I love Ryosaku (and fujisaku too) but when it comes to the anime and the manga I just love those two!They are absolutely made for each other!

God, eversince I watched the anime I fell in love with them! They are the reason why I even began liking Prince of Tennis.

I definitely have to agree with all who have posted before me, the way Ryoma treats Sakuno is just absolutely different from everyone else! I wish that Konomi-sensei will develop their pairing in the upcoming eps this march!

Actually, I was browsing around fanfictionland, bored, when I thought of this pairing. I forget why, but I remembered that I watched a few episodes of PoT, and thought they were cute together, but I couldn't find anymore of the episodes, so I stopped watching it. Coincidentally, I remembered their names and browsed them up in fanfictionland. I read a few stories (that were insanely awsome and cute) and fell in love with the pairing. I actually started watching all the episodes where there were RyoSaku moments and started reading the chapters with RyoSaku moments. Eventually, I read and watched the whole thing, and I CAN'T wait until the new chapters come out in March!

I first saw them in Episode 1 and my initial reaction was like, "Get that girl away from this anime." Sorry, but at the time, I really disliked her for her shyness and her tendency to stutter every 5 seconds. But then as the anime went on alittle bit more, I was like, "Hmm...these two could become a potential couple if you look really closely." And when the anime really started going, I was like, "Okay, hands down. These two are gonna get together like a chemical reaction. No excuses." So...this is how I came to like RyoSaku...although I kind of feel bad for Sakuno, since Ryoma is an aloof and indifferent boy. But he cares for her, that much I know, since it's shown in the anime when he beat up the bullies and actually taught her tennis. :)

Then I saw the on-line pics of them and at that moment...I was on the floor, drooling like a dog with hearts in my eyes, because they looked so cute!!!! X3

And plus, wasn't there a part where Kentarou met Sakuno? I think Ryoma actually got jealous in that part. Is it in the anime or manga? And did Kevin meet her too??

Lol, Ryoma doesn't like to share his lady with other guys. XDDDDD

i watched episode one and i really thought that she was too shy for Ryoma. I mean, come on! Ahaha.

But then, i watched (yesh, i got the DVD for POT - complete- and skipped a few hundred episodes,) the episode where Ryoma went to the states, and i was sooooooo, like, drooling over the floor when Sakuno gave Ryoma the tennis ball - you have to admit, it was one of their 'moments'. then i started reading RyoSaku. And yeah, that's how it happened. Eheheh.

Ryosaku Rocks people! They're just so totally awesome with each other.

This is my full story on how I fell in love with P.O.T.

Gaaaah....I accidentally came upon prince of tennis in tv, I watched the episode where Sakuno got lost and Ann showed her the way.

When I watch anime shows, I always look for a bit of romance at the start of the show, and considering my nature, I began hypothesizing who would be the most potential partner for Ryoma.

There was Tomoka who destroyed my eardrums.....eeennnnggg......sorry but you're out. Poor Tomo. I just dont like you. You're just ripped my ears off...so you cannot be for Ryoma, definitely!XD

There was Ann. Hmmmm.....I like this girl.....she's got spunk. Now, this girl and Ryoma, this would make a better pair than that, that, um...that whatever you call her Tomoka.

Then I met Sakuno. Oh Gosh. She's clumsy, shy, kind ....and well, too shy for my liking...but hey she has determination and her relationship with Ryoma kinda of looks like it could develop into something more.

So since that day that I watched that episode I began watching Prince of Tennis, hoping that I could witness some Ryosaku moments....and though there were only a few...I continued on....and in the end fell in love with P.O.T.

And that's my story. ^_^

Okay, I remember the first time I read PoT --it was in the Shounen Jump magazine that my bros subscribe to. I remember that we read it together and we were all like "Cocky bastard" and "He thinks he's so cool." Oh, and we were like "What's with the stupid girl?" So afterwards, PoT died in my mind.

But then like 3-4 years later, my friend is like "Omg! Prince of Tennis!" and I remember telling her that it sucked and stuff. But she kept egging me on its amazingness, so I tried it again...

Something must have happened in the 3-4 years, 'cuz then I was like "Ryoma... Sakuno... YES." And I learned that Ryoma acted like a "coky bastard" and "he thinks he's so cool" because, ... well, he is so cool. And he can be. And the "stupid girl" became "cute." Haha. Then I would read PoT I was always on the look out for RyoSaku moments. I knew there wouldn't be a lot... but I kept hoping! Thank you Konomi for depriving me of sleep. And health. And normalness. :DDD

Then same friend showed me the light of fanfictions... and I = happiness. Hahaha. I became a freakin' addict to the cuteness. :3

For me, I fell in love with them while reading my first book of the manga. When I saw sakuno and ryoma, I was like, 'this 2 is so gonna end up together'. I mean, why would the author just draw a girl in there for no reason? Sakuno is not there for just cheerleading, if it is, we have tomoko and thats more than enough. And all those little little hints, sometime quite obvious. Everyone can see that they are meant for each other!!

although i saw it 1 year ago in its manga, but i never know that d'racket is RED until i saw that episode .. hehehe XP

I honestly disliked Tenisu no Oujisama at first because I thought it was all about sports and would be a boring read; although it's true that almost everything is about Tennis, I continued reading the manga chapters because I was curious. I don't like the cliche elements used in the manga, but PoT has a charm which makes me want to read it further; of course, I also started to like Ryoma x Sakuno more because they look adorable together xD When I finished reading the manga, I was not very satisfied because of the overall lack of Ryosaku moments, if you ignore the Kintarou-eating-onigiri-dropped-on-the-ground chapter.

Then I went on an insane expedition to sift through deviantart, fanfiction.net and google for doujinshins, fanart and fanfiction. I combed most of the ones I found interesting, but I hope there is more soon.

I fell in love with ryosaku pairing since from the beginning,..It amuse me how ryoma acknowledge her in his own way,..

its not that obvious but those tiny bits of moment where the two of them are involve is quite cute...

I guess if konomi makes it too obvious it wouldnt be as cute as it appear..and it suites their character behavior well

I love the pairing in the anime and manga deeply, but I personally fell in love with the manga RyoSaku before the anime RyoSaku. I also love them more than the anime one. I just think in the manga he talks to her differently than anyone else. He doesn't give her long answers to her questions, but he doesn't ignore her like everyone else. In the "Ryoma's Girlfriend" chapter, he explained to her why he had tweaked his style for the day.

Another reason I like the manga pairing more is because Sakuno is so cute when she's acting maturely. /// She also doesn't seem so much like a humorous character but almost like a wise girl. She's so nice and quiet I just want to push her right into Ryoma and run away screaming gomenasai repeatedly.

it's a very long story how i fell in love with RYOSAKU.

1st- my Cousin who's currently a doctor diagnosed me having asthma, he advised for me to get one with some sports to excercise my lungs. But i don't have much friends in the village so i have to find a sport that I can play by myself or the wall.

2nd- i was introduced to swimming, but im scared of drowning so yeah ( i can't swim...im a rock on water. __) I saw kids playing badminton and i was like..." I want something wayyyyy cooooooler than that...like like tennis!"

3rd- my Bff (snce prep) was an otaku, she learned im playing tennis, so she was like: you better watch this anime.

4th- dude! i got hooked when i saw Ryoma do that twist serve thing! but i was excruciatingly annoyed with Sakuno's attitude and the stutters and the blush.

but dude, she's like 12 (yeah...three years younger than i do). 12 years old are expected as such. plus, it's a con if youre going to write a fanfiction about her, she's like a "white" character (IMO)... you can do anything with her chacarter coz she's more like a blank piece of paper you can write on.

and as far as I saw POT, RYOSAKU is slightly canon. (yay!! i knew what canon means.... thanks a lot to Cinpii) Because for what reason would T.K-sama put the picture thingy in the anime, it's like a subtle sin or something.

OR MAYBE IM JUST IMAGINING THINGS. :)) but no... i believe RYOSAKU is (slightly) canon.
