They have starship technology and much better weapons and equipment. And many have been offplanet a lot.

Basically, they know how to fly ships and use more modern or just more modernized weaponry.

Heh-heh, the blastsword is an interesting concept but perhaps too purty for a Tusken :P

The Gant-Zarvel carbine is designed for guerilla figters which would suit Hrr'hHr'rk. But the heavy blaster rifle is designed for the deserts, like you said. Though it has been said to be cumbersome.

I don't know what kind of upgrades... other than a scope, better barrel, etc... basic stuff

As for the rifle.... the heavy one seems more useful... perhaps you can give him a heavy blaster pistol to use as a quicker draw and less cumbersome weapon?

You could also have his gaderffi have a vibrosword blade on the bottom for better cutting power?
