Welcome to the Intertwined Fates discussionNow, I know it's a relatively new fanfiction, and that I appear to be relatively new to fanfiction.com, let's start off this discussion with the notion that I am not new and it is not my first story here, just to make things interesting. And with light to that, let me begin by outlining the characters of the story:

Tsuji Gettan Sukemochi is a young (relatively so) samurai who has barely on his 28th year of living. He has studied under the Yamaguchi-ryu school of kenjutsu and seeks to perfect this sword art he has received full transmission of.

Kamikirimusi is a guest character in Soul Calibur 4 who is an Oni who had been locked away for a really long time. Now having been released from her magic prison, she has come to realize all the Oni she played with in the Heian period had all disappeared. She senses a faint energy glowing in the West, but she's never left Japan, much less the Kyoto prefecture, so she's unsure of going after it for the moment.

Of course I'll be introducing many characters from the Soul Calibur franchise, even some other guest characters who don't entirely fit in with the ancient world setting; we've seen Taki briefly, so we don't know what's going on with her at the moment. Shura, another guest character in SC4 has debuted in the fanfic as the complete opposite of Gettan: blood-thirsty, violent, and, to be blunt, evil. All we know is that she's seeking to kill everyone who presents a challenge to her, and that for some reason Gettan has that mojo with demonic-inspired ladies. I won't be surprised if we see Setsuka, Mitsurugi, or Taki showing up in the next few chapters, but I really think I need to press into the character relationships, dialog, and mannerisms more.

So that's my unofficial little introduction. Feel free to discuss, ask, or ponder; I'll answer, direct, moderate, and possible (mis-)guide you.
