Okay....here is the sign up thread here is where you will sign up to be in the rpg...no rpg will be taking place in here...now then the characters up for grabs are...

I have a question...Do the characters have to act like they do in the anime/manga, or is it okay to make them a LITTLE OOC? I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm not going to have Bakura completely OOC, but is a little bit here and there okay?

Personality: Sometimes seems to withdrawll from the crowd. Always true to friends. Has very strong spirit. But still just as fragil as a little girl.

Appearence: Female. Layered Blonde hair down to shoulders. Green eyes. Fair skin. Skinny. Baggy blue jeans, with a short black thin strap shirt and a short red jacket.

Backgroung:

( Hope this doesn't sound too MarySue like but I have had this character for years. Even before yugi came to Egypt, they like stole my character.Copyright.)

When I was five parents died. The day the god cards were born by Pegasus and my house burned down with family inside. Lived on the streets then duel monsters came. Was able to get a free deck with Red Eyes Black Dragon. Found I could talk to cards and Red Eyes has always been close to me. Dueled on streets and got a very good deck with lots of dragons. Marik took me in and I found out about me. That I am born from both worlds the shadows and the human world. And I was the eight key to opening the shadows once again. In Egypt times I was killed from a lovers spat. Trying to stop the Yugi and Kaiba dueling and ended up dead. I could control the shadows and that's how I talked to the cards. I am reincarnation like Yugi, would come back to world when we came back. Ran away when Marik became more evil. Made bet with Kaiba that if I beat him in a game I have a place to stay. Won and lived at his house. Fell in love. But in duelist kindom when he cheated and I almost died like long ago. But Joey saved me. We fell in love and Kaiba was always jelous. Then came Kaiba's tournament I destroyed Marik for revenge since Joey was in the shadows. Then Dartes came and I was his daughter from the past(still egypt past). A daughter of Atlantis. Helped defeat him. And here we are today. Joey and I will eventually get married.

( Think I got all of it, I can change my character but only if I really have to. Might have to add more if I left something out. Thanks)

I'm sorry, but that is a Mary Sue. Sounds very much like one. Don't get angry at me, but it's all there. Tragic past, ancient past, good looking, I see no flaw, eighth key, can talk to Duel Monsters...Mary Sue. But hey, it's okay if she's in the RPG, I have nothing against it. Just saying, to me, she sounds like a Mary Sue. *hides from the pitchforks*

Thanks everyone for the support and friendship.I agree we should start. I don't think any one will join too soon. If they do we can meet them on the road.Maybe we should set up a time so we'll all be ready to talk and post.I'm always waiting for people to reply. Here's some other characters that were not listed people can be.

Duke, Rebecca, Rex, Weavel, Bones and etc, Bandit Keith, Pegasus, Noah(maybe), Mai, Eqypt people(like the guy with the ring, Kaibas father in past, so on and so forth.)

Personality: stays to herself, speaks when needed to be heard or when some one needs to be put in place. Doesn't keep anger will hidden. When happy she is scary. Loves sports and loves to spend time with techno stuff like computers, mp3 players, cellphones etc. Does care what anyone says about her and whenever she suspects some one hates her she says: "Oh well, one more person I don't have to please." Loves her sisters and brothers to death and back. She doesn't seem to have a crush on anyone at the moment and might never will.

Appearence: Shoulder length pale blonde hair and sun-golden eyes. She loves to wear blue jeans white tank-tops with a denmin jacket and white tennis shoes

Other Info: Mert is from Egypt also. Mert's mother died a long time ago and she rarely sees her father. She is the third youngest Shinera famliy she has many sisters and few brothers.

I LOVE to duel!! I'm a dragon fanatic, just like my Seto-kun. I got Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End (I named him Cedrenoten, figure out why. XD) and just within a week or so got BEUD! (Named Beauty. ^_^ Why? Say it with me- Be-U-D! XD XD) I got beat fairly often at school, I'm also the youngest least experienced (except Quintin, who's an incompetant moron who doesn't even own his own deck..) duelist there! And I finally abandoned cases cuz they kept me limited to 43 cards, so now I've put in a few more I needed. Today's the first day back from Christmas Break, so.. Let's see them beat me now!! =D BUAHAHA!!

Here's your answer computer freak. Don't really know. Which Bakura? Good or Bad. I know they have different names(I think) but I don't know them. BUt here's an idea.

Evil Bakura- obvisouly evil. Since he's looking for the millenium items he might want to look for the eight key.(Lanen)But pretty much how he acts around YAmi and gang.

Good Bakura-Don't really know him so would have to build friendship.

I also thought of some flaws of my characterLanen.. Not big but they should count.

1.never went to school. 2.poor 3.lived on streests. (stuff like that)

If you think about it yami/yugi are flawless. They lost like what three duels?

What's a male marysue called? I always seem to make my characters MArysues. BUt I am soooo not one. I like characters I could never be. IT's fantasy and larger then life.

I'm not gonna have Bakura evil...I can't write him very well like that. n_n' I'm just writing him a little...mischivous. You know, his relationship with Ryou has improved, though he still dislikes Yami and the group, but isn't trying to kill them constantly. *shrugs* That's how I write him in my stories, so that's how I'll write him here. FYI, I'm the bad Bakura, no one's stepped up to be the good one.

Gary Stues. That's what male Mary Sues are called. And Yami is not a G.S. He's is an annoying, destiny loving, ...*stops* I will not rant...there will be fans here...I'll shut up...

Hm...sorry, but she still sounds like a Mary Sue. The flaws only reinforce the fact that her past was angsty. Don't hurt me, but that's what I think.

I agree. WHEN'S THIS GONNA START? Hey, if we're waiting for more players, is it okay for some of us to take two characters? That might speed things up a little.

They are characters that are, literally, perfect. Perfect figures, beuatiful, talented, with an angsty past. (Beatings, was raped, whatever) and usually in the YGO section they have had an ancient Egyptian past with a character (Ex. Yami's wife, Seto's lover, a thief with Bakura) and/or carry an eighth Millennium Item, are the Key to unlocking something, blah blah blah. And because of them, the character of the writer's choice is head over heels in love with her the moment he sees her, no matter how OOC it is for them. Mary Sues are perfect, have no flaws, the plot revolves them, almost all the characters like her (or maybe all) and have had an agsty past.

...Get it? Cause I'm not sure if that explanation was good ebough...ah well, that's what they are, sickenly perfect OCs.

FYI: Male Mary Sues are called Gary Stues.

I can't say for certain what's being used here, but more often than not (at least where I've seen it), Marik (*heartheartheart*) is hikari and Malik (*kills*) is yami.

Bio: Young girl who only lived a few years in Egypt. She then moved to China with her parents and then on to Japan. After her parents died, she was forced to live on the streets, and was taken in by an evil man who forced her to be a ** for him. Marik saved her from that life, and she's madly in love with him for it.

Tekala actually suffers from pretty bad depression, but tries to be optimistic and perky anyway. She adores shopping and is a little impulsive, not only in buying, but in everything. She can also be pretty ditsy at times. (Blonde IS a state of mind!! Buahaha!!)

Other relations: Mai's kinda-sorta-not-really-but-still-distant-by-marriage cousin. XD

Really? Cause most of the fic I've read has Marik as the yami and Malik as the hikari. That's how I write them. Don't kill Marik (the yami)! He's my second favorite character! *glomps plushie*

Hm...Somewhat Mary Sue, but she's not a full blown MS, so that's good. It's VERY hard to make an OC not a Mary Sue.

I ask this with all OCs. How does Bakura and Ryou act around her? I need to know.
