yeah! and to think, people out there still like tomoe better! no offense, but she's DEAD! you gotta stop livin' in the past! kaoru is the perfect woman for kenshin!

I like them better in fan fics because they're both stronger in a mental aspect. Kenshin tends to be more posessive and tender while Kaoru is a lot more free willed and outright stubborn. Otherwise traditionally, both are a little dull. Okay, maybe its just Kaoru.
