Topic: A series of origins?
Has it been done?

I've been writing one for some time, after I discovered I liked writing about game characters' origins (Example, my Tekken story Murder 2). I'm a bit new in the SC fandom, so if there is a well known one (like Mystica83's choices, or options, or whatever in the New Galactica fandom) please don't laugh at me.

I know I'm probably not the best author out there, but if there isn't one already, I would like to write one. But if you feel my style wouldn't be worthy (for checking this, read my Tekken story, not my Galactica one, I would write these first-person instead of third. And my Galactica one is written a bit odd anywho, even for a third-person one.) Actually, upon second thought, some of them may be third person... HOWEVER they won't be disorganized.

As far as I know not really, but the game does contain a lot of back story for the characters as it pertains to any parents relations. Things like that, if you have looked over at the Characterise Me forum under Talim you'd see that there is a lot to some of the back stories...though I do kind of have the start to a Tira one, in the game it describes about a point in her past that she lived aimlessly wandering and killing anyone in her path, that is where I started one of my stories that I really need to get to...

Yes, what I meant was too elaborate on backstories provided cannonically, of course. And after all, it really can't hurt to have more options. Thank you for your valued input. I suppose I REALLY must return to Sci-Fi Friday anyway.

^_^;; Well, yeah I should but it doesn't mean it's going to happen soon... unless the internet suddenly goes down on this computer which would then make it a lot easier...but it isn't going to happen...hopefully...

In my fic, I Am Your Slave (tentative title, of course), every time a new character is introduced, his or her backstory is elaborated on. The result is a series of elaborated backstories. I keep them all as cannonical as possible, but since it's an "Alternate Telling"-style fic, there are a few non-cannonical changes and events.

But my fic might have what you're looking for. =x

I have read the first two or three chapters of it. I just need to stop foruming and reviewing other stories and get back to it...sorry...warning you that might take a while...

My only story on fanfiction.net happens to be an origin story, of a sort. It's barely even started right now, needs revision and won't be updated as much as I'd like due to my fic over at fictionpress taking top priority, as well as me being overly busy off the net. So far it tells the tale of Siegfried to right before he lost his mind until around the time he hears of Soul Edge for the first time. The plan is to complete the story up through Soul Calibur III and beyond, but...yeah.
