Okay, so, so sorry it took so long. That pesky little thing called RL was getting in the way. But everything is scored up and done and I am proud to present the scores for the 2009 Mortal Instruments Fanfiction Awards. :) Poll results will not be made public, unfortunatly. But, rest assured, everything was done fairly. The scores were done on a point scale, with the judges scoring the fics in five different categories on a 1 to 5 point scale. Then all the judges scores were added up for whichever particular fic- so the highest score you could get from a judge was a 75. No one received a perfect score on the judges' scores alone. Then the votes you recieved from the poll were added onto your final score. The poll results were make or break for more categories. There were a few ties and if there was a tie, the fics simply shared the place. The winners of Best Author were decided exclusivly on the voting, since it would be unfair to ask the judges to score an author's whole porfollio.

Pah! As a judge I'd just liek to say that it was SOOOO hard judging all the fics, they were all winners, and it was hard to pick our bits and pieces that would knock off the points. But in my oppinion the best possible fics and authors have won, and seriously? I cannot wait till next year to judge!
