Opening an access hatch in engineering, Rika shouldered her toolbag and dropped down inside. Setting the bag down, the Squib put on some insulated gloves and goggles, then set to work replacing damaged cables and circuitry.

"She be half dead, how she get us here in one peace I d'know," he said as he put one tool away and got another one out.

"We fix though, but it take a while. Not sure if we get'r fixed in time."

Rika raised her goggles to look at her friend. She smiled and replied, "Heart be tough little ship. In future though, me thinks we best avoid getting shot by slimey's zap cannon." She finished repairing the damaged cables and set the panel back in place, "I wanna be old when I die" she added, "But if it happen before then, I not be afraid 'cause I know the Heart be in good hands."

"My thanks, But you stay'n here till we reancold old prunes." He scrood a panel back on and moved to the sheald generaters.

Examining one of the shield generators, Rika said, "They not look bad on outside." She walked over to the control station and sat down. Typing in commands, she brought up a holodisplay of the shield system, a JC-671 projector. Several parts blinked either yellow or orange, indicating minor to moderate damage. "Well, let's get to work, Raido. This shouldn't take too long, then we can get some lunch. I is starvin.'"

Raido nodded as he began the repares to the shield Generates. "I agree, I Is to." Just then his stomach growled.

Working with Raido, it didn't take long to get the Heart fully functional again. Tossing her hydrospanner into her bag, Rika wiped her brow and said, "Well, that be done. Ship won't blow up on us now, Raido, at least I hope not. We get washed up, then meet in cafeteria." The captain shouldered her bag and stood. "See ya in a bit" she added as she left.

Tossing her bag onto the couch, Rika walked over to her desk and picked up a framed picture of her family. She hadn't seen Beego, Lutri, or Jo in nearly four months. She would have to see about getting everybody together for dinner sometime soon. Setting the picture down, Rika went to take a shower.

Outside the Royal Quarters, Big Deelie, Royal Messenger

The Squib ran over to the door to the King's chambers and knocked on it....

A knocking at the door roused Milo from his nap. Getting off the couch, the king walked over to the door and opened it to see a messenger standing there. "You have something for me?" he asked, hoping it wasn't more bad news...

The messenger handed the Squib King a datapad listing what his analyst had managed to figure out about the Ugor's new warship and its fleet....

Taking the datapad from the messenger, Milo studied it for a few moments. The glow from the screen made him seem far older than his thirty years. "It just as I feared" he said to himself, "Sundered Heart be attacked by old weapon from Clone Wars. I get bad feeling about this." He looked up at the messenger and said, "Thank you for getting this to me."

The king went over to his couch and sat down. "May Heavens of beyond Squibly Graces give mercy to us all" he whispered, wondering what his people had done to deserve this.

The Royal Messenger bowed and asked what his king would have him do next?

Connecting his gauntlet comm. link to the Big Deelie's communication array, Milo spoke to ever Squib in the fleet:

"All crewbeings, get ready for a possible attack on all fronts. Ugors be armed with very deadly ships now, so we gotta be ready for anything they gonna throw at us! Those slimeys attack our ships, steals our finds, and kills good Squibs for too long, so when they shows up tryin' to kill us here, we gonna blast 'em back to stankpit where they crawl out of!"

Switching off his comm. link, Milo turned to the Royal Messenger and said, "Tell all Squibs of big high important ranks to meet me in audience chamber. We gots a battle to talk about." He left and went to his audience chamber to wait for his ship commanders.

Raido finished up and put his tools away. "I be there shortly." With that he left for his cabin

"Me thinks I's in need of a rinse, I's got Greece and oil spots and I smell like dirty socks." With that he to jumped in the show. Then changed clothes and headed for the cafeteria.

"It's acutely a good thing your helpin, with events lately sqibs beed all the help they's can get. don't know if it enough though, with what I here ugers go big ships now."

Rika had just sat down at a table to wait for Raido, when Milo spoke to everyone over the intercom, telling the fleet to be prepared for a possible attack, and for all the ship commanders to gather in the Deelie's audience chamber, to discuss battle tactics. she looked longingly at her lunch, but knew the safety of her people was more important. Switching on her comm. link, Rika contacted Raido and said, "Lunch gonna have to wait, Raido. Meet me in hangar bay. We fly V-wings over to Big Deelie. No need to take whole ship." She got up, pushed her chair in, and left for the hangar bay.

Rika sat in the cockpit of her fighter, patiently waiting for her friend to arrive.

"Yeah... that is certainly bad news. Hopefully, they are still testing it out and won't attack for awhile. We'll need all the time we can get with that thing on the loose!"

Raido wasn't to far from the Cafeteria when he got the message. "Yeah, ok I be right there." With that he terned around and headed to the hanger bay.

Raido reached the sundered heart and went strait to the hanger bay. Hoping in the the copilot seat of the fighter he got everything on his side prepared to take of.

"I know." It was then heard e the message on the intercom. "Gotta go, big meeting gonna take place." With that headed for the audience room.

Widget, enroute to the Big Deelie, Rika

Boarding her shuttle and powering up the engines, Rika let Widget clear the hangar and flew towards the Big Deelie. She looked out the cockpit windows, observing the other shuttles and fighters headed back to the king's momship. "We gots all kinds of koovy ships and big guns in our fleet" she said, "Boy, the slimies are in for a surprise, right Raido?"

Raido looked out his window and saw all the ships that were coming. "Oh yeah! We gots a real nasty surprise for them slimies, you bet."

Landing her ship amidst the many fighters, Rika shut down the engines and got up. "Well, let's go see what King Milo has planned to skoosh the slimies" she said, grinning, "I bet it's gonna be a good one." She got a meatball sub from the galley and gave half to Raido, "We be able to think better if our tummies not sound like podracer engines." She took a big bite out of hers and headed for the boarding ramp. Rika left the Widget and made her way across the hangar.

"Yeah I bet it is." he said getting out of the ship and following behind her. When she offered half the sub to him he took it.

"Yeah I think so to, sides I starts to feel sicky if I waits to long for food."

With that he started in on the sub as he followed her off the boarding ramp and headed across the hangar.

After a short walk through the ship, Rika entered the audience chamber and sat down to listen to King Milo.

Standing up and walking around the room as he usually did, Milo looked around at his captains and said, "I thinks all opinions be important, so what be your ideas and battle tacticalities for smashing the slimies?"

"We should blast Ugor slimes and wipe Galaxy clean of them!!!!"

This started a bit of an uproar...

"Quiet down!" Milo roared. He turned to the captain with a rare scowl on his face. "So you suggests, captain, we go on roaring revengeful rampage, and kills every last slimey in galaxy?" he asked, propping his hands on his hips and waiting for an answer, "But what about all the other non-slimey scavengers, we kill 'em too?"

"Only those who threat'n us!!! Slimy's deserve death and while we sit here they be sceeming and prob'bly hurting otha Squibs!!!"

This increased the uproar between those that agreed and disagreed!!!!

Milo pushed several buttons on his gauntlet, creating a feedback loop in the intercom system, which then emitted an ear-piercing screech. He plugged his ears and waited for his captains to shut up and listen.

Switching off the feedback loop, Milo stood and continued strolling around the room as he spoke. "Now that you all be ready to listen" he said, looking around at his captains, "What be your ideas for destroying new slimey weapon, so it not destroy you?" He went over to the central holoprojector and brought up a basic schematic of the deadly warship.

"From what I learned of attack on Captain Fenn's ship, slimey weapon has a big, nasty ion cannon" Milo explained, "The Heart has energy flux gadget, which made hit by cannon weaker, but still messed up lots of circuits. Your ships don't, so unless we somehow make one for each of you, we gots to come up with battle plan to destroy slimey ship quick-like, so nobody on our side get killed."

"How 'bout we go in and blow up Ugor's slimy new big bad warship?"

"You might have koovy idea there, Captain" Milo replied, stroking his chin in thought, "So we sneaks team inside, they plants lots of bombs, finds a way to escape, then blows up slimey weapon from inside." The king sat down in his chair to think for a moment. "We could attract slimeys with bait ship or something, with Squib team hiding inside, like really old story of soldiers in fake horse."

Jarik and Raido had both sided against the plan to wipe out oll ugers, there would be to many casualties in the attempt, When Milo played the feedback noise the both plucked there ears to try to make it less painful. After listening to the new plan Jarik thought for a moment before speaking. "Your Kinglynes, in all honesty I not sure if these ships can take big ones on and not have more die. Plan be good though."

A ship came out of hyperspace near the edge of the territory, shortly followed by several others. Shaa smiled from the cockpit and commed the biggest ship. "This is Shaa Kyra, and we've come to help." she said.

Lucky Break, Mako

"Figures that you'd have contacts here too."

The young man shook his head and smirked as he checked the scanners for anything out of the ordinary...

"I have contacts everywhere." Shaa was again in her Zabrak form, her prefered form. "You know that."

Mako shrugged and nodded.

"Yep... so we at least going to get a warm welcome with this one?"

Bridge, Big Deelie, Comm. Officer Tembree

Watching as the fleet of ships entered the system, Tembree sent them a message: "Affirmatory Shaa Krya" Tembree replied, "Not try anything funny, or you face awesome Squib weaponry, you bet!" he warned, "We not want to wreck ya, but if ya be slimeys, we gonna blow you clear to other side of galaxy!" He switched to the internal comm. system and spoke with his king.

The intercom crackled to life, and Tembree spoke over it: "Your kinglyness, we gots incoming ships, leader be named Shaa Krya" said the comm. officer, "They not be slimeys I not thinks, but I figures I should tells ya. Ya wants to talk with 'em?"

Milo replied, "Yes, have Shaa come to audience chamber, and I speaks with them." Tembree switched off the intercom and spoke with the mysterious ships once again: "My king wants to meet you Shaa. He be on big, koovy ship. Not try anything slinky, or you get laserblasted!"

Shaa laughed at the strange accent softly. "Gotcha," she said and grinned at Mako. "You see? Been me has its privilages." she flashed him a dazzling grin before pulling into the big 'koovy' ship. After a moment's consideration, she decided to go in her current form. Milo knew she was a shapeshifter, after all.

"Anything I should know about this contact of yours here?"

"He's the King," Shaa said simply. "Be careful not to offend him."

"Yeah yeah..."

Mako helped kept his eyes on the monitors as the ship docked with the space station....

When they landed, Shaa locked the ship down then left with Mako. There was a greeting party waiting for them to escort them to the King.

The Advisor walked over to the podium and announced that the meeting was adjourned until a new one was announced by the King!

Outside the Audience Chamber, Shaa

It had taken a surprisingly short time to get to the audience chamber. Shaa wondered idly if she should change forms but shrugged. No, bit late for that.

"Come in Captain Krya" Milo said kindly, "Have seat, we talk." The king sat down in his chair and waited politely.

"Thank you, King Milo," Shaa said as she sat. "I don't know exactly whats going on here, but I hear you're going to war with people with bigger guns than you. I'm here to help." she said simply.

Audience Chamber, Big Deelie, Milo

"Thank you for kindness, Captain Krya. Ugors and Squibs be enemies for long time" Milo replied, "Not long ago, they got slimey tentacles on big, nasty ship from Clone Wars, got big zap cannon on it." The king stood and walked over to the central holoprojector. Entering in a few commands, he brought up the schematic of the Ugor's new toy. "We think it be called Malevolence, or something all evil and scary-sounding" Milo explained, looking up at Shaa, "You know anything about it, might help us win fight with it?"

Shaa shuddered. "Ah. That ship." she said. She remembered it well. "At least General Grieveous isn't at its helm this time, I suppose. All I remember about it is getting our asses kicked." she said honestly.

((I haven't watched the Clone Wars yet *throws huge tantrum* because I keep missing it on TV... I'm looking for it in video stores but all I know of the show is what my traitorous, spoiler revealing friend has told me. Not much, since I told him in no uncertain terms to SHUT UP ABOUT IT TILL I'VE SEEN IT TOO!!!))

Sitting back down in his chair, Milo shuddered too and replied, "I not be born during early Clone Wars, but my mom and dad told me Malevolence destroy entire battle fleets, then just vanish, like ghost." Just then his stomach rumbled. "You be hungry, Captain Krya?" Milo asked, "I can order us something from kitchens, if you like?"

"Jann, I thinks the sqibs may need help. They got good ships, but not sure if it enough."

"I see. I'll be there if I can, Be safe my friend."

"Will try." with that he switched off his come.
