If I was laguz I'd find a way to be a fish-laguz, because I like to swim. I rather dislike cats, and I fear heights, so.... yezzzums.

Actually Sebastian weilds a stiletto(type of knife) so calill isn't the only one. But knife sages are weak. Swordmasters with their superior hit% crit% spd and skill could whup all others.(including Generals!)

Swordmasters are NOT superior. Every class can lose to another class. Swordmasters tend to have low resistance and defense.

Examples:

Mia equiped with the Vague Katti would probably lose to a Nephenee equiped with a Silver Lance.

Zihark equiped with a Killing Edge could even lose to a Mist equiped with a Rune Sword.

Stefan equiped with a Silver Sword would lose to a Tanith equiped with a Flame Lance/Silver Lance/Silver Sword.

Lucia equiped with a Silver Sword/Killing Edge could lose to a Soren/Ilyana/Tormod equiped with an El level spell.

All swordmasters mentioned above would fail horribly against King Ashnard.

But I love Swordmasters and use all of them all of the time cause they're just AWESOME!!!

I would have to say...probably a pegasus night! Pegasuses are so awesome looking, and I would totally love attacking from the sky! My extreme weakness to archers would suck, but that's what a fili shield is for!

Actually...Ashnard is a playable character. Beat the game 15 times and he's in your party for the trial maps. He can level entire armies. I'm betting that you haven't beaten FE9 15 times yet? I've played it 18 times before I got KH2.

Falconknights are too good to pass up. Elincia can use staffs, and her Amiti allows her to strike twice and since she gets high speed anyways that 4 attacks in one turn that can kill an enemy(Give her wrath along with adept and see her crush everything in her path).

But back on topic...

I'd be a Bishop because light magic is cool and I could heal people. Downside is the sucky skill cap and Priest have no strength.

So, then I'm guessing your Zihark has all maxed stats (except for probably magic). In that case, let's look at MY Gatrie. He also has everything maxed except for MAG.

If our two units battled (your Zihark with a Killing Edge, my Gatrie with a Silver Lance), then Gatrie would be doing 20 dmg a hit with 69% and Zihark would be doing a grand total of 3 with 85%. Say that Zihark doubles and criticals... the most he'll be doing is 18 dmg... still not as much as Gatrie's whopping 20. Be in mind that since Gatrie's luck is maxed at 40, Zihark's crit % goes down to 19% WITH the Killing Edge. If you use something else, like the Brave Sword which has no crit bonus, that means that Zihark's crit % with the Brave Sword is 0... With a Brave Sword, Zihark's max dmg would be 12.

And in case you try to use Gamble, not only does Zihark's hit go down to 42%, his crit would go up to just 38%. Those numbers are not really reliable...

And I'm not even gonna try to see what would happen if Gatrie used a Brave Lance.

It's obvious that MY Gatrie is superior to YOUR Zihark. The other thing that's obvious is that this whole thing is totally pointless. Personal experience doesn't really prove anything. That's why you should use average stats instead of saying things like, "my _______ maxed this and that so it's better than everyone else!"

I'm not trying to shoot you down for liking SM's. It's your fanboyism that's irritating me.

Oh, and I'd be a Thief/Assassin. In POR, the Assassin class was pimped out with a 23 STR cap AND able to retain it's thief abilities. Not only that, but the only character in POR that could turn into an Assassin was pretty badass himself.

Yeah, Volke is wicked fast in the combat sequences. How much Def. does your Gatrie have? Since my Zihark has 29 atk. and a brave sword has 9 mt. I would have 38 base dmg.Have you tried training up Brom together w/ Gatrie? They would make an awesome fighting pair!

Hmm... last time I checked, male SM's max ATK at 24.

Well, anyway, my Gatrie from my latest playthrough maxed DEF but his SPD wasn't as lucky as before.

And I'd rather just stick to one General. I've tried Brom before but I've gotten used to Gatrie so I use him now.

I would want to be a knight (and eventually Paladin) because (and yes, this will sound lame) I love horses. Plus, my Paladins all turned out really well (the ones I used, anyway) and it would just feel safer to me, somehow.

I would probably use lances as my primary weapon because I don't think I would be able to handle going in as close as a sword or axe (which I wouldn't be able to lift anyway) would require me to. I would just be cringing the whole time. As for my secondary weapon, well, I would probably use a bow for the same reason, even though my aim sucks.

I wouldn't want to be a laguz because I'm clumsy enough in my own body; how would I ever learn to move around in someone else's?!

if this were FE8, then i could be a Mage Knight...which is a mage sitting on a horse. ^_^

as a Sage, my primary magic would be anima, and my secondary, instead of knives, it would be staves.

Oooh, let me try.

Beorc: "Super" Pupil. In Path of Radiance maybe a sage (with physic, meteor and rexbolt) or a Bishop (with physic, sleep, and nosferatu or rexaura).

Laguz: Dragon or Heron would be cool, though I wouldn't mind being a cat or hawk.

I'm so indecisive.

Sages with knives weren't a good idea, though it succeeded in making Calill less godly (with her B rank in all weapons). Magic could hit for more damage and could be used near or far.

if i could be a race i would be a swordsmaster with the skill Astra so i could hit my enemys multiple times before they could attack or maybe a lord. as for laguz i would be a tiger cause my tigers rock on my game but they are still weak to fire and thats what does me in.

all beast laguz are weak against fire. birds are weak against wind, and dragons are weak against thunder. maybe that's why Soren's not good with thunder magic--he's half dragon laguz...woops...i just let out a spoiler...^///^

I was wondering what type of Laguz Soren was... Anyway I would want to be an assassin. I will be a kick-butt female one too, who is very quick and uses powerful daggers. If I could mix some other class that is not in Fire Emblem it would be a ninja! So I'd want to be a ninja assassin, I really like assassins and I'm crazy about Naruto (The anime not the character...)

Hmm... If I were a Laguz, I think I'd either be a cat or a beast. If I were a beorc, well, I have no clue. If I could, I'd be a theif or something, but my other choices would be a myrmidon or whatever class Nephenee is. ^^

Well, I didn't realize how much people used this forum, hahah.

I kinda made it and left it there... but I'm bored, and decided to chime in, hah.

As far as characters go, I'd have to be an assassin. In just about every Fire Emblem I've played, they've always been the most sought after, and satifying to get. Their only problem; knights and generals.

Then again, Volke in POR I had on crack, same with Soren, leveling whole maps at will. (Screw Ike with his Aether ability. It bothers me, hah.) Have you ever seen a Soren with more health then Tauroneo? It's a scary and amusing feat. HIs defense and dodge were scarily high too, and I gave him created spells with wayyy too much speed and power, to the point where they were more powerful than rexbolt (I barely was able to use rexbolt twice in one round, because of fast units, and the occaisonal generic General with no speed allowed me two shots =D) because it did around 20-30 x 2. Not only that, soemtimes he got adepts and flare at the same time, halving res and attacking twice like he was using a Brave ... spell? XD

Volke and Silencer with stillettos was hilarious too, because, too fast to hit him, and he had high hit, and stillettos PIERCE. (this made me insanely happy in POR because assassins just about always lose to generals, unless you're talking Sacred Stones or something, then about all my assassins tote around armorslayers and zanbatos to get rid of those pesky paladins, great knights, and generals.)

As I slowly drift off topic from who I'd be, I just wanna say; three level twenty assassins in Sacred Stones make for easy levels.

Anyways... as far as who I'd be... it'd deffinitely be an assassin. And as laguz go, I was very partial to the Lion Laguz. I like lions, they're bad **.

Isn't that impossible? I thought adept took up 10 of a unit's capacity and all occult skills take up 20. The maximum capacity for a promoted unit on-foot is 25.

yes, you're right.

I got confused, my bad haha.

It was because I usually use Soren up close against warriors who try to shoot him with bows, and last time I played, he got two flares in a row, and adept and flare has the same aura color.

although Ike's skill is not nearly as strong as some, i do like it because it heals him...which is useful because i don't want to lose.

mages = cool because they're tanks. XD

My Soren is pretty good, he hasn't even come close to dying since chap 8. Magic doesn't even phase him.

My Ike is all but defeatable... with the exeption of the Black Knight. T.T I only do like 10 damage to him!

Ike is my best, then Oscer, Haar, Lethe, Soren, and probably Gatrie. My Volke is okay, but that's only because I gave him Lethality.

Back on topic: Laguz: Red Dragon; color: plain old red

Beorc: Halberder; color: white and black (my fav color combo)

If I were a laguz, I would want to be a hawk or a cat. They are extremely deadly as well as graceful and swift. I would love to be a hawk or a cat.

As for beorc, I would be a myrmidon/swordmaster. I love swords. A sword brings grace and beauty to whoever wields it. It's like a dance of blades. But I also love bows, so I wouldn't mind becoming an archer! A knight and/or paladin would also please me!
