Yes, I am referring to the English Version of ADVENT CHILDREN (and KINGDOM HEARTS). And Aerith did say "Dilly-dally, Shilly-Shally," in the English version when Cloud (Steve Burton) goes "But I let you die."

Eh, so I had a Spelling error moment, nothing to get flustered about. But thanks for the information on how they came up with Aerith's name though!

I don't think he directly said "I let you die" in the Japanese version. He more just said "I wasn't able to protect you" and "I can't protect people anymore."

Aerith(this is translated): "Why do you keep coming here?"

When Tifa and Cloud are in the room together, what is it that she says over and over again in the English version? In Japanese, it's "Drifting, drifting, drifting." Just wondering.

I thought Mena Suvari did a pretty bad job, personally. I'm not blaming her, exactly, but it was just so...bland. Lifeless. Cloud and Tifa's voices were both awesome. They really messed up with Vincent and Rufus, though. Didn't like that at all. Yuffie's was fine, though I prefer her DoC voice actress. Barret's was an overused voice actor, but it wasn't a real problem. Steve Staley as Kadaj was... a bit of a let-down. It could have been better. But Sephiroth's English voice was fantastic. At least I thought so. I reminded me of Christian Bale. Whoever that guy was, he did a marvelous job.

Has anyone here ever watched it in French? Aerith's French voice is amazing, believe it or not. It captures Aerith's personality so well. Really, it was the best portayal out of her three(or four, counting Mandy Moore)voice actresses. I like Moore's Aerith second best.

I believe that this Dilly-dally, shilly shally is zuru zuru in Japanese, but I could be mistaken. Wouldn't be the first time. nah, I liked the voices of the Japanese version, so much better than the English version ^^ the english version makes it look like some fairy tale but the Japanese version is more like the events of FF7 and every game prior and post FF7 and AC actually took place in real life. (don't mind me, I watched the movie and clips too many times*

She said 'zuruzuru'. It's an onomatopoeia for dragging something. In this case, she was saying that Cloud's dragging his old fears along with him for nothing.

Flip the first two around. :) Her name spelt in Japanese is E-A-RI-SU.

Just saying, I really liked Aerith/Aeris's Crisis Core voice actress--she was the only one I was happy with voice-wise

i like mena suvari's best. i think it captured aerith's "aerith-ness" more than mandy moore's. but mandy's voice sounds cute in kh.

Yeah, Mena Suvari's was good, but it made Aerith seem just like this nice and quiet girl where really she has more spunk and personality. Mandy Moore's was nice, I think, but it didn't really remind me of Aerith at all
