Tommy: He did have his moments, but those mostly came in Dino Thunder (i.e. the episode where he had to fight all his previous incarnations). In MMPR/Zeo/Turbo, he always had his friends/Zordon to bail him out at the last minute. Poor Tommy is pretty much THE victim of fans writing him to fit their bad fic needs.

Wild Force acting: Aside from Merrick's actor at the beginning (he got a lot better as the series progressed), I actually think Wild Force had a pretty strong cast (at least by PR acting standards). Especially with Jindrax's VA.

You're right. Tommy in the one where he fights his previous incarnations is one. But yeah, in MM/Zeo/Turbo his friends and Zordon always bailed him out. Had they not been there I really don't know what Tommy would have done. It's so sad on how Tommy is written and seen in many people's eyes.

See I wasn't trying to say they were bad or anything, but you could see improvement as the season went on--although I think that about a lot of the seasons. They're good and they just get better.

I honestly can't say. All I can figure is that it's because he's the only one left after you pair off Mack/Rose, Ronny/Will, and Tyzonn/Vella. =/ What I wanna know is why people kept trying to pair him back off with Miratrix. She was playing him the whole time, and it was obvious that she wasn't going to change for him. And besides, the break up (nevermind that it wasn't really a relationship) made Dax grow as a character. But heaven forbid one character on the show remain single. -_-

Also, Sky gets a lot of this, but it's because the fan girls love him. If I see one more fic that has Wes die so Sky can angst (and be comforted by Syd and/or Z), I will puke. =/

Well you could say that she did play him the whole time, but you could also say that maybe during the time with him she maybe liked him or something. You could do that. But I think you'd have to play it very carefully.

I hate that. Personally I don't think Wes is Sky's Dad, I think that is just, ridiculous. Sky does have angst but he doesn't need to be comforted by anyone. And really I've never seen a fic where Z is comforting him.

And yeah, the whole 'Wes is Sky's dad' theory got old after the billionth fan fic. =/ The same thing goes for Jen being Sky's mom. And you're right, now that I think I think about Syd usually does get stuck comforting Sky when he misses his daddy-- I put Z there just on the off chance there is a fic like that I missed.

And depenging on the writer and the idea Dax and Mira could work.

Oh. No, those ideas are not good. I don't ship him with Mira just so that Mack/Rose and Ronny/Will can be together. I liked Dax/Mira in Heart of Blue, but I still stayed open throughout to see all the pairings and which one I liked the best.

I do not like those theories that all of the SPD rangers have parents who were once rangers--especially when you consider some of the choices. Like Carter/Dana being Syd's parents, doesn't make sense because of who Syd is.

Yeah, it's Syd who does. Makes sense. I read Sky/Z so much more than Sky/Syd, so I haven't seen any, but...who knows what people can come up with.

Hmmm...I highly doubt that Wes is Sky's dad. And that Sydney's parents are Carter and Dana, because I thought she was mega-rich or something. I think that Z is related to Danny somehow. Don't ask me why...

Well, now that you think about it, most Blue Rangers have been shoved aside. Dax, Justin, Chad, Ethan, and Maddie are some.

OMG, you're right. 0_0 That's pretty much the opposite of Super Sentai fandom (at least, the parts I lurk at), where Blues tend to be the most popular (Hoji, Souta, Retsu). Green Rangers don't fare much better either, unless your name is Tommy or Bridge, and sometimes Adam. =/

I think Danny could very well be related to Z (especially since unlike Sky and Syd, they share a surname). If he's her father is debatable, since Doggie mentioned that all their parents were scientist types who worked on the suits/weapons, and Danny was a plant specialist (also, I'm selfish and want Danny to be happy and alive with Max somewhere in the year 2025). I have a fic planned out where it turned out he's her cousin, but I'm not sure if it'll ever be written. >>

And I have no idea where Carter+Dana=Syd came from. Doctors do make pretty decent money usually, but yeah, I really doubt they'd be rolling in it like Syd seems to be. I think they picked them as her parents because they're both blond, and this way no one can accuse Syd of dying her hair. I know, Wes being Sky's Dad is ridiculous. I did just recently read a story, have to go back and find it and review it, but they have Jason at a funeral for Sky's Dad--and it's not Wes! I love it. And Mariko is right doctors can make a lot of money, but I don't think as much as Syd has. And besides that would Carter and Dana raise their daughter to be as self centered as Syd can be? And Dana is a doctor, not a teacher.

I don't go with the whole Danny is Z's Dad. Yes they share the same last name, however Delgado is not that uncommon, and I read somewhere that SPD rangers are not related at all. And I also like to think that Danny is alive and well in 2025, although for me it's with Kendall not Max (sorry Mariko).

Blue rangers are put in the back, but it's not like that in Sentai? Interesting.

I agree. I love Zhane and Andros. There are certain forums that really don't like Andros, it's a shame.

Oh. Huh...interesting. Thanks for the explanation. That's fine, I was just curious. I just thought she was strong, and after what had just happened to her, it kind of made sense, she was trying to deal with it.

Justin, although a capable ranger, lacks the maturity that is needed to make a great ranger and Theo's mind is on Lily more than anything else.

Justin, I don't know, I thought he was fairly mature for his age. Not like an adult, he did have his moments as a kid, but all things considering I thought he was fairly mature.

Theo, I would have to disagree with you. He spent a lot of time trying to make sure that he did his rangering skills perfect. I wouldnt' say that his mind was on Lily the most, maybe in his free time, but he didn't go obsessing over her like a love sick puppy.
