Carver glanced back to look at Audrey. He didn't know the siblings are glaring in his direction until he saw them. He noticed Audrey to be very close to the blonde tyrant and quickly turned to stare away like he didn't care to be watched.

He then placed his sachel bag on the nearby green bench and felt this rush of jealousy come over him.

"Damn this weak heart of mine. To feel someway for her or for anyone is not like me." He whispered to himself.

He also felt a bit annoyed that they talked about him which seemed obvious if they are staring at him. He didn't know what they are saying and it bothered him to a great deal. The man just sighed and placed his hands on his hips as he glanced around the area waiting for the chopper to arrive... which didn't move fast enough.

A large humanoid figured crashed on the concrete ground a meter away from Carver, immensely surprising the man and, pushing him to the ground. The Native American glanced up at the being as he crawled backwards.

The creature is a mutated form of Thanatos. Although it's the first time to be seen by Carver it he knew it's a mutation by the way it appeared. It is missing it's entire right arm due to the collapse of the university and it's left arm is three times it's ordinary size bearing a incredibly large claw. It's form also grew in size with it's torso expanded into a hard muscle shell with it's thighs larger and giving it the ability to leap high distances. It's stands at a towering height of 12 feet. Five feet taller then it use to be at.

"Holy shit" Muttered Carver.

The being raised it's arm only to have it come crashing down towards the man on the ground. The Native American quickly rolled out of the way with the hand colliding with the hard concrete surface creating a large web-like crack.

Carver rose to his feet as fast as he could and removed his gun.

Thanatos let out a large deep growl as it proceeded for the man with loud thick steps.

Albert and Audrey quickly pulled out of each other's arms and turned to gaze upon the large humanoid creature.

"What the hell is that thing?" Albert declared in a slightly surprised tone.

"I saw that thing down in the basement of this facility, but it must have mutated in the blast," Audrey remarked. "If I had my PDA I might be able to look up more specific information."

The twins immediately retrieved their weapons and aimed at the creature that was attacking Carver.

"That's the problem. Your phone was more than likely in that building when it exploded," the blonde tyrant said in a slightly annoyed tone.

Audrey offered him an irritated look.

"Yes, I am aware of that now and how it's pretty much useless here," she said in a sarcastic drawl.

"I suppose we should try to assist him," Albert replied, sounding more like he really didn't want to.

"Well it's better than just standing around doing nothing," the blonde vixen declared, still annoyed at his attitude.

The twins began firing off some rounds at the creature's backside, hoping that it would halt its offense so that Carver could get away temporarily.

The bullets pelted the creatures back from the Wesker twins' firearms as it still continued for Carver. The Native American fired at the being's front only to run out of ammo. The slide of the firearm blew back and he glared at it releasing the empty clip and grabbing another off of his belt.

Thanatos roared deeply, raised it's arm and swung fiercely in a back hand motion which connected harshly to Carver's chest. The man flew dozens of yards from the attack before slamming into the right side of a white news van. It created a large dent and shook the vehicle as he fell faced down completely winded and feeling incredible pressure on his chest.

He couldn't breath no matter how hard he tried as he squirmed in great pain.

Thanatos then turned to stare at those attacking his rear and leaped from where he stood. He shifted his weight in the air and controlled where he is going to land, which is going to end up directly ontop of Audrey.

Both Albert and Audrey saw the vile creature leaping towards their direction in midair. The blonde tyrant quickly lunged at his sister, grabbed her by the waist and pulled her to safety when the tyrant connected with the concrete. Due to the massive weight of the Thanatos, it caused a small crater to form beneath its feet where it had landed.

Once the Wesker twins were a safe enough distance from the monster, the two began to fire at Thanatos in the upper body and head region. The bullets connected, causing its dark blood to splatter all over its chest, though it didn't seem to faze it.

"Damn! Typical pain in the ass tyrant!" Audrey growled in annoyance.

"Just keep firing at it. We just need to wear it down until the chopper arrives," Albert declared.

The blonde haired woman gazed quickly over her shoulder to see Carver writhing in pain.

"Carver, are you okay over there?!" she called out to him.

Carver got in a sitting position and still couldn't breath. His face clearly showing the man is in alot of pain. He then unhooked the straps on the sides of his bulletproof vest and felt the pressure release. He let out a huge exhale and painful grunt as he fell back to the ground and lay on his side.

He removed the dented vest and slightly waved at Audrey to let her know he's still alive. He then tried to get to his feet using the white news van as some support. He also felt his chest and the pain it created with just a slight touch is harsh.

"Piece of shit BOWs." He muttered in a hoarse tone.

Thanatos grew furious with the rounds creating wounds on it's being and charge with great speed towards the Wesker siblings raising it's enormous arm to do some deadly and fierce swings.

Divine Arion

The Wesker twins dodged the swinging of the massive appendage left and right, which only seemed to greatly irritate the creature.

"Where the hell is that chopper already?!" Audrey huffed in frustration.

The monster unleashed a deadly wail and began to go into a berserk like state. It began smashing its large clawed hand into the concrete and anything within its proximity. Concrete tore up from the paved walkways and grass ripped up from the lawn.

Albert and Audrey had to quickly duck behind a cement wall to keep from being caught up in the tyrant's fury.

"That thing is entirely too dangerous to get close to," Albert remarked. "We should just find a means to escape before it detects our location."

"What about Carver though?" Audrey posed.

"If he can manage to run, then perhaps we'll slow our pace down to allow him to keep up with us."

The blonde haired woman turned her gaze in Carver's direction, hoping to see the soldier get back up to his feet.

Carver managed to stand on his own two feet when the Thanatos saw him. The large humanoid being gone berserk had lost sight of the Weskers but now had it's target and instantly charged for the kill.

The Native American tried to find his gun but he lost it when he got thrown the distance. Ignoring the gun and knowing full well he will not be able to outrun the creature, he went to the passanger side of the van and climbed in for cover. He then slammed the door and Thanatos rammed the entire right side like a rhino, pushing it across the concrete lot of the front court yard.

The wheels of the van skid loudly leaving black lines as it finally flipped to it's side exposing it's underbelly. Carver is still inside and in the back with electrical and video equipment flying everywhere.

The immense creature unsatisfied with it's destruction began pounding fiercely onto the side of the van to kill the man inside. The side of the van, Carver's ceiling while inside, began to lower and lower with each strike. The sound of metal being crushed with ease and the stench of gasoline slightly cut the Native American's confidence in survival.

"Son of a bitch!" Shouted Carver with materials falling all over him.

"What a fool. He would have been better just ducking behind a more stationary structure like us," Albert growled in annoyance.

"Well we can't just leave him like that," Audrey argued. "We have to do something."

"Audrey, the man brought this all upon himself. If anything, he deserves this at the moment," the blonde tyrant protested. "If we leave now, we might be able to get away undetected."

The blonde vixen offered her brother another irritated look.

"Don't start that crap with me again. He did assist in helping us out so the least we can do is keep that tyrant away until he can hide somewhere else," Audrey remarked firmly.

With that look on her face, Albert knew he was walking into a losing battle. The man rolled his eyes behind his shades and growled in annoyance.

"Fine, I will fire at its backside. When it becomes distracted, run over and retrieve him from that vehicle. Got it?" he said in a stern tone.

"Understood," Audrey answered with a nod.

"Good. Now go!" he ordered while quickly exchanging the magazine in his gun for a fresh one.

Audrey quickly darted out from behind the cement slab and darted over to the flipped van. While his sister was running towards the vehicle, Albert came out from behind his hidden location and fired off several rounds into the creature's upper back to divert its attention away.

Thanatos grew annoyed at the rounds hitting it's back and turned to stare at Albert. It leaped from it's spot and came down fast to crush the blonde tyrant merciless.

Carver found himself stuck in the back end of the mangled van as he tried to loosen himself to no prevail. The low right side of the van above had squeezed many objects together as well as keep Carver pinned inside. Another violant attack and he would have been crushed for sure.

"I should have just fucking ran" He muttered coldly, hating the fact his life has yet again been saved.

The full tank of gasoline is leaking everywhere around the vehicle. A dangerous factor if a spark of any kind occured while he is still pinned inside the van.

Albert flash stepped out of the way before the creature could connect with its attack. He continued to circle around it, firing a few shots at a time to draw it further away from the van.

"You had better get moving, Audrey! I do not wish to irritate this creature more than need be!" Albert called out to his sibling.

After she rounded to the back of the fan, Audrey grabbed hold of the handle to the back doors and pulled hard on it. With some effort, the blonde vixen pried the door from its hinges and tossed it to the ground next to her. Seeing that Carver was caught amongst the wiring and equipment, Audrey began to pull aside as much objects as she could in order to reach Carver.

"Hang in there, Carver. I'll try to get this crap out of the way so you can atleast try to get out," she stated.

Thanatos leaped again only to miss it's target, Albert Wesker, because of his great speed. In a heated rage the large humanoid creature continued to leap high in the sky and come crashing down one after the other guiding it's attack as it did so.

Carver tried to wiggle free as he still remained in the back of the van and pushed things in his way towards Audrey so she could removed them from the vehicle.

Finally fed up, Thanatos hit the pavement one last time and bunched his hand into a fist which collided with the ground creating a slight tremor that caused a shockwave of concrete near and around the creature to explode in all directions.

The shockwave caused Albert to lose hold on his balance. While he tried desperately to hold himself up, a piece of the flying concrete connected with the side of his right temple. The blonde tyrant yelped in pain as the debris ripped a horizontal gash above his right eye to his hairline. His sunglasses flew off his face and blood oozed down his cheek while he collapsed to the ground.

"Aw damn!" he growled in frustration while touching the wounded area of his face with his free hand.

Audrey had not seen her brother become injured while she was busy yanking things out of the vehicle. When the tremor struck, the blonde vixen held onto the sides of the car to maintain her balance.

After the quake had ceased and the van now open enough for Carver to slide out, Audrey held out her hand for Carver to take.

"Come on! Let's get you out of there!" she yelled.

Carver reached and took Audrey by the forearm.

"Pull!" He shouted.

She then began to pull and yanked him out.

Thanatos saw Audrey at the rear of the van and instantly leaped with a loud roar. It sailed through the air and finally landed on the van crushing it to the ground, creating another small shockwave.

Carver and Audrey fell to ground due to the force of the tremor but instantly rose back to their feet and continued for their getaway. The large creature glared at the two disappointed it had not killed anyone.

"The gas, ignite the gas!" Shouted Carver to the Blonde Tyrant pointing back at the van.

The gas tank on the belly of the vehicle is completely exposed and leaking a large amount of flammable fluid. The large creature still standing on it ready to do another leap.

Albert shook his head until his vision finally cleared. He saw the tyrant up on the top of the flipped van and took aim at the gas leaking out from the underbelly. The bullet ricchocted off the liquid which caused a slight spark to ignite. Once the small flames reached the full tank of gas, the car erupted into a huge ball of flames. The explosion rocked the area, causing another violent tremor to knock everyone off their feet.

Audrey was thrown to the ground next to Carver and covered her head as the remnants of the vehicle continued to fall around them.

Carver, on the ground, got over top of Audrey and help shield her with his left arm and torso from the falling pieces of shrapnel.

Thanatos had collapsed in the flames for the explosion ripped apart it's being from the ground up. It's enormous corpse is left in the flames with it's long motionless arm slightly sticking out of the fire.

The Native American glanced back at burning flames and noticed the creature being charred to a crisp. Good riddance he thought deeply. He then turned to stare at Audrey below himself. All he could see is the back of her head as he is very close to her right ear.

"You okay?" He asked.

Audrey groaned slightly as she pushed herself up to her elbows. She looked over her shoulder at the Native American soldier and offered her a weary smile.

"I'll be all right," she answered. "How are you doing?"

Carver slightly smiled in return.

"Again she saved my life when she could have left me. I owe her a thanks atleast." He thought internally.

"I'm alive... thanks to you, of course." He spoke nicely.

The man then rose to his feet helping Audrey up as well. He dusted himself off and held his arm which is still covered in blood but all of it mostly dry now. He then glanced around for Albert and noticed him out in the distance not wearing his shades.

"Well, it's the least I could do to for you helping me," she said with a small smile.

Albert observed Carver assisting his sister and became instantly suspicious and jealous.

That sneaky bastard. He had better stop trying to manipulate her or he will seriously pay for this.

The blonde tyrant averted his gaze away and saw that his shades had been smashed by some of the flying rubble. Irritated by the loss of his designer shades, the man raised a gloved hand to his temple and felt the blood had dried.

Atleast it's beginning to heal...

Albert began to walk over to the two until he was at Audrey's side. When the two gazed at each other, he offered her a slight smile.

"Are you all right?" he inquired.

"Yes I'll be all right," she said. "But look at you though! You're injured!"

Audrey attempted to exam the gash on Albert's temple but he gently held her away from him.

"It will heal shortly. What is more important is that the creature is gone now," Albert stated.

"Yeah, and hopefully our chopper arrives soon. I'm getting tired of hanging around here," Audrey said. "I think Carver would agree with that, huh?"

Carver had to agree with Audrey. He couldn't wait to leave and forget this hellish town.

"More then you know." He replied calmly.

He then stared over at the flames and the burning creature that became more of an annoyance then a challenge. He glanced back at the two Weskers and nodded in respect. He then slowly walked away to go collect his bag on the bench and maybe find his gun if he could. He flew a great distance and the gun could have ended up anywhere.

"I will offer you a proper thank you someday, Audrey." He thought deeply. "Maybe when you brothers not around."

The woman had saved his life yet again and even though he is a bit bitter about it, he greatly prefered it to be her.

The Wesker twins watched the Native American soldier step away to collect his belongings.

"That man...You must never go near him again," Albert offered quietly.

Audrey exhaled deeply.

"Nothing is going on, Albert. He was just showing his appreciation," she argued slightly.

"I don't care what it is. He was the reason for this today and you most certainly cannot risk being captured like that again," he declared. "I will not lose you again."

The blonde vixen smiled slightly.

"You'll never lose me, Albert. I'm always going to be here for you."

Albert said nothing. He knew there were truth to her words, but he would not risk such an occurrence from happening again and Carver was no exception.

The hum of chopper suddenly pierced the air, immediately averting the twins' attention to the air behind them.

"There is our ride," the blonde tyrant remarked softly at the approaching helicopter.

"It's about damn time," Audrey growled in annoyance.

Carver gripped his bag firmly by the handle and the sound of the helicopter had hm turn his stare to the sky. The air transport flew in and it had the Native American release a sigh of relief.

"Would have been nice if it arrived ten minutes ago." He muttered before turning on his heel and heading back towards the Weskers.

The helicopter caught the trio fairly quickly because of the flames from the burning van creating a large thick black cloud. It hovered over top of them and then began to descend at a steady pace till the legs connected with the concrete of the large open lot.

Carver approached the chopper with Audrey and Albert, everyone ready to leave Raccoon City for good. The Native American opened the side and allowed the two siblings to enter first.

Albert assisted Audrey to board the chopper and then headed inside after her. With Audrey on Albert's right, she rested her head against his shoulder and looped her arms around his right arm. The blonde tyrant said nothing, but glanced down at her to see she appeared to be relieved to get out of the city.

The former Umbrella scientist turned and waited for the Native American soldier to board.

Carver climbed inside the chopper and slid the door closed before taking a seat opposite the siblings. His bag safely in his lap.

"We set?" Asked the pilot glancing at the occupants in the back.

He got a firm and silent nod from Wesker before turning to stare out the front windshield. The chopper then began to lift off the ground with each passing second and ascend in altitude.

The feeling of serenity greatly accepted as Carver leaned back in the chair hearing nothing but the sound of the overhead rotors. He stared at the two across from him, mainly Audrey and the way she held onto her brother, then quickly glanced out the window. He couldn't help but want to be in that position that Wesker is in. Usually he's the one to ignore such ideas that involve emotion and getting close to another but... knowing how good it feels to be appreciated in such a way is something he wishes to feel again... Especially by her.

"How I've changed... who would have thought." The man internally spoke with a saddened mind. He felt disappointed with himself but ignored it for it's something he could never change. Even if he wanted to.

The human mind and heart of his has made him someone new. Someone he never thought lived inside. And it's all because of Audrey. How such a woman with incredible traits had the effect on him seemed completely... magical.

He just remained silent and held his stare out the window as the chopper flew over the city in ruins.

Audrey leaned up straight again but still held her arms wrapped around her brother's right arm.

"So Carver, do you have any plans now?" the blonde vixen posed.

Agent Krivins

The Native American turned his stare off of the black horizen and back to Audrey. He still became slightly jealous of her brother and the affection she showed him.

"My plans... are to do what I have to." He replied straight-faced, unable to properly answer.

He had to think a bit because he didn't know what to do himself. He could go back to Umbrella, report in and deliver his objective... or... he could forget the company all together and do his own thing. Forget everything and maybe they'll treat it like he died in Raccoon City. He nearly did on several occasions. But if he did that, if he ignored the completion of his misson, then his deal with his commander will be disrupted and he will never find... his mother.

"You guys can drop me off on the highway or something. I can find my way from there. It probably be best if I left sooner then later." He spoke glancing in the direction of Audrey.

He could almost smile at her but her brother's cold stare had stopped all attempts of that.

"That can be arranged," Albert stated in a firm tone.

The blonde tyrant did not like how Audrey was becoming friendly with the Native American soldier. The man was by no means deserving of Audrey's affections or even her friendship. He had used her for his own gain and would no doubt take advantage of her trusting nature if they ever saw each other again.

"When we reach the interstate, our passenger will be making an exit," Albert called out to the pilot.

"Understood, Sir," the man answered.

They felt the chopper turn slightly as it headed in the direction of the highway.

"We will not be touching down, so you will have to utilize the ladder or zip line to get to the ground," the blonde haired man remarked in his usual drawl.

Carver could tell Albert didn't like him. All because of Audrey it seemed. But he did understand why for he used the woman in a way to complete his own objective. If it was the other way around, Carver knew he, himself, would act the same way.

Although that didn't eliminate the fact that he grew very annoyed with the Blonde Tyrant.

"That's fine... it's not like I never used a zip line before." He snapped back delivering his own dark gaze into Weskers red hues.

#327 Nov 05th 2009, 7:48am

Albert felt the urge to shove the Native American soldier out the aircraft that second. He hated what the man had done to his sister and did not appreciate the tone the man was exhibiting, especially after saving his life numerous times.

Bastard should be more grateful. If we are to run into each other next time, I will leave his pathetic self to perish.

Audrey didn't like the fact that the two men had suddenly become so irritated with each other. She wasn't exactly sure why, but she figured it had basically had to deal with the whole situation she and Carver had gone through.

Why must men be so difficult? she thought with a sigh.

The chopper flew over the pine tree line until a large paved road peeked through. The pilot began to ascend until it was suitable enough for Carver to get out safely.

"The interstate as ordered, Sir," the pilot said from the front.

Audrey gazed at Carver and offered him a small smile.

"I suppose this is goodbye then," she said.

#328 Nov 05th 2009, 8:19am
Agent Krivins

The Native American, for the second time, didn't want it to be a goodbye. His feelings for the Blonde Vixen had grown since the last time they met three years ago. He meant is words when he said he enjoyed her company.

"I certainly hope... that it's not." He responded calmly, ignoring Albert's presence.

The man took his bag, opened it to take one of the white vials for himself and then lightly tossed the grey sachel to Audrey. She caught the bag of valuable information as he put the Daylight vial in his pouched pocket where a tiny flashlight should go.

"That's for you... to make up for my mistake." He proclaimed as he then glared at Wesker, wanting the sudden change in his objective to be a slap to the face.

Carver got up from his seat and slid open the door. The fresh wind blew inside as the rotors, keeping the chopper airborn, rang in the ears of the occupants. Carver took the rope hanging from the ceiling of the helicopter and threw it out to the concrete road below. He began to attach a hook to his belt to get ready to deploy, feeling the eyes of the siblings burn a hole in his back.

Audrey opened the satchel to find the downloaded information the UBCS had gathered throughout the facility. The blonde vixen was quite surprised that Carver had just willingly handed over such a valuable asset when he could have kept it for himself.

"Why would he give this to us?" she wondered.

Albert watched the Native American soldier slide down the zip line until he safely reached ground level.

"I am unsure, but I do believe that was supposed to make up for what he has done," the blonde tyrant proclaimed. "However I fail to see how such a trivial thing could make up for the pain he caused you."

"Yes, you are right, but he bothered to do something, so that's atleast a plus on his end," she stated while closing up the bag.

Seeing that Carver had detached from the zip line, Albert motioned for the pilot to continue onward. The man obeyed the humanoid BOW's wishes and flew over over the Arklay Mountainside.

Audrey exhaled and gazed out the window. She saw the tiny image of Carver on the highway and watched him grow smaller as the chopper moved further away.

It would be nice if we could meet under better circumstances, Carver....We shall see soon enough...

#330 Nov 05th 2009, 10:02am
Agent Krivins

Carver remained still as he watched the chopper fly away and become smaller with each passing second. He exhaled as he thought about the woman aboard that very transport.

He began to have flashbacks of the times she was at his side.

Remembering...

The time they met after so long:

“Who the hell are you?” Carver asked sternly.

Audrey hardened her expression, annoyed that the man didn't even seem to recognize her.

"You moron, it's me! It's Audrey Wesker! The bitch from a few years back!" she stated in a firm manner. "Who else could it possibly be?!"

The time on the roof after the elementry school:

Audrey chuckled softly and stepped over to the edge of the building. She peered down and saw the undead aimlessly wandering about the streets, searching for a means to feast on the living.

"That is just so very like you, Carver," she remarked. "A soldier to the bitter end."

When Audrey saved his life from a zombie in the subway:

"Well, he won't be bothering us again," she declared with an arrogant smirk.

When she glanced back at Carver, her golden hues connected with his shocked brown eyes and immediately dropped her demeanor.

"Oh, um, sorry about that. Didn't mean to freak you out there," she said a bit nervously. "I've gotten so used to my abilities that I just sort of perform them without thinking anymore."

The destruction Audrey had performed on the steel door:

Carver went up to Audrey, took her right arm and placed her hand on the steel door. "Do your stuff." He sternly spoke as he stood back.

Audrey exhaled deeply.

"I thought you would want me to do this, but I had wanted to be more subtle in case our attacker was still around," she stated. "But I can get it open. Just give me a moment."

The female tyrant stepped back a bit and than slammed her right fist into the metal door. The force of the punch caused a large dent to form in the center of the door. Audrey unleashed a soft grunt and then tossed a straight left punch into the object once again. The metal continued to bend inward more.

"Just a little bit more..." Audrey added.

The blonde haired woman threw a couple of kicks to the metal door until the object became wobbly on its hinges. She then stepped up to the door and pushed it open all the way so the two could gain entry.

"There you go," she proclaimed with a smile.

Audrey being unconsious in the hospital and after giving her the anti-venom:

After a considerable amount of time blocking the door with a shelf, he finally rested in a seat next to Audrey's bed. He felt her forehead and the fever is still around but not as much as it was.

"I didn't realized how cute she looks when she sleeps." He thought. He mentally slapped himself for thinking such a thing.

The time after Audrey and Carver took a swim in the murky water:

"What is it?! What's wrong?!" Audrey wondered, thinking he had spotted an enemy.

Not facing Audrey and still glancing at his hand, Carver replied.

"I think I broke a nail. My world is over" He calmly mocked to the woman. He then turned and stared at her holding back his smile.

Audrey's face hardened into an agitated glare.

"Carver, kicking your ass is extremely tempting at this moment," she growled. "That was evil of you."

She sighed and calmed her demeanor until a smirk came to her face.

"I suppose I'll just have to pay you back for it later," she declared.

"Ahh, you could try" He replied with confidence and a smirk of his own.

Just before Audrey took her shower in the police station:

Carver turned to the woman and figured she has been through enough tonight with putting up with his crap and swimming in sewage. A shower would undoubtably ease her mind.

"I think I should bite the bullet and allow... the "Ladies First" rule to take this one." He spoke straight-faced and in a calm tone. He set his bag on the ground near the table.

"Aw, well aren't you sweet," she remarked with a smile. "I appreciate it."

Audrey in the shower:

The bathroom door slightly opened, due to the steam from the warm shower, but leaving no opening to glance in.

Carver stared at the door for he thought Audrey was coming out but when he still heard the running water, he knew it's nothing but the flimsy door. He straightened his posture and pocketed the pen.

"I should close that, before Audrey thinks I'm peeking in." He thought deeply.

He very slowly went over to the door and reached out to take the handle for the close. As he did so, the door slightly opened some more with his approach. The man's heart raced as his curiosity began to attack his mind.

"Don't you dare do it, Carver. Just close the damn door." He thought trying to fight the temptation.

He felt tingles in his body as he gripped the handle gently.

"Close it, right now! She doesn't need you ogling her body... especially like a perverted peeping tom."

The man stood still and then lost the battle with his mind. He slightly pushed on the door and peaked in. He got frightened to see Audrey facing him but she had her eyes closed while doing her hair with shampoo. He caught a full glimpse of her front side but her scars had taken all arousing thoughts away.

She had a vicious vertical line beginning a little past her sternum and going down slightly between her breasts and four diagonal lines going from her left hip to the middle of her right rib cage. The woman turned to wash her hair and Carver quickly saw faint white lashing markings scattered around her soft back.

He quickly and very gently closed the door...

The time the two approched the University via bridge:

"Finally... we're almost there." Muttered Carver as they slowly continued across the bridge. "You know... You could have been there already if it wasn't for me. A simple leap and there you are... why did you stay?" He asked a bit curious to hear her reason.

Although he hated the incredibly long distance walk, Audrey's presence and very helpful knowledge of the city's layout had made it bearable. Her attractive features, feisty yet calm attitude and great intelligence as well as her skills in firearms had him greatly enjoy her company.

"True, I could have made it there in record breaking time," Audrey answered. "But I rather...enjoy your company at the moment. It sure beats heading out into an infected city with someone rather than be alone."

She continued to follow Carver as the two ventured towards the other side of the bridge.

"Besides, someone needs to look out for your best interests," the female tyrant added with a smirk.

Outside the university front doors, just before they seperated:

Audrey gave the man a nod.

"All right, it sounds good enough for me," she stated. "Hopefully you'll be able to get your information before that soldier."

"You hope... I'll make sure." Carver spoke with a slight smile. "Be Safe, Beautiful. See you in twenty." He added as he turned and dashed down the the opposite end of the building with shotgun in hand.

"Please let her be careful" He thought deeply remembering she would have died in that tunnel with the hunters if he had not helped her.

Audrey being duct taped to the chair and held against her will:

Audrey averted her gaze towards the Native American soldier, her golden hues staring deeply into his dark brown eyes.

I'm so confused on this man's intentions. He's telling me to trust him after he had me kidnapped and used my brother against me to gain information. Now at the moment, he has not injected me with that substance...I don't know if I should believe him or not. It's just difficult for me to truly believe his word...

She offered a pleading look, trying to understand what the man was planning

Carver stared at Audrey as she looked confused and wanting something more from him to understand.

"Trust me" He mouthed silently and that is all he could really give her.

Just outside the destroyed University Administration building:

Audrey pulled out a black hankerchief from a pocket of her utility belt. She stepped over to Carver and held it in preparation to tie up his wound.

"This isn't much, but it should slow the bleeding down a bit until you can get it fixed," the blonde vixen declared, waiting for Carver to hold out his arm.

Carver said nothing as he raised out his arm and allowed Audrey to tie the handkerchief around the wound on his right arm. He kept his eyes on her gorgeous face.

"I knew you would make it out." He spoke plainly. "And you didn't get hurt." he added.

Audrey smiled a bit, but was still greatly disappointed in the Native American soldier for his actions.

"Thank you, I appreciate the confidence you have in me," she said quietly. "A big change since the first time we met, huh?"

And there is was... that final statement made by the Blonde Vixen had really struck home for the Native American. It is very true what she said. Carver really did change. It is because Audrey was willing to show concern and compassion even after everything, harsh and disappointing he did to her.

Remembering her cute annoyed look, her chuckle, her nervous demeanor, her smile, her adorable sleeping form, her smirks, her compliments, her concern and especially her incredible figure were memories he could never forget.

Then remembering the mean words he used to bring her down for no real reason at all had him deeply angered with himself. What made it worse is he still never apologized for any of it. But actually hoped... he would get that chance someday.

He continued to hold his stare at the sky until the chopper had left his sight completely.

"I... really am gonna miss you, aren't I" He muttered softly with a smirk, knowing he will. He felt glad no one is around to hear him say those words.

He held his right arm with his left and looked at the bloody black handkerchief over his wound. It brought a smile to his face to know it's hers. He then stared down the road which seemed endless and started walking, wondering where it will take him.

A few weeks after the Raccoon City Incident...

Audrey paced in the sanctions of her private office, going over the latest reports from the Raccoon City disaster. Along with the information Carver gave her, the blonde vixen and her brother both were able to gather a large sum of combat data and research information for their current employers, boosting the company's morale in the twins.

Dressed in an all black suit, dark purple silk shirt and black heels, the woman casually stepped over to the window near her desk and peered out at the busy streets of New York City. Since arriving, the place was quite loud, which grated on the female tyrant's nerves. She preferred a quieter atmosphere, but had to deal with it to stay on the better side of HCF.

I wonder what Carver could be up to at this moment?

She exhaled and shifted her posture a bit so she had more weight on her right foot than her left.

No matter where he may be, I hope that Umbrella hasn't discovered what he did in Raccoon City.

Audrey crossed her arms over her chest and continued to gaze out at the metropolis in the distance.

I hope you're well, Carver...

A few weeks after the Raccoon City Incident...

Carver closed his journal and sighed as he looked at it's brown cover. He sat quietly in his wooden chair before finally getting to his feet. He turned off the desk lamp and the room went into darkness. Only the port holes from an early morning blue sky are the source of light as his houseboat gently swayed due to the water of the ocean.

His boat is a few miles off the coast of Miami. To be isolated from the world is something he will always prefer over all else.

The Native American, in beige cargo pants a matching casual vest and a blue collar shirt with rolled up sleaves, stepped away from his desk and went across the navy blue carpet of his living room. He continued to the sliding glass doors at the stern of his small and cozy home then stepped outside to oversee the horizen like he did every morning for the past few weeks.

He enjoyed being alive since death had nearly took hold of him many times in Raccoon City.

The sun begged to come out as it is making it's orange brightness on the white clouds above. The deep blue water creating a calm and peaceful sound as he held his stare at what looked like a painting.

He reached into his pocket with his right hand, pulled out Audrey's handkerchief and glanced at the black cloth. It took him forever to get the blood out but once he did he always carried it around with him. To have something from the woman is something he believes to be cherishable. It made him smile everytime he looked at it because he remembered how she made him feel.

"I will see you again... someday. I still have to say sorry." He thought deeply.

He then glanced back at the horizen and waited for his second friend to brighten his day with light. Just like the first.

"I hope... the world is treating you better then I did...."
