Topic: Pairings
well i think Fry and Leela are a good pairing, but it hit me, a Fry and Amy is good to but you need to know how to write it and what about Leela, can't leave her out. that's why i've started writing one called jealousy. it's not posted yet but it will be. i think having Leela jealous and making her do a few crazy things to win Fry would be interesting, but as i said you need to know how to write it ^^

I like the Fry/Amy pairing, but it's definitely much harder than Fry/Leela. I guess if Leela were to go crazy with jealousy, it might be similar to her reaction in The Sting. Not that Fry would be dead, but to her, he'd be gone forever. Dream sequences were she realizes her love for Fry would really help, just like in the Sting. And those would definitely influence her actions when she's awake.

Ya, i never really thought fry would date either one of them but then in one episode he started dating amy and they were ok together theyre both kinda dumb

I've always been partial to odd pairings and slash. I particularly enjoy pairing up enemies and best friends. So for Futurama, my favorite pairing would definately have to be Fender (FryxBender). Canon pairings bore me, to be quite honest. I've read so many fanfics that a story has to be pretty messed up to keep me interested.

Amen to that. And same here. I'm well known for my love of unconventional and unorthodox pairings (mostly yaoi, of course). Canon is incredibly boring, which is why I refuse point blank to write it. And Fender is quite obviously my fav pairing also, what with Dolomite Heart being my own little brain-spawn (albiet a wee bit zombified, but nevertheless alive).
