Topic: Pairings, Plots, and Genre Favs!

I know I'm asking for trouble, really... Sigh, here we go, lol... Like the title suggests, other than Bankotsu and Kagome, what pairings are your favorites? What kinds of genre and plots do you like? Sappy soap romance? Romantic Comedy? Horror? Are X-overs your thing? Just type what comes to mind!

Ah... let's see.

Really, I like lots and lots of unusual pairings, featuring Kagome, and some nonconventional ones that are hard to do nicely (such as Hiten x Kagome, seeing as he's dead and staying dead)...

To name a few:

Yay! So I'm not the only odd author who likes to read about a relationship between mood swinging thunder demons and a time traveling hanyou burdened priestesses? lol, Other than Hiten x Kagome, I do have some...*peculiar* tastes for pairings. Miroku x Kagome is another pairing I love to read about (Yes! Anyone who willingly admits they like Miroku x Kagome fafiction pairings has come to terms with being a pervert at heart!) so I'll just come right out and say it. Miroku's cute and he's just a little too mischevious sometimes. It's downright hilarious! I think probably because I like Miroku as a character that I think he could be paired up with Kagome. Heh, any cute male character I seem to like gets paired up with Kagome. Nani, poor Gome. She should have a bachelorette party!!!

I also like reading about Heiten and Kagome and Hakudoshi and Kagome as well.

I also really like odd pairings. I like Kagome and Heiten. I also love Bankotsu and Kagome. However, the new couple that I like is Jakotsu and Kagome! Before people say, yea, but he's gay, and all that junk, I know! That's what makes it so addicting! The stories are really hard to write. (assuming it's good) The author has to make a logical way of making Jakotsu go from gay to liking Kagome! But if it's pulled off it can be funny and cute!

I have seen one or two good ones with Kagome and Jakotsu. I cant help but wonder how a Bankotsu and Sakura {from Naruto} might turn out. She is by no means a weak character. I think perhaps she and Ban would keep each other on thier toes and make a good couple at the same time.

No prob. I do think if it's done correctly he would definantly be more understanding and all, after seeing first hand how women are treated. Maybe it would make him a better boyfriend.

Totally! He would be understanding. He would probably also know when to be serious and when to crack a joke. Not to mention he wouldn't be afraid to show that he loves you, I mean look at him and Inuyasha...

True. All very true. But My favorite is still Bankotsu!:) I LOVE when a guy has long hair:) Plus he's strong, and a little childish. Which means he still knows how to have fun yet can be serious when needed!:)

Yea! Got to love Bankotsu's hair. And truthfully both of them would make great boyfriends. Personally, I would have to go with Bankotsu as my boyfriend, but Jakotsu's a very close follow up!

Yea, the bad boy thing kinda rocks too! I mean, how many girls wish that they could have a bad-** boyfriend who's only sweet and caring to her and his friends? Gosh knows I would love to have that!

I have great news kittyb78! If you want to read a really good Jakotsu and Kagome fic read 'Change of Heart' Anyways, the good news is that the author, a nice person by the way, has updated it and promised to keep updating it! This is great because she stopped for like almost a year until, someone...*cough* me *cough* sent her a PM! Just thought you might want to know. (Since you seem to kinda agree with me!)

Well, yea...he would be. Except the whole 'peace will make the world go around' (or is that Christianity?) But I'm sure he would LOVE the long hair! But that still doesn't answer my question as to what Bankotsu would think!

I like that....wonder what people would say? Personally, I say I turn Jakotsu or Renkotsu into a hippie! Now that would freak him out. His best friend or a really intelligent killer saying 'peace' and 'spread the love' or 'no killing' I really should write that!

well i don't think they had hippes in Feudal era. And I think Renkotsu should be the hippie :)

I think that would freak out poor Ban the most :)

We are going to ruin his life! I think I should do it in the Feudal era! I mean I know that they don't have hippies, so it would be even stranger! Because in the Feudal era, people are use to the Band of Seven being cold blooded mercenaries, in the real world I couldn't have it be known that they would be mercinaries. Besides this is a spoof! Let's make it spoofish! (is 'spoofish' a word?)

That's perfect! :) Frog Lady helps me when she can but is also busy so i'm not sure yet if she will have time to beta all for me. She is helping me with The Heart Of A Mercenary and with The Bankotsu and Kitra's {Those are her faves} But if you wanna help with the others I could sure use the help!:)
