You can answer any .Hack question them? Well if so, I was wondering, around what time period in the .Hack game does Liminality Volume 2 take place? Question of intrest for future chapters from DnDBrothers

Do you mean the second episode of Liminality? It's after the first but Liminality takes place after .hackSIGN and the games after that I think. You should see the time lines on some of the .hack sites.

The games take place around 2007 to 2010 cuz .hack//SIGN was in 2007. I know the last game ends around 2010 anyway.

The second episode of Liminality was around .hack//Mutation.

If I'm wrong I'm sorry. T.T

Yes,I mean the second episode of Liminality, I know it takes place around the game time, but I was just wondering when, thanks anyway for the help, and I hope that I'm not sounding ungrateful, but if anyone does know, could they plz tell me, Thank you.

Eh, way too late for an answer. I forgot that I had a board here but anyways, Liminality 2 takes place in Outbreak, near the beginning.

I meant a date, like the fourth episode of liminality is at chrismas eve, a month would do really.

Sorry, no exact date. There never was a confirmation. The only clue that might lead you to it is that the Games (Infection-Quarantine) occur over the course of 9 months. If I had to take a shot in the dark, I'd say maybe July-September, somewhere around there?

I know it's been a very long time since you asked, but I might as well answer anyway. As best I can determine, based on hints in the .hack//Another Birth novels, the Magus battle (which caused the trouble in Liminality 2) took place in late October.

Ok well I have a question, in G.U (vol 1) what's the max number of arena points avalible) I heard it was 9999wp kind of like the lvl 50 999/1000 exp deal but I don't know.

are you talking about the anime or the games?

Anime: 3 (SIGN, LotTB, and ROOTS)

Games: 2 (original and GU)

As for the manga volumes... well, all I've read is LotTB, so all I know is those 3... but I know there are more than that.

Legend of the Twilight: 3 volumes

GU+: 3 volumes so far, total number uncertain.

Alcor: 1 volume

GnU: Not released in book form, but it would be one volume.

XXXX: 2 volumes

Only Legend of the Twilight has been released in English.

Novels:

AI Buster: 2 volumes

Another Birth: 4 volumes

ZERO: 1 volume so far, uncertain if series will be continued

CELL: 2 volumes

GU: 2 volumes so far, out of a probable 3.

Only AI Buster and Another Birth have been released in English.

Do you know where I can find scanlations of the .hack manga? If there are any? I'd like to read Alcor and GU+. Also I've never heard of the Cell novel, I'd like to read that too. It sucks that just because I'm too lazy to learn another language that I don't get to enjoy all of the wonders of .hack. u_u;

i dont know about Alcor but i heard G.u. + will come out english ver. in febuary of next year. oh and if u want to have more info theyr making a movie of the .hack gu series called trilogy it will probably be relised on january 25 but whether thats the united states or japan idk.

Trilogy comes out on DVD and Blu-Ray on March 25. The release date was recently pushed back to make room for theatrical (late December) and TV (sometime in January) presentations.
