Boo.. I'm Soooooo UBER depressed right now. I lost my thumbdrive which ahd everything in it. And when I say everything, I mean everything INCLUDING all my written and fanfiction works. All the un published stuff I was editing, half baked, half written ideas and all. And I can't reconstruct it all cause I mean, you never can and I've been uninspired for so long.

I take this as a sign. I take it as a fudging sign that maybe it's time I give up on my writing 'career' so to speak. :( :( :(

P/S : Long absence was due to holiday with my parents and sister. No internet, no computer and no one to speak to apart from my family for days, DAYS..! I almost went mad.. How's everyone doing btw?

Oh no! :( That's so un-fortunate. I'm sorry you lost all your files and fanfictions, but maybe you shouldn't give up just yet? You never know when you might feel inspired again (: Welcome back btw. It's really good to see you back :D

I'm sorry, too. But bad things always happen, and you have to live up to them. I guess. :P BUT NEVER GIVE UP. NEVER NEVER NEVER. I lost all my files, too, due to a glitch. But did I give up then? No way! Take it as a sign of hardship and try to fix it. If you lose all your files 2 times more... Maybe it really is a sign that you should give up writing and move on. Or take some de-stressing classes- that always somewhat helps you think clearer and decide which path to take after you can think more clearly and aren't so mad or depressed. I dunno. :P My Dad has become very careful with my files now that I am on fanfiction, or else I will yell at him for half a day. :) So, the other laptop has some files that I use just in case. :) I have two. One is mine, one is the family's and the one I use for my iPod. Plus the printer. :P But my family also has other computer's for themselves. THANK GOD.

Now... I know my stupid explanation sounds a bit too weirdish... But trust me, I take Yoga and it helps me a ton on fanfiction.

Also, I can share your experiences. Trust me, when I have to go on holidays with my brother and Dad, I almost cry. He and my Dad always hog the computer- since they can't live without it. But I have two to three hours on the computer- on my DAD'S computer. Which is an office computer and isn't suitable for my writing needs. My computer has everything, and my Dad doesn't have a lot. And he definitely doesn't have my files. I love my computer- it can hold a lot, even if it's old. I even named her. But I should save that for another time....

Hey guys. Thanks. I've decided NOT to give up quiet yet. But I think it's gonna be a while before I'm gonna be up and running. Reconstructing is no easy business, especially if you're fickle and absolutely overly ambitious like, working on like 10 different fics at one point of time and completing none of them. Grr.. But maybe I SHOULD learn to Back up my files. I mean, I've a hard drive, 2 lap tops, (though I've stopped using one cause it's ancient) and a family computer that's shared, that's a LOT of space.

And don't worry Lyra, I named my lap top too. Don't feel weird bout it.. :)

peacelovearchuletaandrainbows

Ha ha. :) I've had to back up stuff since my 'deleting spree' way back when where I deleted all my stories. I just learned to back some of my future stories up that I'm working on. For my collab story, I've got it all backed up on my email account and on my other laptop. :) Ya know, for safety. And I totally understand how it might take a while. After my deleting incident, I still haven't posted up anything. It has given me time to think about what I should write about, and how to make it better. I don't have to post so often and have to be way into character all the time- I can think about story ideas and put them down in the best way possible and see if they make sense. Now I have time to do that. Maybe this will somewhat help you. I know that my incident is slightly helping me.

Talk to you later, k?

Give me a second.... Your name will click to me.... It really will..... Come on.... Sue! Right? Am I right? Aw, don't give up yet! I know it may suck but don't give up just yet. Please? Haha, my mom is so paranoid about me losing my stories. She's always like "We need to get you one of those portable flashdrives so you can save it on there." But I'm always like whatever 'cause I don't think I'll lose them... But guess what? I lost like half of my freakin stories. ;(

Yeah, I don't really know if that made you feel any better... Or anything at all.... But oh well. I just felt an urge to say something, you know?

Jenny who is in your icon?

Yeahh, just don't give up yet! I've lost all my files before, including a story I was writing for my own personal benefit. It had many chapters and I was upset, but I got over it (:

You ask me this often, Geena. Hahaha (: It's Clémence Poésy (:

#1961 Oct 25th, 5:29pm
peacelovearchuletaandrainbows

My Dad was always like; "We should get you a flash drive to download all your stuff!" I begged him not to, and then I went on deleting my story like a maniac instead of saving copies so I could try to edit them. But did I give up? NO! But did I post anymore stories since then! No, because I have no ideas whatsoever! Aside from the idea I have for my school's writing competition- but that's for my writing competition. And an idea that I can't get out of my head that sounds ridiculous. But probably that's because people have the greatest ideas in the world compared to me and I don't want to copy them... LOL. xD I'm actually surprised that I'm one of the best writers in my school, as said my LA teacher. (SHE ROCKS!)

ANYWAYS... I must be the only one on holiday, so maybe I can rewrite one of my good old stories. QUARTER BREAK!!! We get a week off this week, then have a week of, then jet off to Beijing. On a plane. And I've never been on a plane without my family. I can't believe my Mom actually is allowing me to go, considering I easily get lost. Yeah... But still. I miss the States. A lot. And my brother. Though, I don't admit it. Hong Kong is just so... Boring. Specially without my crazy brother leading the way, messing things up and making life more fun and not so... Miserable. That's the only way I can describe it. LOL.

Haha.. Well, I did have all my stuff on ONE seperate drive and I lost it all so, please don't be a second me. Pretty pretty please.. Haha.. And Oh Lyra, what's this idea, do share. I've been so idea-less that any idea will sound great compared to the dull humm in my head as of now. And what do you mean you're Surprised? You shouldn't be, you're a grand writer.. :)

You live in Hong Kong, you mean? That's awesome, I've been there before on holiday, visiting some relatives. Absolutely Lo-OVE the food there. Cause I'm just so fantastically Asian like that. Hee hee.. Jetting off to Beijing? On holiday? Without your family? Sounds like bliss, Lyra.

And Yes Geena, that is what I go by. And, it's alright, totally get you bout the urge to just say something. More often than not, I say the wrong things and make things worse but you didn't, so don't worry.

And don't mind me asking Jenny, but who is she? She looks familiar somewhat. Was she in Harry Potter or something?

Wow Hong Kong, that sounds awesome. I've never been but it sounds really cool :D And have fun in Beijing too (:

and yeah, she was in like, one Harry Potter movie. She's a French actress and played Fleur Delacour (One of the twi-wizard champions) in Goblet of fire (:

TRUST ME. I have to go with my obnoxious classmates. NOT FUN. I have already been on a million 'fun class trips'- and trust me, I had to go through a bunch of crazy room-mates (this is why I really think that humans are related to monkeys.). It gets really boring after a while, considering that it's a bunch of small islands- Hong Kong. The food, I guess, is pretty good- but growing up with a fish-eating-obsessed, old-fashioned pea pod stomping grandmother sometimes gets a little bit out of whack. Especially when she cooks at our apartment. Plus, TV here SUCKS. Everything, and I mean everything I like, is late. JONAS, Camp Rock, High School Musical. I stick to DVD. The only thing that is Live- American Idol. And even that can get pretty sucky, since you can't vote. And I hate learning Mandarin. You've got four tones, a bunch of weird sounding letters and a bunch of weird calligraphy. I know it may sound amazing, but learning it everyday with a really crazy teacher is just painful. But I shouldn't ponder about the bad things... I mean, it can get really fun.

Oh yeah. I forgot about the pollution. And the weird weather. It's really hot outside, and it's October. I really want ice cream. Isn't that strange?

And that's cool, Lily! I remember that... I watched every single Harry Potter movie. :P Trust me, that's the reason why I haven't read the books yet. Just go back from a sleepover... And as tired as anything.

Hi guys!

Lyra, school trips with obnoxious classmates are a pain in the rear but unfortunately, rather unavoidable. I have to say that with the self-obsessed, airheaded gossiping girls and the boys who are up for the jerk of the year award (yes, this makes them very proud and they are constantly working on their acceptance speech..) school trips get rather tiresome, even if they're only half a day long.

Honestly, the game of cat and mouse between the airheads who are afraid to break a nail (OMG, the sky is burning!) and the idiotic jerks who walk like they have something lodged in their spinal cord, thinking that they rule the world, gets to be extremely irritating. Though, this seems to be the centre of the High-school socialite life.

If you haven't already guessed, I'm the loner, reject type but I wouldn't have it any other way.

How's things going?

#1966 Oct 27th, 9:19am
peacelovearchuletaandrainbows

It's somewhat similar in my school, unfortunately.

Some girls think they rule the world and have their noses high in the air and are so dumb that they scream out their thoughts in public. ('Hey! Where are my friends?! Oh, there are my friends!) Other girls like to push you around and leave the 'lower class' (otherwise known as geeks) to carry their baggage, to copy things from, and to do everything for them. This means I drag my duffel bag and three duffel bags around the airport, even if they are supposed to carry their own bags. When I tell the teachers, they don't do anything. (After all, they are the top of the food chain at our school, and I am at the bottom!) Those jobs are mostly left, you guessed it, to me and my few buddies.

Plus, don't forget about the boys with weird problems, as in ADHD or dyslexia or seriously, anything-

Every teachers makes ME be the one to 'babysit' them. I mean, I shouldn't complain. I get some rewards for this stuff. But still, it's hard to 'babysit' a jumpy kid who won't let go of somebody's shirt at the airport. Or trying to stop them at the airport while they are doing 'stunts' in front of the whole entire country. Which include somersaults, (sometimes) running around shirtless and doing, unfortunately, the chicken dance. My school, unfortunately, caters to these kind of boys and doesn't have many 'programs' to try to train to know what's right from wrong. And to think these boys are eleven, or even turning twelve. They should know right from wrong!

As you can see, I m a pure geek AND loser, too, so this will be pain. It will be fun for the popular people, who will just party out all night in the hotel and act like total bottleheads. And this trip is FIVE DAYS LONG. On a plane. And in my group I have a crazy boy who is actually smart but hides it with stupidity and weirdness. So, this is just great!

ANYWAYS... Enough about me. Dani (right?), how has YOUR life been?

x,

Lyra

mattersoftheheart

Hey!

Yeah, you got it right, I'm Dani.

Dont get me started on all the school drama in my life. There's this girl in my year who 'plays the field' and thinks she's so much better than the rest of us because she makes up rumours about her self and cheats on everyone and everything? What? And I'm the only normal person who'll dare put her straight and stand up to her, it's ridiculous. She also has a vendetta against me, can't imagine why...

Boys. The whole thing seems to be utterly pointless right now. There's this one boy in like almost ALL my classes and he keeps stealing all my stuff and WRITING HIS NAME on my JOE JONAS pencil case. He really irritates me. Boys. Are. Idiots.

On the bright side, this is my week off school, so thats cool, except I have a whole lot of work to do that im procrastinating doing. And my BFF is coming round tomorrow, so thats awesome too. Not much else really. Im a boring person. Oh and my obsession with Jensen Ackles is slowly growing.

How is everyone else?

Dani: True, true. BOYS. ARE. IDIOTS. One at my table in math class (they make us go into 'table groups like we're little kids in math and LA) keeps on drawing on my arm and telling me about some stupid comic he's drawing. He even drew Mitchie Torres face on my Camp Rock pencil case IN SHARPIE PEN (This girl sucks! Christian was here!) and I slapped him and I had to spend my money to get a bunch of new pencil cases because he wrote notes on the whole entire pencil case as well (Joe Jonas sucks! He's the curly cue! etc.). Also, he made me spill all my water from my waterbottle, and then he just stood there with a puppy dog face as I CLEANED THE MESS UP. Idiot.

But, we all have boring lives. If you're talking about dumb boys, Christian explains it all. I should save Jared for another time. That kid has ADHD. Christian has no problems whatsoever and he's a clown and an idiot.

Also, about homework: I have a Chinese oral essay to complete by Sunday AND a dictation (copying down characters from memory) as well. =P My Chinese teacher sucks.

Anyways... as Dani said, what's up in your lives?

BOYS. ARE. IDIOTS.

I fully and heartily agree. Haha.. My best friend is still bugging me bout his college apps. I ACTUALLY have them written now and really am in the editing works, but he's like this over eager kid on Christmas morning, wanting to open his presents. I mean, he knows the contents and he helps me proof read most of my important assignments so I mean, he already knows my style, so COME ON! People can't work with ohters oogling over their shoulder you know?!

And Wow. Sounds like you guys have got some serious overcompensating jokers in class. Haha.. They're probably jealous that girls notice the JoBros more than them.. *sigh.. But you know, I really much rather prefer stupid boy drama in my life. Okay, or maybe not. I kinda have a stalker guy friend whom I've known for like EVER who suddenly decides he 'has started having feelings' for me. Ugh....

And Dani, Jensen Ackles..? Hmmmmmm....... I'm sorry, I think I just drooled over my lap top. Have I mentioned he looks delicious in that pic.? Heehee..

#1983 Nov 07th, 1:55pm
peacelovearchuletaandrainbows

Well, Geena- I'm from Northern California, but I won't tell you where. :) My Mom was with me and she was practically screaming when Adam came. But she thought it was disgusting and gay-ish that he took of his jacket and had this sort of wife-beater on. I just thought it was pretty hot. :) But I enjoyed Danny Gokey a lot- I think I cried. The man is very touching. But tickets are costly, so they are the size of large beetles from where I sit in the 'upper deck' as they like to call those places, but there's a HUGE TV screen right there so you can see them really close up. So, it's awesome. :) But, the tickets still cost a lot. 70 a pop for an upper deck seat. So, my Dad gets three of them- one for me, one for my Mom, and one for my ungrateful older brother who sits there texting. :(

But the other year, I can tell you that I screamed the loudest when David Archuleta came out. That was awesome. :) Too bad my Mom said no to bringing posters. But she let me buy a t-shirt and posters that were autographed. I have Archie in my locker and all my classmates are like, "Archuleta should have won.' Agreed. But Cook is also in my locker. And he rocks, too.

But my Mom will NEVER take me to a Demi Lovato OR a JB concert. I don't know why she hates the JB so much... She says they are talentless. I think NOT.

Anyways...

x,

Lyra

Geez Geena

You've gone TWO YEARS IN A ROW?! God, I envy you right now. Haha. XD But seriously. I've been to one concert when I was like six. It had Avril Lavigne and Ashlee Simpson and Amanda Perez and some other people I can't really remember who. I remember Avril doing a shot out to my sister which freaking rocked! She said she had the same purse as her and she like flipped! Haha. Then we went to go get some food and I was like talking about how excted I was for Amanda Perez and such and this girl she walks up to us and we start talking to her. Well, guess who that girl was? AMANDA FREAKING PEREZ! And we didn't figure it out until later and we were so upset 'cause we didn't know and eveything.

I thought you lived in Hong Kong, Lyra?

-Geena

PS: Thanks for your review! And yeah, Mitchie had an abortion. ;(

#1986 Nov 10th, 3:39pm
peacelovearchuletaandrainbows

Well, Geena, I do live in Hong Kong. But every single summer, I go to New York City for a week, and the rest of the summer is spent in Northern California, which is why I get to go to their concerts. :) And that must have been pretty funny!!! But hey, I could have gone to a Lady Gaga concert with my BFF with backstage passes to meet her... (Yeah. My friend's parents are directors) I blew it off because it was a school night and my Mom didn't let me go, anyways. I know what you might be thinking. But, look, I am NOT a big fan of Lady Gaga. Seriously. She just reminds me of over the top Canto-pop (Cantonese pop), K-Pop (Korean Pop), and Japanese pop singers who dress in wild clothing and dance on poles. *Shudder*

SO... I'M BACK FROM MY GETAWAY! I wish I could have brought my computer. Of course, I could not. :( Sorry guys.

Beijing was FREAKING COLD! I swear. There was snow everywhere, my sneakers are STILL damp and the plane had this heavy stinky smell to it. AWFUL. But the trip itself was FABULOUS. The hotel was warm, my room-mates were really nice and I was able to take a daily shower. The Great Wall was... The Great Wall, and the Forbidden City was beautiful. Plus, the lakes of the Summer Palace reminded me of those cartoons where the characters skate on the frozen lakes. :) Yeah, I like Disney cartoons- especially Donald Duck. Guilty Pleasure. :P

And yes, Jenny- that is ARCHIE!!! I love that dude. :)

LUCKY!!!! I would never get to do that. I've only ever been to Florida, Rhode Island, and California (But I don't remember CA at all 'cause I was too young). My mom thinks David Archuleta's gay. XD No joke. Every time I listen to him she ALWAYS says "He is so gay." HAHA. XD

Well, Geena... Let me tell you this once.

Don't wear sneakers in the snow. I'm serious. Or long socks. Or stockings. No. Wear Uggs and ANKLE HIGH SOCKS. Just a tip if you're going to a really snowy place.

But Beijing was cool. I just don't want to go on the Great Wall ever again. We walked two miles, I believe, till we got to the cable car. Okay, let's make that FOUR miles. :) Believe me?

And my Mom, as well, thinks that Archie is gay. And I'm like, 'No, he's totally not! Mom! His songs are about girls! He is so sweet!'

Oh yeah... You typed in phone? That's funny! :) I fail as a writer, too. Although... I am an okay writer. I guess. And I'm going to write a new story now... I think. :)

And Jenny- is that one of the Olsen twins? It sure looks like it.

Hey!

Well, Life's been treating me well lately, I went to a Jonas Brothers Concert last Sunday and it was Ah-mazing. Best night of my life. It's definitely put me in a better and good mood to embrace the challenges that no doubt lay ahead. :). Oh! Lucky. My Mom doesn't like the Jonas Brothers, and being eleven and all the Jonas Brothers concerts being in San Jose while I live in Palo Alto, I can't go by myself in the summer. :( Plus, they don't come to Hong Kong (and again, nobody will go with me). Maybe I could get my Dad or bro to go with me. But my bro would probably go, NO!!!

That must have been amazing. I could imagine how wowed you were, and how awesome there concert is from the videos on YouTube. How were they? I've heard good and bad things about them, so, I being your kinda internet pal, I would like to know for future reference. They must have been pretty awesome.

Am I the only Justin Bieber lover here? :P Don't worry, though, I have a lot of Justin Bieber lovers on YouTube. You guys can be my JoBro homies. :P Wow, I sound perverted. Well, my class is perverted. And we're all eleven and twelve. A wasp was found in our classroom today. SCARY.

Ha ha.

Well, it really was truly amazing Lyra (?)!

They were great, I had real close seats, but not close enough to touch, cause of the stage arrangement. Nick was still a little ill, so his voice was a little strange though it did nothing to damage my appreciation of him. OMJ, I turned into a complete fangirl and if you knew me, then you would know that it's so very unlike me. I'm the calm and collected one but not then. My mom thought I was going to pass out. I fell a little more into my school girl crush and though i couldn't hear properly for two straight days, I'd do it all over again right now.

My internet pal (LOL), it was my first ever concert and it was and will remain for a very long time, the best night of my life.

What amazed me in a completely terrible way, was that Joe threw his sunglasses into the crowd and some stupid person threw them back. Too bad it wasn't my area. Oh and did I mention I yelled "We Love You Nick!" Really loud and he looked right at me and my best mate! I'm like her favourite person now. (She's like in love with him, whereas I'm more for Joseph.)

How's Life?

Life is great! Except that I got stuck with the popular dimwhits at my math/Science table again, and with three annoying boys at my Language Arts and Social Studies table. Well, who cares about core?! It's four hours of my life! I unfortunately have to stick with these stupid guys for about three months. But, oh, I survived a lot of things. :) And good luck with your papers! I have an art project. BOO!!! I hate my art teacher. I like my Band teacher, though. And PE is swimming. I HATE changing rooms. Good and band things. Though, I like my PE teacher.

Oh yeah, and my crush(es) don't even know I exist. But maybe that's because I'm a freak-o in my school and stamped as 'pathetic', 'geek', 'loser', 'bottom girl', 'Jessica Alba Wannabe (HA!), and 'Cinderella Wannabe'. Oh yeah, and on top of that, a stupid girl thinks I'm mental and has spread her 'fake evidence' around the school. And when stuff is spread around it is not pretty- it is spread to the whole entire division and HIGH SCHOOL! :O Hate the gossip system in my school. :(

Well, it must have been amazing. Lucky you to go to such an awesome concert! Though, I have been to a Miley Cyrus concert, and that was amazing as well. No Jonas Brothers, unfortunately, which kind of sucked- It was something about Good Morning America. It made me smile for half a year. :) Oh yeah, and seeing David Archuleta in concert is AH-MAZING! He's a very sweet guy. Oh yeah, and Danny Gokey and Allison Iraheta the following year along with Kris Allen! :)

Though, I wish I was you. Jonas concerts must ROCK!

@YourMySunshine: HI! I'm Lyra! I reviewed your story. It seems pretty amazing. Hope you enjoy and chat with us soon! :)
