So, as the title states, this thread is for people in need of beta readers.

Now, if you are a beta-reader and are interested in a fic you see posted in this thread, then all you need to do is reply saying so. Then you and the author of the fic can take it from there, exchanging documents over email, DocX, or what have you.

If you are the actual author of the fic needing a beta reader, then what you need to do is post on here the title of your story, the pairings, rating, warnings, as well as a short summary. This will give beta-readers the chance to learn a little bit about your story and see if it peaks their interest as something that they would want to take part in (at least the editting process, that is).

This, hopefully, will make the beta process easier, since I know, from personal experience, that it is not an easy task to find a beta reader, nor is it easy for a beta reader to find something that they would actually enjoy reading and editting.

If you happen to be like me, both an author/authoress and a beta reader, then feel free to post your fics in need of betas on here, as well as browse through this thread for fictions to your liking.

Summary: Hmm....well basically Yugi is caught outside a village in Va Hala, Yami's hell dimension, and is capture for Yami as a pet for his birthday. But Yugi isn't all he appears to be and has some sort of hidden power. Yami's concern is that he wants to "break" Yugi while keeping his spirit intact (hence my title freezing fire...get it? XP). Journey together with these two as they explore the realms of their emotions and learn that things are always as black and white as they appear to be.

Warnings: Yami is so cruel and mean! So um, swearing, blood, dark, and lemon (slight noncon)

Ack! I need a super picky grammar nazi, please! My beta is down until further notice as her comp blew up on her and I don't want to stress her out by making her do this in computer lab. I can't actually give specific details because I'm looking for someone willing to act as a sort of Puzzleshipping beta for various stories, not just a single fic. I already have incredible betas who handle things like grammar, typos, continuity, etc. but none of them are actual Puzzleshippers. D: In fact, none of them even like slash! They all say they'll only read Yami/Yugi if I'm the one writing it, which is a nice ego-boost, but it also presents a bit of a problem. What I need is a beta or betas who would be willing to give me feedback on the shippy, romantic parts of the stories.

All the stories that I'm looking for beta feedback on have: Yami/Yugi (or Atem/Yugi) pairing, no explicit sexual content (nothing more graphic than what's in "1001 Domino Nights" or "Shadows on the Nile", for reference), no sexual violence or kink, um... If you have a specific question or concern, I'd be happy to answer it, but I can't think of anything myself, so...

I need a Beta for High Noon! Kytrin and I have scheduales that conflict at points. She's utterly fabulous at what she does, but I'd only be stressing her out with the additional work ontop of everything else she has going on. Especially during November where I'll be going insane! Dragon is a great beta, as are my other "regulars", and her feedback is very valuable to me. But, as I said, I sometimes worry about the romantic parts of the story (I'm rather new to writing romances), so having Puzzleshipper feedback would be a great help.
