I absolutely adore this pair. For my tastes, I don't really like Syaoron with Sakura. They're more like brother and sister.

I adore this coupling so much yet it's such a shame that we can't find many E+S fics....

Just a question for Sakura A. Moon; in what way do you see Sakura and Syaoran as brother and sister? (no offense, I'm just confused)

i have to admit, when i first looked up this pairing i was just bored out of my mind. So with nothing to do, i just randomly chose this pairing. And now, i'm a major eriol/sakura fan. I think i can see where sakura and syaoran might be considered brothers and sister. She's too innocent for her own good. he protects her, kinda like touya. it's cute.

Well, I suppose you can see Sakura and Syaoran in that way, but being a die-hard SxS fan, I much prefer them as a couple.

Going back to Sakura/Eriol, I'm not opposed to reading a fic with this pairing, so long as it's worth it. Even though it's certainly not my favorite pairing, there are some good fics out there that are worth reading if this pairing is to your liking.

you should read FORBIDDEN EMERALD and EMERALD AND SAPPHIRE. those two are very well written eriol/sakura. I'm also a sxs fan. I was such a fan that i went nearly completely crazy over the pairing. but then i played around with the pairings. but SxS will always be my number 1. Follow closly by ExS and YuexSakura. i have a lot of other pairings i like and i have at least one story made for the pairing.

I love this pairing. I like Syaoran/Sakura a little better, but I love both.

I think Sakura/Eriol is a rather interesting pairing, like I've already said, yet it might be difficult to write out something that fits somewhat into canon with this particular pairing. I don't want to get big time Sakura/Eriol fans all mad at me, but I'm only saying that to make it really fit canon, we'd have to have Syaoran die off or something, and make Sakura find her savior in Eriol, as I don't think he's the type to go and admit his feeling like that, we had the proof with Kaho...

i must agree no matter how painful. Most of the stories i had read that is a ExS, Syaoran was either dead or sent off to marry another girl. And then Eriol comes to the save the day. i have yet to find a fic that even comes close to the cannon. Not true, most of the stories are future stories. none has been during the 2 years where sakura became cardcaptor then cardmistress.

Well I've always prefered Eriol since the he came in at CCS's second season...I fell in love with in that episode when he helped Sakura with making her teddy bear for yukito... the part when he knelt in front of Sakura and kissed her hand...KYAA!...and he said he was envious of the guy she was going to give it to... ah! i was squeaing for a good few hours after that..hehehehe... Anyway... I dont know why but I feel that Sakura would be much better off with Eriol cuz he pretty much perfect with a few quirks in between but it makes me love him even more... And this is one of the thinds that really bother me...for some reason there are more SyaoranxEriol fics than there are of him and Sakura... It so wierd and it creeps me out. and the other thing is that i find the ExT pairing totally baseless... I've seen the series and didnt see anything that would points to them actually having any feelings for each other besides friendship.(No offense ExT fans) Tommoyo is most likely crushing on Sakura which I find so totally wrong but in some wierd way cute... they dont really talk to each other that much and when they do it almost always involves Sakura in some way or another... It so frustrating that the EriolxSakura pairing isn't as popular as most.

I would have to say I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU.. about the whole episode when he knelt and kissed Sakura's hand! Ahhhh.. soooooo cute!!!! I love Sakura and Eriol parings! I do also love Syaron with Sakura.. but not AS much.. as for the whole Tomoya and Eriol thing that ppl seem to love, yeah, I also agree there is no base to that. It you actually watch closely there is probably a better base for a Tomoyo and Syaoran one! Although all they actually talk about is Sakura.. but anyway.. you get my point.. I want more Eriol and Sakura fics... :(
