirl006 especially so I could make this forum, and I probably won't be checking it for months, so don't write to that account if you want an answer in the next decade.)

I have a feeling I'm about to crash from a sugar low soon, so I'll end this here and get to bed. And ugh, I'm getting up in five hours...

Second post!

If you've managed to hang around MR fandom without meeting me/hearing tell of me, I dunno how you've done it. Especially if you visit the forums. I'm not quite as A-list as Myrah, Maiyri, and Supergirrl (who you should have heard of if you haven't), but I'm definitely up there on the B-list.

My penname is misleading -- I'm female. I tend to make far too many jokes for my own good, and if I crack a joke after something tragic happens, well, that's how I roll. I am a fount of information, but am clueless when it comes to human interaction. And I've been on the Internet long enough that whatever it was, it probably won't faze me.

As far as writing goes, I do a lot of MR (including Mai Novel, Echo Flux), but am dabbling in Batman at the moment with some Scarecrow!fic. I write. A lot. Like, a lot a lot. But I'm extremely lazy, and like to keep to update schedules, and have AP classes and general insanity going on, so new stuff may or may not be few and far between.

Fifth post. Nay, I mean fourth. Damn my numerical memory. *Giggles* And I just discovered this forum! (Previously had no idea it existed, or perhaps it was the other forum of Mer's...)

You probably know who I am. If Griff's B-List then I'm probably hanging around D/E/F list, half out of people not knowing I exist, half out of never continuing my tides of oneshots, half out of being sort of new to the forums. (I don't care if that's thee halves. Did I or did I not just tell you I can't count?) Well, not so new anymore. But you know what I mean, it was last year sometime...

I'm very... obsessive. I can be funny sometimes. Lately I'm obsessed with KH, and I've got heaps unposted fic for it, but the majority's weird and creepy disturbing, and can only be accessed by PM. :)
