Lord ArchiveTopic: Continuation Fanfict Ideas Have random thoughts for a Continuation fict, but don't think you'll ever get around to writing it? Post the idea here!! Story begins years later strictly in anime continuity (Fujitaka is NOT Clow). Fujitaka thinks about how quiet the house is after Sakura and Touya disappeared, along with Syaoran, Tomoyo, Yukito and possibly Meilin. He recounts some of the police investigation, including Li Yelan's aloof response to questions. Then Yelan calls him telling him to be prepared. However, there was way Fujitaka would ever be ready to seeing a shimmering ball of light appear in front of him which faded away to reveal Sakura standing in the middle holding a long staff, Tomoyo barely visible behind her, while they are surrounded by Touya, Syaoran, Cerberus, Yue and Meilin if she went-- each in defensive combat positions. After the awkward reunion, which includes Yelan arriving. The story of what happened and where Sakura and the other went. They've been to another dimension or several dimensions fighting threats that Sakura was called to defeat. What they've battled, I'm not sure. Though things that happened would/could be: Touya and Syaoran becoming friends, Sakura and Syaoran becoming functionally married and possibly having baby, and having to deal with being in kill-or-be-killed situations... and they're still alive. I haven't let myself get beyond this point as I have too many ficts on my plate as it is. |

Miss TakinThat sounds good, you should give it a shot, even if you don't plan on finishing it. Sounds like a good way to challenge yourself.I've been writing a CCS fic for a while now, but it's not exactly a continuation fic, seeing as how it's a Sailor Moon crossover... ^_^;; The CCS side works off of the end of Movie 2, so it's sort of a continuation (if Sakura and Sailor Moon existed in the same universe). Other than the story I'm already working on, I don't have any other ideas for CCS fanfiction. I'm currently creativity-drained. |

Lord ArchiveNext idea is a Yugioh!/Card Captor Sakura crossover.Beware, spoilers of end of Yugioh! follow: ! ! Story begins in Egypt at the tomb of the 'unknown' pharoah. A sorcerer decends to into the crypt and casts a spell upon the remains. Slowly Atemu arises and is rather upset. The sorcerer, to bind the ancient soul to his power, challenges him to combat. The game Duel Monsters, which the sorcerer has wimpy ** deck prepared for the pharoah to use. Atemu accepts the challenge, but goes to the golden box which had held the Millenium Puzzle. Inside was his old deck, complete with the god cards. The sorcerer is rather dumbfounded that the pharoah already has a deck, but that is short lived as he gets schooled hard. Atemu proceeds to leave his tomb and surprises the hell out of Professor Hawkins who was there to excavate the tomb. With help from the professor and Ishtar family, they travel to Domino City but first has to cross over the United States. At the first layover, they're in New York and Atemu learns that Tea is a Broadway dancer. Seeing him in need and the rather poor turn out for her show, she decides to help him. When Atemu finally returns to Domino City, he is surprised at the changes of the past three years. Yugi is in school studying to be an archeaologist, and Rebecca is both his girlfriend and one of his teachers. Joey and Mai are a couple, though comments is that the relationship goes hot and cold often. Hoping to gain more information, they go to Tomoeda to see one of Professor Hawkin's prized students, Kinomoto Fujitaka. While in Tomoeda they bump into Sakura twice, once at the lecture and once as their waitress at a local restaurant. A bit of a joke goes on as Rebecca and Sakura talk after the lecture about how both their boyfriends can get so wrapped up in archeaology that they get forgotten. Rebecca thinks something is up with Sakura, particularly when her purse twitches at the mention of sweets. At this point, all Atemu and friends know of the sorcerers is that they've been robbing graves of powerful people and bringing them back from the dead to be their minions. That is until the elemental sisters contact Atemu. They wish to preserve balance, and bringing back the dead flies against that. They tell Atemu to seek help from the greatest living magic-user, the 'heir of the cards.' However they don't know where 'he' is, and so point to London and Hong Kong as possible places they could be. They split into two groups to accomplish things faster: Grandpa, Joey, Mai and Tristan to Hong Kong while Atemu, Yugi, Tea, and Rebecca go to London. Eriol plays pranks and only helps them when the time is right, while Yelan tells them they have walked passed the person they wanted and sends Meilin with them. In order to win, the sorcerers building an army of powerful souls need to have their powers stripped from them. One way is for them to be defeated in a Duel Monsters battle, but that proves difficult as to face the sorcerer, they first have to defeat that sorcerer's minions. The other way is by Sakura taking the soul of animated person and turning them into a card based on what skill they possessed the most, such as Sakura turning Marco Polo into The Language card as his ability was to become fluent in foreign languages at supernatural speeds (Chinese was the hardest for him, it took him three months). Before the final battle when Atemu, Sakura and crew destroy the sorcerer's power source, which upon destruction will send Atemu back into the afterlife, Tea gets the closure she was missing when Atemu 'died' after his duel with Yugi. Afterwards, relationships firm up, especially Joey and Mai as they definately hit a 'hot' phase. Also, Tea forgives Yugi for 'taking Atemu away.' |

Lord ArchiveThe following ideas could be used for a one-shot fict or as part of a larger fict:! Syaoran has proposed to Sakura, but there's a catch to it. If she marries him, she will have to move to Hong Kong. This will cause her to leave behind all her friends, her father, and the safety and comfort of the only home she has ever known. At first she might think she would be leaving behind Touya and Yukito as well, but they would follow her. ! Flip the situation. Syaoran, as heir of the Li clan, would need to take over the position in Hong Kong. However, he doesn't want to pull his precious flower from her home. How would he convince his mother and family of the 'necessity' of him moving to Tomoeda for good? ! Fujitaka/Maki pairing. How would they meet? How would Touya and Sakura react? ! Chiharu and Yamazaki have been 'dating' since they were in elementary school. But when they go to high school, they view each other as brother and sister and their interests in romance strays to other people. Would Sakura and the others try to 'get them back together?' What if Yamazaki's attention turned to Tomoyo or Naoko? ! We all know that the love Terada has for Rika is true, but when the police find out about it-- they have a different oppinion. He is arrested for statutory rape. Rika is extremely uncooperative, denying anything wrong had happened. Can Sakura and the others do anything to help? ! As much as people want to deny it, Kaho and Eriol are a couple. And while Kaho can see the future with ease, she sometimes losses track of the present. Eriol may have the ability to see the future, but he doesn't like the ability and avoids using it. And in one careless moment of passion, Kaho is caught in a compromissing position with the 'child.' She is arrested for statutory rape. ! Combine the last two ideas, where both Terada and Kaho are arrested for statutory rape. Show the differences in how the cases are handled. Where the media views Rika as a 'poor victim' and Eriol as a 'lucky brat,' with Terada an 'evil predator' and Kaho 'emotionally weak.' ! While the word 'love' is said easily enough between the various couples, it does not mean they are emotionally prepared for all that a relationship may bring. Sakura and Syaoran have both announced their feelings for each other, so what could possibly go wrong _expressing_ those feelings? Bad sex that Sakura does not enjoy at all, stupid arguements over the little things, Syaoran's jealousy getting out of control, and various other problems that work to tear the once happy couple apart. If pregnancy is added, it doesn't solve anything only ignites even more problems. Can Tomoyo manage playing 'marriage counselor' to keep them from falling apart? Would Touya help Sakura overcome her problems with Syaoran or happily let love die? How it resolves would be left to the author. Prehaps love dies, Syaoran returns to Hong Kong for a few years and returns when they're both mature enough to handle the relationship, or they tough it out and work head first through their problems. Though one thing to point out, Sakura's magic should be an issue amongst things. In that department, she 'wears the pants' so to speak. It can also be used to help things. When Sakura and Syaoran admitt that there are problems, Sakura could do things like use The Change to REALLY show Syaoran what he was doing wrong in sex by switching their bodies. ! Sakura discovers her mother's Bible and begins reading it. She tries to find the Christian God because that was what her mother believed in. And while Sakura was baptised Christian, after her mother's death she was raised by her father who is Shinto in beliefs. However, issues crop up. To the Christians, her father is a pagan, her cards 'don't exists' as they are spirits and minor gods, and Syaoran's magic too either 'doesn't exist' or is Satanism. Sakura doesn't want to go against her mother, and yet her experiences has made her see Shinto as more fact than belief. With help from others, she finally comes to understand what she believes in. Whether or not she goes full Shinto or a hybrid Christian-Shinto is up to the author. Just a note, Sakura already is a hybrid Christian-Shinto in canon, as are most Christians in Japan who also hold some of the beliefs of Shinto and/or Buddhism. ! This one is really more a Tsubasa fict, and isn't technically a continuation... The Tsubasa crew land into a few of the Alternate Universe genres that appear on ffnet. Most of the time they do not recognize themselves at all. Especially when you have gangsta Sakura riding a motorcycle and playing baseball with people's heads, Syaoran sleeping around with dozens of girls and ignoring Sakura's existance, etc... Should be done in humerous style. And should only borrow cliched and repeated parts of the alt universe it's making fun of and should NOT have them jumping into any specific fanfict. (Using a specific fanfict could be seen as making MST fict which is banned on FFnet.) |

Lord ArchiveHad a thought that smacks the cliched 'villian that wants Sakura's power' in the face.Sakura learns of the presence of an evil being. Perhaps he unwittingly killed someone Sakura knew, but not someone in her family or a close friend (Maki or Yamazaki at the closest, but more like the painter's daughter, Yuki, or Dash's friend, Tachibana Reiko). This evil being wants nothing to do with Sakura. He can't use her powers and provoking her would at best use up some of his powers at worst get him killed. That would mean for Sakura to confront this evil, it has to be her choice to do it. She would need to become the 'hunter' to deal with this guy. Which she would have to come to terms that in being proactive against this evil, she would be provoking a powerful being who could hurt and kill her family and friends. To give more specific ideas, with Tachibana Reiko it's time for the Olympic tryouts and the final meet is in Tokyo. Sakura goes to cheer her on and Reiko wins a place on the team. Shortly after the race, Sakura feels a flare of magic. She goes to the source and finds Reiko's dead body. A magic-user used a spell to stop the girl's heart, while rare athletes' hearts have given out before and would be ruled as natural causes. Sakura confronts the murderer and learns he's part of an old and illustrious Yakuza clan. Reiko was killed for winning the race as that was not the outcome they wanted. There is no way for Sakura to prove Reiko was murdered, yet to go after killer would mean attacking a group of criminals who has magic-users, trained fighters with an arsenal of weapons including military level rocket launchers and machine guns, has business resources that may exceed that of the Daidouji family, and are vastly more experienced in dealing with threats. To fight them would involve Tomoyo and Sonomi as they make easy and tempting targets due to their business empire. With Yuki, she bumps into Sakura and Tomoyo at an art exhibition that has a couple peices of her own art showing. There's a bit of playful and embarassing bantering about how they met. 'You're not here to steal my work, are you?' It gets mention that Tomoyo's mother bought a few of Yuki's father's paintings knowing the man was fatally ill. Yuki is hardly upset about it, and mentions that they should buy her paintings for that reason as well. Yuki was just diagnosed with the same illness that killed her father. Later Sakura begins feeling an odd presence. One night during a full moon it flares to omnious porportions. The next day Yuki is discovered missing. Sakura, sensing something is wrong with this, searches for Yuki. After nightfall, she feels the presence again and tracks it down. The 'kidnapper' was a vampire and he wants to preserve Yuki as she was, allow her to have 'a better, more fuller life' than what the cursed illness would've done to her. Yuki is already dead, but has yet to rise again. Sakura flees as her fear of undead gets the better of her. Kero-chan: Geez, this is like that Dash incident all over again, only much, much more sicker and corrupted. The right thing to do is give Yuki-chan the rest she deserves, not the curse that bloodsucker has inflicted on her. Sakura, are you even listening to me? Sakura: Sorry, was just thinking about... him. Kero-chan (scowls): He made you feel schweeeeet, didn't he? Sakura (nods slowly): Kind of. But in the way Rika-chan would likely feel toward Terada-sensei if she found out he was having an affair with a second-grader. Kero-chan (sighs): I shouldn't be surprised. A vampire does have some powers of the moon that helps lure in victims, yet also very corrupted. I don't know if we should tell Yue about the bloodsucker. Yue would become obsessed with hunting and destroying the abomination. |

Lord ArchiveSyaoran and Meilin return during the summer of Sakura's first year of junior high. And it gets mentioned that the two will likely be in Tomoeda during Hong Kong school's summer break-- but that means they have to attend school in Japan while visiting. And for some reason Eriol decides to visit for a week, but he assures them no threat is after Sakura. However, their presence has little to do with the problem other than to be on the receiving end of it. Seems Sakura has a problem with the cards and her magic that either Clow did not predict, or choose to not to warn her about just because of the insanity and chaos that it would cause for Eriol to enjoy. The issue being, Sakura has her first period and it plays havoc with her magic. Cards begin to activate without her casting them. The less she has used the card, the greater the chance it has to act up. Libra in particular makes lying during her first monthly pain nearly impossible around her. And then there's the Change card which makes Syaoran's nightmare of being switched with Meilin and Sakura with Kero-chan becomes a prophetic dream. Then the various other little problems like Erase destroying Sakura's homework, Cloud fogging up gym period, Maze turning the school hallways into a real headache, Create dumping items out from nowhere 'Was that an anvil that just fell from the sky?' Course some of the fun would be Sakura getting The Talk about sex and such and it gets shifted from 'a boy and a girl' to 'her with Syaoran when she's OLDER.' ^^ The problem Sakura has during her periods fades as she gets older as she learns better control and practices with ALL cards, not just the ones she finds most useful. |

Saint XWell i also have an idea that i'm actively working right now - as in this is my current work.- What if Clow had actually had a student? and if that student of his helped in capturing the sprits of the once clow- and now sakura cards? that student was also responsible for the well being of his master and later of his two creations as well- one being unable to work because of being a lion, and the other a lazy Yue. Clow and the student had times together, not just capturing spirits for his cards, but also acting like superheroes once in a while- using the cards and other magic to help. When clow dies this student sealed the book (well if kero and yue were still there when he died, they could not have sealed themseleves into the book IMO- also may explain why the windy was the sealing card) and did the magician's one last request- keep it away from the Li clan- because of a prophecy and give it to a girl that he saw a few days before his death. Then this student enters into a fuss with the Li clan, forcing him to travel in time decades before sakura's birthday, where his family's descendants had taken into heart one warning he had written centuries (?) ago- that the tenth generation will handle the book. then the book was handed to his descendants for safekeeping and then eventually, Nadeshiko was born- the ninth generation of the student's family. the reason for her death was that her powers were too strong and that upon toya's and esp. sakura's birth, her powers were passed on- incredible amounts, causing her health to fail and die three years later- three years before she was scheduled to know about the family's greatest secret- the book. fujitaka keeps the book as a keepsake and that may explain the reason why sakura found it in the first place. In the meantime, the member of the Li clan that had disagreed with the aqusition of the book continued her bloodline, then, Li Yuelan was born- the ninth generation of the one who opened the portal of time. after learning her branch's secrets, she gives birth to Li Shaoran. And though Meilin was an arranged affair, Yuelan knew that a descendant of the student's family- the first born female of the tenth generation, will be the one fated for her son- the first-born male of the tenth generation. Then the events of CCS pass (also explains why Yuelan was so quick to help in the first movie and she allowed her son to go back to japan) and eventually, sixteen years had passed since birth. Then the formal Li clan discover who had the cards and sought to destroy her- also part of the warning the student wrote. but the student had a contingency plan for this event- three other books of cards. --- EDIT LATER --- |
