This is something I thought of since last week and I thought maybe we should do something "similar". So, I thought we should do this. I just need agreement from the people/authors. Okay?

How come there isn't a best female ranger? Or what about best supporting character (not to sound rude or arrogant, but I think I'd win that one)? So, can you vote for your own things? And if not, can I be a judge?

I approve of this, so I better get cracking on Sonora Rangers, I want to get to a few key elements before December, and I'll probably keep updating no matter what. I'd like to judge, also.

Okay, so I have one judge to help me count the votes. I need judges that way we don't have problems. For example, if someone sends their vote twice in a row containing the same ranger/monster who are nominated. Anyone else?

Ok, I see you've changed the thing to include female Rangers, but still no supporting character? Just because you know I'll BEAT you. Lol. But anyway, can authors vote for their own fics, and can judges vote at all? Because with the way it seems to be going at the moment, there'll only be a couple of people voting. I'll mention it in chapter, because I think I have one reader who doesn't read yours (dun-dun-dun!.

I see you've added a few more topics. At the moment it looks like "Best Movie" will be a little one-sded; I'm the only author who currently has a completed one, and as far as I know, there's only going to be a maximum of one more by Christmas.

Like I said, the reason why I postponed the awards was because after thanksgiving, hysteria (christmas concert rehearsals, etc.) starts and I won't have a break between December 1st and the 31st. I will update in between, but I'm sure that's not likely to happen.

Anonymous will have to review their votes. The signed reviewers go by private messaging.

Yeah, all fics that have been started by the time nominations start will be in it, including Dimension Warriors...that will be interesting... Of course, your fic just wont be in certain categories that it doesn't have anything for. That raises an interesting point, the category of leader, which of your Rangers is the leader?

You're right. That is interesting. Because I really don't know.

Being a semi-realist, I realized that six people from different areas coming together might not have a proper leader for a while. My (somewhat) main character, Ash, would never want to be a leader, my other character, Erynn, followed Ash for much of the journey than the other way round. Would it be awkward if I eventually decided to make a submitted character the leader?

Though it seems to be Ranger canon that the Red's the leader.

Not always, Tommy and Delphine were White Rangers but they led their teams. So Ash could be. But it often starts out that the leader doesn't want to (think Connor). Just try and force it on them, you know, all the characters looking to them for advice, etc. And personally I wouldn't make a submitted character the leader.

By the way, I checked your profile, your Quilava's attacks aren't in alphabetical order like you said.

Interessant you'd point that out =P

Two of the attacks are mixed up (if I remember correctly), I figured that out a few months ago.

However, me being lazy and all...

Edit: And to be honest, I thought Connor was thick. Which, coincidentally, is what Ash is. Huh.

Also, about the leader thing, on my team the Blue Ranger is the leader. Funny how that works. Of course, based on my Red Ranger's character, she wouldn't want to be a leader.

Which reminds me, I seem to be the only author with a Purple Ranger and a female Blue and Red ranger.

Well I generally go for the classics, as in a male, leading Red Ranger. However, I have a female Blue Ranger in Dino Force, I will in Legacy, and I might in Elite Squad (but for Elite Squad no colours or genders are decided). And the reason you're the only one with a purple Ranger is probably because its an actual colour and they didn't have it on Power Rangers.

Okay, people that are writing Poke Rangers stories. You have 13 days until nominations! This is your opportunity to submit any new villain, character, etc. January 10th is the deadline, if any new characters and new zord combos etc are after it, they won't be accepted until 2008.

Yay, nominations are beggining! Ok, so how many nominations can we have for each category? Because for some categories I have one thing, but others I have two, but unless there's a limit, then I'd like to nominate everything I have for every category, just so I have more chances. Also, I think goofs should come in pairs, since nobody is going to have the goofy character without a partner...I think...

So yeah, either one nomination per category, or individual limits I reckon. Individual limits would probably be best, as for some categories there aren't very many things possible to enter (again, such as goof, only YF2 and I have them(AND DONNY AND/OR CARL ARE/IS A DEADLOCK TO WIN!!! MWAHAHAHA!!!)).

A few things to add to that, when I said "Individual limits" I didn't mean for each author, I meant for each category. (Although to be fair, if that was one or something then YF2 and I should be allowed 3/2 due to multiple seasons in one year).

Also, I can't believe you forgot, but the morph call for DW is "Dimension Warriors, Transform!", Transform, not Power up.

Also, I resent being placed in the category of common Ranger! In fact, in realistic accounts, I think I would fit in the category of Smart Ranger, or, if such a category were to exist, best comedy Ranger (I hope I don't sound like I'm bragging, this is generally how I am), which in Power Rangers would often have been the Green Ranger (Bridge, Xander (as well as Chip), Joel, what's his face from TF). Come to think of it, a few of them were quite smart too...

The authors can vote for their own fic.

As for voting, I will count the Best Morphing Sequence, Best Personality, Best Poke Ranger Fic Of The Year, and the Best Supporting Non-Ranger. I will pm the other votes to all three. (In other words, Starfighter, if I have the best male ranger, female ranger, supporting ranger and intelligent ranger, I will send the votes to you.)

At the end, the judges and I will come together and I will put up who won for each category.

Well in my next chapter I'll tell people the category's I'm recording, and the nominees, and ask them to vote for them by reviewing them to me, or sending them via pm or emails (saying their pen name if emailing), and I'll say that for other categories to go to whoever, and check here for the nominees...

On second thought, wouldn't it be easier to have all votes here (since this cant be anonymous voting if we have it done by review) and any anonymous reviewers will have to go through the arduous task of joining the site. There's no reason for them not to anyway, Phoenix Espeon did it just to have favourites and alerts.

Oh yeah, YF2, one more thing I forgot to include in my review, and I'm posting it here because you'll get it quicker than a pm...I think. Anyway, after that last chapter I think you should nominate LadySeviper for your general - in fact, you can have her up anyway, without taking anything else down. But I would definitely vote for her if she was available now.

Does anybody think that we should give these awards an actual name? You know, like there's the Oscars, the Emmys, and so on. I'd go for either the Pokeys or the Jimmys...they both sound cool...

Ok...you've probably gotten alerts about the posts i made here, but I've deleted them now, as I've realised that YF2's way of doing things will in fact be largely anonymous voting, so I'd ask you simply to delete the posts here regarding me previously. Anyway, YF2, it seems you didn't vote in a lot of categories. Also, there were already two votes in the Best General category, so I've assumed that one was for me regarding what I said in that review. If this isn't the case however, then I'll add another vote in that category.

By the way, i've got all the details about this up in my latest chapter (up now!), but it took up 3 pages! That's almost a third of what it would have been without that addition!
