Ok so I've created a new community that we can use to archive all the fics that belong in the Immortals section but are still in the SotL section. I'll probably need some help with this since it will take forever to find all the fics in SotL so if you'd like to be put on staff let me know and you can help me with it. It's only for the fics that are currently in the SotL category since there's no use putting in the ones that are in the Immortals category since those are already easy to find....

One more note I couldn't put it under the immortals category because you can't cross over between fandoms but I put it under the general catagory to get around this, not ideal..but it works...it's called 'The D/N Writer's Faction Archive' (might as well plug the forum a little bit ;)) and the link is...

I sent you a request to put you on staff so just accept that...and remember it's not just D/N fics..it's anything that should be under the immortals series...so basically anything with the immortals characters as the leading roles...(obviously not if daine just occasionally shows up or anything)...but yeah..there's actually a Numair/Lindhall one in there somewhere....I'm not even joking..

Sounds good! I've been through roughly 40 pages and i have about 140 fics so far....I'm pretty surprised...although the older the fics are the worse the quality, length of chapters and continuation seems to be...strange..

there's also a Numair/ Weiryin (how the hell do you spell that) one out there...;)

Just letting you know, among about 6 fics i've added in the last 5 minutes, 2 are one of those that incorporates all the books. Like, you know, challenges and stuff. Hope that's okay. There's substantial Immortals, just not every 'chapter'

Yeah that's fine, I added a couple like that since they are split pretty evenly....and I meant that I had had about 114 before..not 140, i wish...

I forgot how hard it was to sift through to find stuff you would want to read...maybe the split isn't that bad of a thing...this community should at least help those old fics not to get lost in the shuffle...

I can help out. I don't have huge amounts of time, but I pretty regularly find myself with chunks of time where I'm twiddling my thumbs because it's not actually enough time in which to do anything productive, lol.

Oh, and I did the first 4 pages (measly i know), so 4-160 i suppose. I'm sorry, I should be helping and was going to tonight, but I nearly had a panic attack. I just lost ALL of my music on my iPod/computer T_T.

I did. I seriously did cry. I was in like hysterics. I was screaming at my computer in frustration, laughing at the absurdity of it all, and crying at the loss. My friends, whom I'd called in desperation, were kinda scared. I didn't have any of it backed up cuz my PC died. The only stuff I had were CDs I actually bought before I discovered iTunes and a couple burnt CDs my friends gave me. I was freaking out. Luckily, my friend and I did [not] combine iPods [because its illegal], so she has most of our songs. She's going to [not] give them to me on a USB tomorrow. I was so relieved. But still, some songs I had recently bought from iTunes she doesn't have ... T_T what a waste of $20! More, because iTunes decided to be ridiculous and raise their prices! Some of those songs I'm still crying for. Like River Flows in You by Yiruma. I loved that song. I can play it on the piano, but I wanted a professional version to listen to so I could relax [I love piano, if you couldn't tell]... But still. I dont know if I can survive until monday....

Yeah, I'll try to work on some of it right now. Keep my mind off my loss T_T.

I'm so technilogically retarded that I haven't even been able to figure out how to get enough music on my iPhone to even worry about. I'm still buring CD's (and not always successfully...)

Anyways, I've gotten to page 149. My computer is being extremely grumpy about all this work so I'm gonna call it a night before it backhands me or something equally devastating.

That really sucks though...I have like....5,000 songs on my ipod...I would be so upset if I lost them...and like a lot of the music I got from friends...well we're all at college now...so that doesn't work. I actually lost a lot of music when I switched over to my mac...the new Rise Against cd....and the new Anberlin cd...and my Alison Krauss cd....*sigh*.....Good luck though, I hope you find a way to get it fixed!

Also...I changed the name of it to 'The D/N Writer's Faction Collection' as opposed to archive because I was going to use archive to make a community that collected any fics generated by challenges or requests or contests on this board...and then I remembered that I can only make one community :( oops...it would have been getter to have an archive of the boards work linked to the board too....

Wow, I'm impressed. My inbox is filled with the added fics. Yes, you sent me the invite a while ago and I've added some fics. Just for clarification, when people talk about pages, they're talking about going to the SotL category and then listing the fics according to publication date, right?

yeah, that's right..I started at the last page (so with the last fic) cause I figured those at the beginning were more likely to be switched over before I was done. Like at the top where it let's you go to the next page or jump to a page...just use that to tell you what page you're on.
