Ladies and gentlemen, it has come to my (well, our) attention that other DGM pairings have been hogging the limelight, while our kicked puppy Poker Pair hasn't even been getting scraps off the table. Thus, Novelist Pup and I took it upon ourselves to dedicate an entire week to this amazing pairing that should have more fans than it currently does.

Regardless of whether you're all for Poker Pair or you'd rather see it die in a hole than see the St. Tyki of the Mikks together as a couple with Allen the fag, Poker Pair Week is happening from October 8th through 14th. Get with the program.

The epic event of having a week dedicated to spamming up this site with some well-written Tyki/Allen lovin' will be hosted by the one and only Novelist Pup and myself. :D Anyone's allowed to participate... unless you're nasty to one of us or someone else on this forum. I will not tolerate any rude behavior, I don't care if you are distant cousins with Zeus!

So far, Mr. Pupster and I have the following two themes locked in the slot:

Verbal Molestation

So, um, feel free to shamelessly advertise this holy upcoming event, and please, please, please feel free to strut your stuff and give us some ideas on some coral themes (hint hint)! Let's get this epic show on the road and get crack-a-lackin', folks! Come on, we don't bite. :D

MY PLOT THING: "Picture Perfet--

Allen Walker, a famous artist, has always wanted real love, and when his model, Tyki, starts hitting on him, what will he do?"

BECAUSE I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO SEE TYKI AS A MODEL. And we all know that Allen will totally make Tyki want to try some weird sexual pose for one of the pictures. ... yeah. 8D; I know it's not that good, but.. I hope to turn it in to something beautiful, anyway.

SO THIS IS WHY YOU ASKED ME HOW TO MAKE A FORUM. ;D DAM--DANG IT. D: D: No rude behavior? D: You so did that because you knew I would discover this forum sooner or later and cuss. Oh, well, just fudge.

What about the theme...uh. I can't think of one. Hey, also about these themes, what about the people who don't like your guys' sense of humor? Some of these themes can't be... to cracktastic. Not only is it such an awesome plot that it makes me eyes shed epic-induced tears, but it'll be a great thing to have a Poker Pair fic posted before the main event... like a super coral appetizer. :D (Oh, and the name of "Picture Perfect" made me giggle like a psycho... in a good way)

Kimi: Um, yeah, kind of, I suppose. D: "Verbal molestation" = Tyki or Allen molesting the other with words, so to speak. For example:

Tyki: Hey, babe, I want a piece of that rockin' bod!

Allen: ...You better be referring to the cheesecake I'm eating.

Tyki: I want to take a bite of your cheesecake.

...I'm such a dork. Of course, they don't truly act like that (unless you want them to, for the keyboard is in your hands!), but it's just a stupid example. Um, "homosexual card games" is just about vague enough to work, I suppose. I mean; there are many card games that writers can choose from, such as "Go Fish".

Um, that's why we have only two out of the six themes. The other ones can be as serious as you guys want to be. These ones may be full of crack and crystal meth, but I'm sure that you can still work with them even if they're a challenge. D: And, pertaining to those who dislike our sense of humor, I go by the following motto: "Those who love me, I wish them well and those who don't can go to hell!" But, um, perhaps not that graphic. (Oh, and what's "PWP" mean? Sorry!)

All right, guys, we may have a vast(?) window of time before Poker Pair Week happens, but we do seriously need to think of some coral themes for the masses (and shamelessly advertize Poker Pair Week *hint hint*, that's always a plus!). So, um, put on those thinking caps and please don't have any qualms over posting any potential themes that pop into your heads--even if you perceive them as "bad", the Three Musketeer moderators may not think so. :D

OH. Okay, I probably won't curse much, anyway, but I felt that this epic event needed some enthusiasm, and I did so by cursing.. or something? XD; And I'm so glad it gets a two thumbs up. 8D I, honestly, didn't think that it would make it. But the plots were eating me alive. It was like "Ho'sheet. They're gonna gettt meeeee." So I have three DGM plots sitting in a notepad document waiting to be written. (One of which I've already started. *v* ) And yeah, I suppose it could be an appetizer, and if I like it enough, it might be still going on for Poker Pair week, and even past it. (But it's like Poker Pair, why wouldn't I love it so much that I start thinking it's my child?)

Poker Pair Week should be so bloody awesome that there will be stars in everyone's eyes until December. Next December, in the year 2010. :D Therefore, I feel that even if some of us have a sense of humor that only Eddie Izzard can understand, the themes so far might manage to make someone smile.

But, off of that, I'm just a big homoface anyway. :D Might I suggest the lame yet intriguingly flexible theme of Music?

Not that my opinion matters or anything, but I think that theme would be gorgeous. 8D

Thanks for the input, Mr. Pup! :D (So, does this mean that we must scrap our first two themes? It'll be hard to let 'em go, I've grown quite attached to those lovelies. D:)

I like Music a lot; it's flexible enough to mold into any story plot that people want. :D Leave it to Mr. Pup to think of something coral! (Oh, also, I'm going to be out of comission until around 11:00 PM tonight or so, so if any more brainstorms rain epic ideas upon your holy meadows before I get home/if anyone's themes seem to be really kick ass and awesome, Mr. Pup, feel free to tex--ERR, UM, TELEPATHICALLY TELL ME the plausibles, okay? :3)

Oh, and here's a pretty horrible theme that I'm just going to throw into the mix so this post isn't an entire waste that's simply reiterating what Mr. Pup already said: Glasses. (Because how can you look at the Mikkster and tell me that his glasses are not the coolest/dorkiest thing to ever exist in the history of forever?)

Yoku: I like the Cake idea (because even though I'm so bad at handling food that I literally incinerate toast, writing about baking goodies is fun and sweet) and I'm also pretty keen on, well, all of them, actually! :D Um, I have to run because I'm in a super rush (I'm the worst God of this forum EVER *sob*), but those are some seriously kick-ass potentials. Serously. If you can, please do put theme into theme form, and I'll be back in a few hours to check up on what's cooking in the Poker Pair kitchen. :-)

Actually, as selfish as this seems, I refuse to scrap the first two themes. They are hilarious and worth attempting at, and I feel as though they can help make Poker Pair Week different than the other plethora of weeks in effect. Thereby, I will fight a bitch for those themes, like seriously.

Miss Kimi: By the theme music, I mean whatever the writer can think of pertaining to the word. :D I cannot tell them what they can or cannot do concerning the theme, as this is for fun. But, I can give you a sample of sorts. When I think of the word "Music," as a DGM-fanatic, I immediately think of the 14th Musician and would probably write something homosexual pertaining to him and Tyki.

(Besides, using copyrighted lyrics is against the rules on FFN, and that would be just silly in my opinion.)

Well, so far the themes thought of are Homosexual Card Games, Verbal Molestation, Music, Cake, and Glasses. :D There will be more of course, provided IMAGINATION takes it place. :D

Eugh, not in the highest of spirits, but I came back much earlier than anticipated, so here I am! :)

While SunMikk and I were running errands with our father, we put our heads together and came up with some coral potentials that I'd like to share with the world, yo.

The following are plausible themes that we whipped up while splitting a pizza; feel free to dissect these buggers in any way, shape, or form that you feel necessary: Money Well Spent, Shaken, Not Stirred, Fruity, Soggy, Gloves, Silver Lining, Zoom Zoom, Stud, Train Station, Binoculars, Drunken Lament, Thieving Magpie, Love Notes, Secret Admirer, Multitasking.

I understand that some of these are too general, but we did do our part! :D

Mr. Pup: Bear those verbal arms, Lt. Pup! :D I'm all for you on this one; those themes must make the cut! They make this Week unique, for the majority of the others are drowning in the same recycled version of the theme "Kiss", if you ask me. (But, seriously, Tourette's? Holy Byakuran-creeper head in the sky, that's really horrible. D:)

Kimi: Nope, you've pretty much covered it! Thanks a lot! :D Also, um, no. It's whatever you interpret "music" to be, so to speak. Annex this example to Mr. Pup's, por favor, um, for Music, I think of everyone's favorite homos being crazy, stuck-in-the-60s teenagers jammin' to some groovy beat, or something. Another person may think of "music" as Tyki sending Allen secret admirer drinks (which are totally not laced with sleeping pills. Totally) at a rockin' NYC dance club--it's however you interpret it.

Taami: I wouldn't have done it either, if it weren’t for that meddling Pup! XD (the idea of "Poker Pair Week" was mine to start with, then I got Mr. Pup to hop on. Then, the idea kind of died but was resurrected when Mr. Pup sent me a note last night saying that we should strut our stuff and do our PPW! :D :D :D) Details are fun things to now, yes?

I got a great idea! What about a "job" theme? In this theme, people could make Tyki (or Allen) a therapist/physiologist or chiropractor or any other job they desire. :D But I really like the chiropractor one. Hurhurhur... So I made it vague enough for other people to think of many different jobs. What do you guys think? :D

Miss Abre: I finally understand in a way... Kaza (?) did make the theme vague for people to think of different ideas...(?) Btw, I really don't understand some of your themes... D: I'll try to understand them... Some of them are clicking in my mind now...

It's whatever it makes you think about. For example, Zoom Zoom reminds me of those funky car commercials I was enamored with as a tot, so perhaps I'd write a story featuring Allen as the risky car driver for a televised automobile ad, while Tyki is his perverse director.

Spandex? Eh, actually... to be perfectly honest with you, I don't dig that theme all that much. I'm sorry! I just can't really think of a good plot for it besides superheroes.

So far, when I skimmed over what was thought of before, I'm all in favor for the Job and the Alcohol theme. Yes, Miss Abre, I can fully understand your dislike and such (I feel the same way towards marijuana), but! It doesn't have to be an official theme, like, it can be just a back-up theme for people who have trouble working with the locked ones. :D And I just love the Job theme because I have a very dirty mind. :D

Miss Kimi, your experience as a moderator for Yullen Week really help--but, we're trying to make this awesomer than Yullen Week. That's right, I just spoke sacrilege for the DGM yaoi fandom. :D So, look for themes that can really rock somebody's world.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are," Tyki whistled, walking through the thick forest. "Come on boy, give me something to work with here." The man stepped on a branch in all of his thought.

Looking down, he touched a leaf with gloved hands and smirked at his newfound trail. He simply loved an obvious ploy to capture him--especially when it involved his favorite underaged boy. Well, exorcist. Boy sounded rather disturbing and made him seem like a bit of a pedophile in that case.

"Pedophile," he snorted, following the trail of broken twigs and displaced leaves. "I do say that I am not one." He just preferred the company of males under the legal age. And it wasn't even like that, as he really just wanted to talk to one illegally aged boy and he was the enemy.

But, he was attractive, Tyki mused as he walked right into a clearing. "Boy?" He looked around with narrowed eyes, lips twitching into a frown. "Boy?"

And, he spotted a head of white hair at the edge of the forest on the other side. Tyki smiled. There was the exorcist! He walked with a nineteenth-century sort of swagger, one that proposed money and great sex. "Hey there, boy," he greeted as soon as he got close enough to notice the kid taking off his shirt.

"Oh my God," the boy whispered in shock. He covered his chest like there was something to hide, backing away. "Mikk--do not come any closer! I am getting naked!"

Tyki smiled harder. "I know."

...I'm terrible. D: Okay, any way, that is why I propose that theme. Because it is flexible and makes you want to think about what you write. :D

Pupster: A party? Hope you had fun and weren't food-poisoned like I was at the graduation party I attended two days ago! :D Oh, a back-up theme? That's a great idea, Ten Cents (can't call you "Mr. Pup" anymore, sorry)! We can have back-up themes for those of us who can't really work with some of the main ones. :D

I think that we have so many good themes on our hands that it's going to be very, VERY hard to decide which should be majors and which should be minors. Just like college. X3

I propose--after we get a higher number of people willing to participate--that we put up an election for the themes. :D That way we can find out what the majority wants and choose them, leaving the others to rot or to be a back-up theme. :D Pshaw, college will be my bitch...provided I can man up and get a 1300 on the SAT.
