Agent KrivinsCarver remained still as he watched the chopper fly away and become smaller with each passing second. He exhaled as he thought about the woman aboard that very transport. He began to have flashbacks of the times she was at his side. Remembering... The time they met after so long: “Who the hell are you?” Carver asked sternly. Audrey hardened her expression, annoyed that the man didn't even seem to recognize her. "You moron, it's me! It's Audrey Wesker! The bitch from a few years back!" she stated in a firm manner. "Who else could it possibly be?!" The time on the roof after the elementry school: Audrey chuckled softly and stepped over to the edge of the building. She peered down and saw the undead aimlessly wandering about the streets, searching for a means to feast on the living. "That is just so very like you, Carver," she remarked. "A soldier to the bitter end." When Audrey saved his life from a zombie in the subway: "Well, he won't be bothering us again," she declared with an arrogant smirk. When she glanced back at Carver, her golden hues connected with his shocked brown eyes and immediately dropped her demeanor. "Oh, um, sorry about that. Didn't mean to freak you out there," she said a bit nervously. "I've gotten so used to my abilities that I just sort of perform them without thinking anymore." The destruction Audrey had performed on the steel door: Carver went up to Audrey, took her right arm and placed her hand on the steel door. "Do your stuff." He sternly spoke as he stood back. Audrey exhaled deeply. "I thought you would want me to do this, but I had wanted to be more subtle in case our attacker was still around," she stated. "But I can get it open. Just give me a moment." The female tyrant stepped back a bit and than slammed her right fist into the metal door. The force of the punch caused a large dent to form in the center of the door. Audrey unleashed a soft grunt and then tossed a straight left punch into the object once again. The metal continued to bend inward more. "Just a little bit more..." Audrey added. The blonde haired woman threw a couple of kicks to the metal door until the object became wobbly on its hinges. She then stepped up to the door and pushed it open all the way so the two could gain entry. "There you go," she proclaimed with a smile. Audrey being unconsious in the hospital and after giving her the anti-venom: After a considerable amount of time blocking the door with a shelf, he finally rested in a seat next to Audrey's bed. He felt her forehead and the fever is still around but not as much as it was. "I didn't realized how cute she looks when she sleeps." He thought. He mentally slapped himself for thinking such a thing. The time after Audrey and Carver took a swim in the murky water: "What is it?! What's wrong?!" Audrey wondered, thinking he had spotted an enemy. Not facing Audrey and still glancing at his hand, Carver replied. "I think I broke a nail. My world is over" He calmly mocked to the woman. He then turned and stared at her holding back his smile. Audrey's face hardened into an agitated glare. "Carver, kicking your ass is extremely tempting at this moment," she growled. "That was evil of you." She sighed and calmed her demeanor until a smirk came to her face. "I suppose I'll just have to pay you back for it later," she declared. "Ahh, you could try" He replied with confidence and a smirk of his own. Just before Audrey took her shower in the police station: Carver turned to the woman and figured she has been through enough tonight with putting up with his crap and swimming in sewage. A shower would undoubtably ease her mind. "I think I should bite the bullet and allow... the "Ladies First" rule to take this one." He spoke straight-faced and in a calm tone. He set his bag on the ground near the table. "Aw, well aren't you sweet," she remarked with a smile. "I appreciate it." Audrey in the shower: The bathroom door slightly opened, due to the steam from the warm shower, but leaving no opening to glance in. Carver stared at the door for he thought Audrey was coming out but when he still heard the running water, he knew it's nothing but the flimsy door. He straightened his posture and pocketed the pen. "I should close that, before Audrey thinks I'm peeking in." He thought deeply. He very slowly went over to the door and reached out to take the handle for the close. As he did so, the door slightly opened some more with his approach. The man's heart raced as his curiosity began to attack his mind. "Don't you dare do it, Carver. Just close the damn door." He thought trying to fight the temptation. He felt tingles in his body as he gripped the handle gently. "Close it, right now! She doesn't need you ogling her body... especially like a perverted peeping tom." The man stood still and then lost the battle with his mind. He slightly pushed on the door and peaked in. He got frightened to see Audrey facing him but she had her eyes closed while doing her hair with shampoo. He caught a full glimpse of her front side but her scars had taken all arousing thoughts away. She had a vicious vertical line beginning a little past her sternum and going down slightly between her breasts and four diagonal lines going from her left hip to the middle of her right rib cage. The woman turned to wash her hair and Carver quickly saw faint white lashing markings scattered around her soft back. He quickly and very gently closed the door... The time the two approched the University via bridge: "Finally... we're almost there." Muttered Carver as they slowly continued across the bridge. "You know... You could have been there already if it wasn't for me. A simple leap and there you are... why did you stay?" He asked a bit curious to hear her reason. Although he hated the incredibly long distance walk, Audrey's presence and very helpful knowledge of the city's layout had made it bearable. Her attractive features, feisty yet calm attitude and great intelligence as well as her skills in firearms had him greatly enjoy her company. "True, I could have made it there in record breaking time," Audrey answered. "But I rather...enjoy your company at the moment. It sure beats heading out into an infected city with someone rather than be alone." She continued to follow Carver as the two ventured towards the other side of the bridge. "Besides, someone needs to look out for your best interests," the female tyrant added with a smirk. Outside the university front doors, just before they seperated: Audrey gave the man a nod. "All right, it sounds good enough for me," she stated. "Hopefully you'll be able to get your information before that soldier." "You hope... I'll make sure." Carver spoke with a slight smile. "Be Safe, Beautiful. See you in twenty." He added as he turned and dashed down the the opposite end of the building with shotgun in hand. "Please let her be careful" He thought deeply remembering she would have died in that tunnel with the hunters if he had not helped her. Audrey being duct taped to the chair and held against her will: Audrey averted her gaze towards the Native American soldier, her golden hues staring deeply into his dark brown eyes. I'm so confused on this man's intentions. He's telling me to trust him after he had me kidnapped and used my brother against me to gain information. Now at the moment, he has not injected me with that substance...I don't know if I should believe him or not. It's just difficult for me to truly believe his word... She offered a pleading look, trying to understand what the man was planning Carver stared at Audrey as she looked confused and wanting something more from him to understand. "Trust me" He mouthed silently and that is all he could really give her. Just outside the destroyed University Administration building: Audrey pulled out a black hankerchief from a pocket of her utility belt. She stepped over to Carver and held it in preparation to tie up his wound. "This isn't much, but it should slow the bleeding down a bit until you can get it fixed," the blonde vixen declared, waiting for Carver to hold out his arm. Carver said nothing as he raised out his arm and allowed Audrey to tie the handkerchief around the wound on his right arm. He kept his eyes on her gorgeous face. "I knew you would make it out." He spoke plainly. "And you didn't get hurt." he added. Audrey smiled a bit, but was still greatly disappointed in the Native American soldier for his actions. "Thank you, I appreciate the confidence you have in me," she said quietly. "A big change since the first time we met, huh?" And there is was... that final statement made by the Blonde Vixen had really struck home for the Native American. It is very true what she said. Carver really did change. It is because Audrey was willing to show concern and compassion even after everything, harsh and disappointing he did to her. Remembering her cute annoyed look, her chuckle, her nervous demeanor, her smile, her adorable sleeping form, her smirks, her compliments, her concern and especially her incredible figure were memories he could never forget. Then remembering the mean words he used to bring her down for no real reason at all had him deeply angered with himself. What made it worse is he still never apologized for any of it. But actually hoped... he would get that chance someday. He continued to hold his stare at the sky until the chopper had left his sight completely. "I... really am gonna miss you, aren't I" He muttered softly with a smirk, knowing he will. He felt glad no one is around to hear him say those words. He held his right arm with his left and looked at the bloody black handkerchief over his wound. It brought a smile to his face to know it's hers. He then stared down the road which seemed endless and started walking, wondering where it will take him. | #331 Nov 05th 2009, 12:14pm . Edited Nov 05th 2009, 12:21pm | |
